In this paper, we continue our investigations on digital nomadism and the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the work-related aspects and lifestyle of digital nomads (DN). The findings presented in this empirical study reflect the analysis of the impact of COVID-19 outbreak (and its waves) on the market economy and work-life boundaries of DNs as perceived from posts and comments gathered from a Reddit community during the period of early March 2020 until the end of 2022. From this point, our results indicate that the massification of remote work among formal workers in response to COVID-19 pandemic has impacted both the formal labor market and the DN ecosystem. As a consequence, we argue that digital nomadism tends to play a critical role beyond work from (almost) anywhere (WFA) in a post-COVID-19 era taking into account the novel facets of nomadic work-lifestyle.

Purpose: The objectives of this study were to create a device with technological development of the self-inflating bag (SIB) equipment to measure the variables tidal volume, peak inspiratory pressure, and inspiratory flow and to evaluate the knowledge of undergraduate students in handling the SIB. To reduce the risks of mortality, length of hospital stay, and infections, SIB is a resource used to ventilate the patient through the inflation of the device, but it is not capable of measuring the ventilatory parameters. Excess ventilation and incorrect handling of the bag can cause lung injury in newborns. Therefore, measuring these parameters can prevent lung injury resulting from inadequate ventilation. Method: This is a cross-sectional and experimental study, with the development of a device SIB that allows the evaluation of variables of neonatal respiratory mechanics that were tested with an artificial lung. It was approved by the Research Ethics Committee and the research was developed in three stages: the first represents the search for scientific articles for the consensus of neonatal ventilatory variables for the construction of the SIB parameters;the second stage depicts the technological development of a device capable of monitoring such variables through the SIB. In the third stage, the content validation of the device with the handling of the SIB was carried out by students of medicine and physiotherapy courses of Brazil. Results: In this work, a device that analyzes the values of the main ventilatory parameters in neonatology was developed and to generate a safety range for the use of the device, curves with a tolerance of 10% up and down were created. All electronic components were coupled to the equipment, with a display that transmits the parameter values. Humanity has battled tuberculosis for all of recorded history. Some studies estimate that Mycobacterium tuberculosis may have been around as long as 3 million years but it was only in 1834 when Johann Schonlein officially presented the characteristics of it. Even though the TB epidemic has touched all corners of the world, Africa and Asia are the regions that currently suffer the worst consequences. The purpose of this study is to construct a model within the eVision forecasting environment, capable of forecasting the trend of Tuberculosis cases in India, as India is the country that accounts for the largest percentage of TB cases and deaths worldwide. And being able to make predictions for India may also lead to successful results for other regions in Asia and Africa. In order to do so, this study presents different test cases that show the effectiveness of the model, varying the number of steps for each one of the data sets created. It's important to note, that these data sets are combinations of data gathered from the states with the most TB cases in India in the last years, as well as the total data for India, and supplemental data from Google Trends, as a way to facilitate the machine learning model. Even though the final results were respectable compared to past research done on India and other countries, the model nevertheless has a limitation on the number of weeks ahead which the predictions are still considered to be good; with 7 weeks being the optimal result.
