Recently,Internet of Medical Things(IoMT)has gained considerable attention to provide improved healthcare services to *** earlier diag-nosis of brain tumor(BT)using medical imaging becomes an essential task,auto-mated IoMT and cloud enabled BT diagnosis model can be devised using recent deep learning *** this motivation,this paper introduces a novel IoMT and cloud enabled BT diagnosis model,named *** IoMTC-HDBT model comprises the data acquisition process by the use of IoMT devices which captures the magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)brain images and transmit them to the cloud ***,adaptive windowﬁltering(AWF)based image preprocessing is used to remove *** addition,the cloud server executes the disease diagnosis model which includes the sparrow search algorithm(SSA)with GoogleNet(SSA-GN)*** IoMTC-HDBT model applies functional link neural network(FLNN),which has the ability to detect and classify the MRI brain images as normal or ***ﬁnds useful to generate the reports instantly for patients located in remote *** validation of the IoMTC-HDBT model takes place against BRATS2015 Challenge dataset and the experimental analysis is car-ried out interms of sensitivity,accuracy,and speciﬁ*** experimentation out-come pointed out the betterment of the proposed model with the accuracy of 0.984.

Phenylacetic acid(PAA)is a primary raw material for illegal Methamphetamine(MATM)synthesis under the strong precursor chemicals supervisions of safrole and ***,trace detection of PAA at ultra-low concentration is a strategic technique and an urgent issue in the field of drug *** this paper,trace determination of PAA at sub-nmol-L-1 concentration level is achieved by hydrogen bond adsorption and electrochemical catalysis through the prepared aminated SiO_(2)nanoparticles(SiO_(2)-NH_(2) NPs)and MoS_(2) nanosheets(NSs)modified glassy carbon electrode(GCE).The prepared MoS_(2) NS s/SiO_(2)-NH_(2) NPs modified electrode represents a detecting limit of 0.0989 nmol·L^(-1)and an obvious increasing linear range before the concentration increasement up to 60 nmol·L^(-1)in square wave voltammetry(SWV)responses of *** SWV response of the modified electrode to PAA in the concentration range within 100 nmol·L^(-1)is higher than phenol,acetic acid(HOAc)and benzoic Acid(BEN).This electrochemical method for trace detection of PAA in aqueous solution with desired performance provides a feasible scheme for the detection of other drugs and aromatic precursor chemicals.

As Internet of Things (IoT) technology develops so quickly, security issues with IoT devices have come to light. IoT is an array of intelligent devices connected via a network to provide various services. The amount of data generated by these devices has an impact on how well the current intrusion detection systems (IDS) function. The generated dataset consists of irrelevant features which reduces the performance of IDS, making IoT ecosystem vulnerable to cyberattacks. The researchers have suggested the feature reduction technique as a potential solution to the current problem. The proposed method seeks to reduce the feature count by removing the redundant feature subset. Several machine learning methods have been successfully implemented in this discipline. This study proposed the application of hybrid feature reduction technique. The research combined Convolutional neural network (CNN) and Long short-term memory (LSTM);CNN extracted local features and decreased dimensionality, while LSTM identified long-term relationships in the data. SVM and Random Forest classifiers models were used to classify the chosen feature subset. This study employed the TON_IoT datasets, an up-to-date dataset, to evaluate the model. During data preprocessing, the study applied SMOTETomek data pre-processing technique to address class imbalance in the dataset. With the decreased feature subset, the classification models fared reasonably well;RF had a 98% accuracy rate while SVM had a 91% accuracy rate, showcasing the suggested methodology’s potential for creating efficient IDS. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

The classification of mango leaf diseases is critical for effective disease management and ensuring high-quality yields in mango cultivation. This paper presents a comprehensive study on using deep learning techniques to classify various mango leaf diseases, leveraging convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and hybrid models. A total of 7,524 images were used in our study. These included 4,000 training samples and 3,524 testing samples. The images were split into eight groups, which were powdery mildew, cutting weevil, anthracnose, bacterial canker, sooty mold, gall midge, healthy, and die back. The suggested method starts with feature extraction using VGG19 and MobileNetB1, then classification using both standalone models (ResNet50V2 + EfficientNetB1 and VGG16 + MobileNetB1). We employed data augmentation techniques like random brightness adjustment, rotation, and flipping to enhance the robustness of the model. We conducted hyperparameter tuning using hyperband and Bayesian optimization to optimize the model's performance. Experimental results demonstrate that the hybrid models achieved superior performance, with ResNet50V2 and EfficientNetB1 attaining a perfect accuracy of 100 % on the test set. These findings highlight the potential of deep learning techniques to improve the accuracy and reliability of mango leaf disease diagnosis, contributing significantly to the advancement of precision agriculture. © 2024 IEEE.

One of the fundamental problems of interest for discrete-time linear systems is whether its input sequence may be recovered given its output sequence, a.k.a. the left inversion problem. Many conditions on the state space geometry, dynamics, and spectral structure of a system have been used to characterize the well-posedness of this problem, without assumptions on the inputs. However, certain structural assumptions, such as input sparsity, have been shown to translate to practical gains in the performance of inversion algorithms, surpassing classical guarantees. Establishing necessary and sufficient conditions for left invertibility of systems with sparse inputs is therefore a crucial step toward understanding the performance limits of system inversion under structured input assumptions. In this work, we provide the first necessary and sufficient characterizations of left invertibility for linear systems with sparse inputs, echoing classic characterizations for standard linear systems. The key insight in deriving these results is in establishing the existence of two novel geometric invariants unique to the sparseinput setting, the weakly unobservable and strongly reachable subspace arrangements. By means of a concrete example, we demonstrate the utility of these characterizations. We conclude by discussing extensions and applications of this framework to several related problems in sparse control. © 2024 IEEE.

COVID-19 is a respiratory disease for which reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) is the standard detection method. This study introduces a hybrid deep learning approach to support the diagnosis of respiratory abnormalities, using COVID-19 as a case study. Multiple datasets were utilized, including the COVID-19 Radiography dataset (Kaggle), the SARS-CoV-2 CT-Scan dataset, and proprietary data from the King Faisal Medical Complex. Seven pre-trained deep learning models—VGG16, VGG19, MobileNet, DenseNet201, ResNet50, InceptionResNetV2, and InceptionV3—were evaluated for their performance. InceptionResNetV2 and InceptionV3 achieved perfect accuracy (100%) on the COVID-19 Radiography dataset and 99% accuracy on the SARS-CoV-2 CT-Scan dataset. Additionally, augmentation techniques were explored to improve model robustness. This research contributes significantly to medical imaging, offering practical insights for advancing diagnostic and monitoring practices for COVID-19 and other respiratory conditions. ©2024 IEEE.

Urban heat island (UHI) effects, especially in highly urbanised areas, and greenhouse gas emissions from human activity are two elements that accelerate global climate change (GCC). Sustainable city planning and modification may benefit from the quantification of the surface UHI (SUHI) effect utilising land surface temperature (LST), local climate zones (LCZ), and deep learning methods like convolutional neural networks (CNN) and pix2pix. The findings show that socioeconomic variables account for 12–20% of variability in UHI intensity. In general, the contribution rate of urban economic scale is higher than that of population and industrial structure variables. The increase in urban economic expansion increased summertime heat discomfort. This research propose novel method in socioeconomic analysis based on urban heat pattern analysis with public healthcare system using decision-making with DL (deep learning) model. Input is collected as urban heat pattern dataset and processed for noise removal and normalisation. This data has been features are extracted and classified using convolutional fuzzy Q-Gaussian neural network and variational K-C-means regressive learning. The simulation analysis has been carried out based on training accuracy, average precision, recall, and F-measure. The proposed model attained average precision was 94%, recall was 90%, training accuracy was 97%, and F1-score was 92%. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

This work presents ReSync, a Riemannian subgradient-based algorithm for solving the robust rotation synchronization problem, which arises in various engineering applications. ReSync solves a least-unsquared minimization formulation over the rotation group, which is nonsmooth and nonconvex, and aims at recovering the underlying rotations directly. We provide strong theoretical guarantees for ReSync under the random corruption setting. Specifically, we first show that the initialization procedure of ReSync yields a proper initial point that lies in a local region around the ground-truth rotations. We next establish the weak sharpness property of the aforementioned formulation and then utilize this property to derive the local linear convergence of ReSync to the ground-truth rotations. By combining these guarantees, we conclude that ReSync converges linearly to the ground-truth rotations under appropriate conditions.
