The electro-hydrostatic actuator (EHA) has the advantage of high power weight ratio, less leakage and the absence of throttle loss. It's used on the multi-electric aircraft and the all-electric aircraft. However, it will be affected by the aerodynamic load and the rudder flutter will occur if the dynamic stiffness of the EHA is low. As a result, it's significant to analyse the sensitivity of the EHA's parameters on the dynamic stiffness. The article builds a linear model of the EHA considering the leakage in the system. What's more, the local parameter sensitivity for the dynamic stiffness is calculated when the frequency is between 0.01 Hz and 1000 Hz. © The Institution of engineering & Technology 2024.

This paper explores the potential of a nonlinear optimization algorithm, known as the Levenberg-Marquardt (LM) algorithm, to expedite the calculation of spherical wave coefficients. Reconstruction of antenna radiation patterns (AUT) within a reverberation chamber (RC) could be accomplished through the utilization of spherical wave expansion (SWE) with the measurement of power correlation coefficients. However, solving the SWE of electrically large AUT is complex and time-consuming. The matrix decomposition approach is used to convert high-dimensional matrices into multiple low-dimensional ones. Additionally, it analytically solves the Jacobian matrix within the LM, achieving a time savings of more than fivefold. The efficacy and precision of this method are substantiated through numerical calculations, simulations, and measurements. © 2002-2011 IEEE.

In this study, we introduce a novel auction-based algorithm modeled as a decentralized coalition formation game, designed for the complex requirements of large-scale multi-robot task allocation under uncertain demand. This context is particularly illustrative in scenarios where robots are tasked to charge electric vehicles. The algorithm begins by partitioning a composite task sequence into distinct subsets based on spatial similarity principles. Subsequently, we employ a coalition formation game paradigm to coordinate the assembly of robots into cooperative coalitions focused on these distinct subsets. To mitigate the impact of unpredictable task demands on allocations, our approach utilizes the conditional value-at-risk to assess the risk associated with task execution, along with computing the potential revenue of the coalition with an emphasis on risk-related outcomes. Additionally, integrating consensus auctions into the coalition formation framework allows our approach to accommodate assignments for individual robot-task pairings, thus preserving the stability of individual robotic decision autonomy within the coalition structure and assignment distribution. Simulative analyses on a prototypical parking facility layout confirm that our algorithm achieves Nash equilibrium within the coalition structure in polynomial time and demonstrates significant scalability. Compared to competing algorithms, our proposal exhibits superior performance in resilience, task execution efficiency, and reduced overall task completion times. The results demonstrate that our approach is an effective strategy for solving the scheduling challenges encountered by multi-robot systems operating in complex environments. IEEE

Facing the development trend of airborne system integration, intelligence, and networking, in order to improve the level of airborne system health management and information interconnection, and solve the problems of data standardization description and cross-system integration, a cross-domain information modeling method for health management of aircraft hydraulic systems is proposed. The standardized representation of hydraulic component information is designed, the type definition and constraint rules of typical components are described, and the information model of a typical mainline aircraft hydraulic system is established. A320 aircraft braking system as an example to build the information model for verification, through the software tool to build the information model and generate XML files, developed a server to load the information model and use client access to realize the information model read and write, to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the information model. © 2023 IEEE.

Collaborative hunting, also known as Multi-Agent Pursuit Evasion (MAPE), is a crucial aspect of swarm intelligence. The main obstacles in MAPE research involve making real-time decisions in dynamic environments, efficient task allocation, collision avoidance among multiple agents, planning and tracking prey in unknown environments, and information sharing under communication constraints. This paper presents the Dual-Layer Collaborative Hunting Algorithm Using Virtual Wolf Pack (DLCH-VWP), which utilizes biomimetic principles, specifically leveraging the advantages and hunting strategies of wolf packs, to enhance collaborative efficiency and adaptability in complex environments within MAPE. The algorithm employs a two-tier strategy, with the strategy planning center using biomimetic wolf pack algorithm to manage environment perception, state assessment, prey movement prediction, and inter-robot communication. The local response center treats each wolf as an independently operating sub-pack, utilizing a combination of Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) and the local A-star algorithm to provide each wolf with individual autonomy. This allows for efficient dynamic path planning by determining the path for each wolf based on joint decision-making of the group and individual. Simulation experiments have confirmed the effectiveness and feasibility of this algorithm for collaborative hunting in multi-agent systems, presenting a novel strategy for addressing MAPE challenges.

This paper attempts to approach the interface of a robot from the perspective of virtual *** assistants can also be characterized as the mind of a robot,since they manage communication and action with the rest of the world they exist ***,virtual assistants can also be described as the brain of a robot and they include a Natural Language Processing(NLP)module for conducting communication in their human-robot *** work is focused on inquiring and enhancing the capabilities of this *** problem is that nothing much is revealed about the nature of the human-robot interface of commercial virtual ***,any new attempt of developing such a capability has to start from ***,to include corresponding capabilities to a developing NLP system of a virtual assistant,a method of systemic semantic modelling is proposed and *** this purpose,the paper briefly reviews the evolution of virtual assistants from the first assistant,in the form of a game,to the latest assistant that has significantly elevated their *** there is a reference to the evolution of their services and their continued offerings,as well as future *** paper presents their structure and the technologies used,according to the data provided by the development companies to the public,while an attempt is made to classify virtual assistants,based on their characteristics and ***,a robotic NLP interface is being developed,based on the communicative power of a proposed systemic conceptual model that may enhance the NLP capabilities of virtual assistants,being tested through a small natural language dictionary in Greek.

Aeromagnetic surveys, renowned for their operational flexibility and high efficiency, serve as a crucial technique for measuring the geomagnetic field. However, aeromagnetic surveys are easily affected by magnetic interference from navigation platforms, making the compensation of aeromagnetic interference a crucial step in the measurement process. To address the inadequate consideration of nonlinear magnetic field interference in traditional compensation algorithms, this paper introduces an aeromagnetic compensation approach based on broad learning system. The broad learning system employs an incremental learning mechanism aimed at enhancing the precision of the network alongside the increase in nodes. With each expansion of the network node, computation is streamlined to calculating the pseudo-inverse of the expansion node, eliminating the necessity for retraining the entire network structure. Leveraging the nonlinear fitting characteristics of the broad learning system, this paper improves the accuracy of aeromagnetic interference compensation. Through UAV flight experiments, the broad learning system is compared with methodologies using particle swarm optimization (PSO) and BP neural network. Compared with PSO, training time was reduced by $21.3 \%$ and magnetic interference by $33.6 \%$. Compared with BP neural networks, training time was reduced by $34.9 \%$ and magnetic interference by $28.6 \%$. This paper provides references and ideas for the selection of aeromagnetic interference compensation algorithms.

The metaverse is defined as a three-dimensional virtual-real fusion network focused on social connection. Edge computing can empower the metaverse by providing computing resources to realize real-time motion tracking, visual or auditory rendering and virtual scene dynamic change at the edge of networks. Users enjoy the immersive experience provided by the Metaverse Service Provider (MSP), and interact through digital avatars in the virtual world by requesting metaverse services. In this paper, we formulate the edge computing resources pricing, metaverse service rendering bitrate pricing and request problem in the metaverse. Especially, we model the interactions among edge servers, the MSP and Metaverse Service Users (MSUs) as a hierarchical three-stage Stackelberg game. The problem of joining edge-enabled metaverse services is also studied with the consideration of network externality, including the network effect and congestion effect. Based on the backward induction method, we derive the optimal computing resources pricing of edge servers, rendering bitrate pricing of the MSP, and rendering bitrate requests of MSUs. We also prove the existence and uniqueness of the Stackelberg game equilibrium. Simulation results show that the network effect can bring more positive utilities to entities when the social tie coefficient among MSUs is higher. Besides, all entities in the edge-enabled metaverse are affected negatively by the congestion effect. © 2023 IEEE.

One of the limitations of classical SysML is that it does not provide information on how to model system component's constraints, which can result in individual model solutions for the same elements. To address this issue, we propose utilizing the reference mechanism in SysML to refer to REXS and ECLASS data standards, which can unambiguously define characteristic properties. Environmental factors such as temperature or humidity constraints play a vital role in designing components of mechatronic systems, like transmissions, or electrical and electronic components like sensors and actuators. Mechatronic component's properties may change depending on temperature and humidity and may show degradation. Such information is provided to some extent in the component's classified properties, like ECLASS and/or REXS, the engineering tool to configure gears. Such properties and constraints are further detailed in specification sheets provided by the manufacturer, e.g., by multi-dimensional manufacturer-specific parametric curves which are proposed to be explicitly included in the modeling process as SysML constraints. The proposed approach allows to include additional, not yet standardized environmental effects such as dirt layers in a formalized way. The formalized properties are modeled in parametric diagrams of SysML.
