This paper presents a prescribed-time tracking control scheme for robotic systems with unknown dynamics. One salient feature is that the robotic systems can achieve prescribed-time stability with the prescribed transient performance, which is different with the traditional work that achieves uniformly ultimately bounded (UUB) and/or asymptotic stability. To realize this purpose, the prescribed performance dynamics (PPD) instead of the traditional prescribed performance function (PPF) is suggested, by which both the transient and steady-state tracking performance can be guaranteed within a specified region in-priori. To avoid using the function approximators (i.e., neural networks (NNs), fuzzy logic systems (FLSs)), an approximation-free-based prescribed-time controller is established with the inertial matrix of robotic systems and the finite-time function merely, which can not only address the system unknown uncertainties but also regulate the control error to zero in a prescribed-time. Furthermore, the Lyapunov-based theoretical analysis is conducted to prove the prescribed-time stability of the closed-loop system. Finally, comparative numerical simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Three-dimensional magnetic recording (3DMR) based on energy-assisted recording techniques by either heat or microwave is a leading storage solution. Separation and detection are impeded by inter-symbol interference, inter-track interference, and inter-layer interference, especially when using traditional tunneling magnetoresistive (TMR) readers. To support a multi-layer magnetic recording system at an recording areal density of 4 Tbits/inch 2 on a dual-layer recording medium, we propose a neural network estimator to reconstruct the top-layer read response signal from the decision feedback of a Viterbi detector. Then we separate the bottom-layer signal by subtracting the reconstructed top-layer signal from the mixed readback signal. For the critical bound of channel bit error rate (BER), our method gains over 7 dB than a multiple-output detecting system.

Any study on dataset and inadequate representation are featured in the conventional data mining process. Consequently, data mining findings reveal high chances of challenges and huge root-mean-square approximation errors besides long utilization. The proposed algorithm for associating distribution patterns in streams of medical data is based on density calculations. The distance approach will be utilized to identify any orphaned or questionable data within the data stream, and the gathering of medical data will be used to achieve the aim. data stream duplicates are compiled by sector match quality, and both the out-of-the-ordinary and the redundant data are eventually eliminated. The density of the information stream is then calculated based on histogram calculations. This investigates the flow of medical information from the viewpoints of concentration and dispersion, as well as the physical characteristics of information distribution, in combination with the results of data density estimate. The model is then built upon a neural network composite, the data distribution parameters in the clustering layer of the model are entered, and in-depth testing is carried out via the neural B.P. network (Back Propagation) on the mining layer of the model. Temporarily, all laws under the grouping of the hidden layer operation value besides the resulting output value are derived, and all rules under the grouping of the hidden layer value besides the conforming contribution value in the medical information stream pattern. The new findings show a curve of contour contiguous to the true curve of the likelihood density, a fair range of medical data dispersion and high medical data consistency, a lower probability of data redundancy, a low RMSEA for mining, a lower time for data recovery.

In this paper, a novel paradigm of mobile edgequantum computing (MEQC) is proposed, which brings quantum computing capacities to mobile edge networks that are closer to mobile users (i.e., edge devices). First, we propose an MEQC system model where mobile users can offload computational tasks to scalable quantum computers via edge servers with cryogenic components and fault-tolerant schemes. Second, we show that it is NP-hard to obtain a centralized solution to the partial offloading problem in MEQC in terms of the optimal latency and energy cost of classical and quantum computing. Third, we propose a multi-agent hybrid discrete-continuous deep reinforcement learning using proximal policy optimization to learn the long-term sustainable offloading strategy without prior knowledge. Finally, experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can reduce at least 30% of the cost compared with the existing baseline solutions under different system settings.

One approach considered promising for advancing the development of magnetic data storage systems is three-dimensional magnetic recording. But when the recording density rises, media noise becomes a bigger problem for magnetic recording technology. Machine learning algorithms have been proven to outperform traditional numerical techniques in solving the magnetic recording signal quality issue. We compared the detection bit error rate (BER) performance of a per-layer shallow neural network equalizer and a quaternary neural network equalizer for two recording layers. For a two-layer recording density of 4 Tb/in 2 , the results show that the combined quaternary neural network equalization and detection scheme outperforms the per-layer shallow neural network equalization and one-dimensional Viterbi detection and outperforms the conventional two-dimensional generalized partial response equalizer combined with a quaternary Viterbi detector, especially for the bottom layer.

Event extraction (EE) aims to detect event triggers and extract their corresponding arguments. In more realistic situations, events often come in a more complicated way in which multiple events may appear simultaneously and arguments may have overlaps in a sentence. For languages without delimiters like Chinese, most existing EE models are token-level and thus may have difficulties in solving multi-event or overlapping problems. What's more, they are prone to overlook the word-level or span-level features and the rich interactions between triggers and arguments. To tackle these problems, we propose a span-based model for multiple and overlapped EE with trigger-argument interaction enhanced span representations. Experimental results show that our approach outperforms other mainstream baselines on the DuEE dataset.

The integration of beyond diagonal reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (BD-RIS) with non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) in the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) networks presents the transformative potential for 6G vehicular communications, promising unprecedented gains in energy and spectral efficiency. However, existing research fails to address the joint optimization of BD-RIS configuration, NOMA power allocation, and dynamic IoV association-a critical oversight given their inherent interdependence in practical deployment scenarios. Current literature predominantly examines these components in isolation, with conventional RIS architectures and orthogonal multiple access schemes, leading to suboptimal performance in high-mobility vehicular environments. This work bridges this gap by proposing a novel hybrid optimization framework for NOMA-aided BD-RIS assisted IoV networks. The proposed framework simultaneously optimizes the IoV association with the base station (BS), NOMA power allocation, and BD-RIS phase shift design to maximize the energy efficiency of the system while ensuring the minimum signal-to-interference plus noise ratios (SINRs) of IoVs. The proposed framework is formulated as non-linear optimization due to joint decision variables and rate expressions of IoVs, resulting in an NP-hard problem where achieving a joint optimal solution is computationally complex. To handle this complexity, the original joint formulation is decomposed into three subproblems: IoV association with BS, BS power allocation, and BD-RIS phase shift design. An efficient iterative solution is then developed through the synergistic combination of deep reinforcement learning, first-order Taylor expansion, and manifold optimization methods. For comprehensive evaluation, we introduce a NOMA-aided conventional RIS assisted IoV framework as a benchmark. The HVAC system, energy storage building, distributed power supply, and other equipment are integrated into the scheduling algorithm, which is aimed at reducing household electricity consumption. It is also assumed that users can provide energy to the grid according to their own conditions. Taking electricity cost and comfort level as optimization targets, a home energy optimization control model for the coordinated management of hybrid energy sources is built. A smart scheduling mechanism based on the improved adaptive particle swarm optimization approach is proposed in order to derive the best time intervals for electric appliances, necessary power for the control of the room temperature for every time frame, and power for charging and discharging of the storage battery at various moments. Simulation results show that through the incorporation of distributed photovoltaic power generation, backup storage by battery, and home energy optimization control, the system efficiently balances between user comfort and electricity consumption. This offers great technical support to the development of home energy management systems. By using time-of-use electricity price for energy acquisition and supply, the optimization control goal is minimizing both power use and cost as well as preserving comfort levels. The hybrid energy management's proposed home energy optimization control model uses an adaptive particle swarm optimization algorithm to find the optimal operation schedules of the electrical appliances, the required power for temperature control in a room, and the charge/discharge power level of the storage battery at each time interval. As per the optimization principle, the proposed dynamic programming algorithm converts the multi-stage problem into a sequence of single-stage problems and solves them separately. A recommender system(RS)relying on latent factor analysis usually adopts stochastic gradient descent(SGD)as its learning ***,owing to its serial mechanism,an SGD algorithm suffers from low efficiency and scalability when handling large-scale industrial *** at addressing this issue,this study proposes a momentum-incorporated parallel stochastic gradient descent(MPSGD)algorithm,whose main idea is two-fold:a)implementing parallelization via a novel datasplitting strategy,and b)accelerating convergence rate by integrating momentum effects into its training *** it,an MPSGD-based latent factor(MLF)model is achieved,which is capable of performing efficient and high-quality *** results on four high-dimensional and sparse matrices generated by industrial RS indicate that owing to an MPSGD algorithm,an MLF model outperforms the existing state-of-the-art ones in both computational efficiency and scalability.

With recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, unmanned vehicle swarms have received great attention from both academia and industry due to their potential to provide services that are difficult and dangerous to perform by humans. However, learning and coordinating movements and actions for a large number of unmanned vehicles in complex and dynamic environments introduce significant challenges to conventional AI methods. Generative AI (GAI), with its capabilities in complex data feature extraction, transformation, and enhancement, offers great potential in solving these challenges of unmanned vehicle swarms. For that, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive survey on applications, challenges, and opportunities of GAI in unmanned vehicle swarms. Specifically, we first present an overview of unmanned vehicles and unmanned vehicle swarms as well as their use cases and existing issues. Then, an in-depth background of various GAI techniques together with their capabilities in enhancing unmanned vehicle swarms are provided. After that, we present a comprehensive review on the applications and challenges of GAI in unmanned vehicle swarms with various insights and discussions.
