A publicly verifiable key sharing mechanism based on threshold key sharing is provided to explore the security of users' private keys on the blockchain. Participating nodes check the key fragment after receiving it, effectively preventing it from being abused. The crucial sections of the nodes that participated in the critical splicing are made public during the critical recovery stage to prevent them from performing harmful things during the critical recovery stage. Add IDs to the nodes that participated in the crucial splicing during the key distribution stage;a dynamic threshold system is intended to track and update the status of malicious nodes in real time. When the node that possesses the crucial component fails, the owner of the critical component and the main node relocate a key element to the new participating nodes. To safeguard sensitive information. The experimental results show that this system has a key recovery rate of 80% and threshold qualities such as traceability, enforceability, and recoverability. © 2024 Copyright for this paper by its authors.

Analyzing the ever-increasing volume of posts on social media sites, such as Facebook and Twitter requires improved information processing methods for profiling authorship. Document classification is central to this task, but the performance of traditional supervised classifiers has degraded as the volume of social media has increased. This paper addresses this problem in the context of gender detection through ensemble classification that employs multi-model deep learning architectures to generate specialized understanding from different feature spaces. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In the evolving landscape of cloud computing, federated cloud infrastructures present unique challenges and opportunities for resource and application monitoring. Monitoring the diverse array of cloud resources and applications within a federated cloud environment is crucial for delivering consistent Quality of Service (QoS) and continuous oversight across various cloud applications and infrastructure. Despite the various successes documented in the literature on multi-cloud monitoring, existing frameworks have not fully explored or provided enough insights into centralized monitoring of resources, applications, and network devices in a federated cloud environment. This paper introduces FedMonitor, an implementation architecture designed to enhance the monitoring and notification capabilities in federated cloud environments by building on the theoretical ideals in our earlier work (i.e. FEDARGOS-V1). FedMonitor leverages Prometheus and Grafana to crawl, manage and visualize metrics from diverse software services, hardware resources, and network devices within a federated cloud environment. The results demonstrate hat FedMonitor improves the effectiveness of resource and application monitoring in federated cloud environments.

The escalating dependence on artificial intelligence (AI) in energy and electrical power dependability systems has garnered significant interest in both academic and industrial circles. This study provides a bibliometric examination of artificial intelligence (AI) applications in the field of electrical dependability, covering the time frame from 2002 to 2023. The main aim of this study is to examine the patterns of publication, notable authors, institutions, and funding organizations that contribute to research in artificial intelligence for electrical dependability. A further objective of the endeavor is to chart the co-authorship networks, keyword frequencies, and citation trends in the field. Extraction of data from the Scopus database was carried out using an extensive search approach, and subsequently, network visualization was performed using VOSviewer. The findings indicated a substantial rise in research productivity throughout the last ten years, accompanied with a distinguishable expansion in joint research endeavors. China has established itself as the foremost nation in research on electrical reliability powered by artificial intelligence, with the United States and India following closely after. In addition, the National Natural science Foundation of China was recognized as the most productive and influential funding institution. The thematic analysis revealed many prominent subjects in the sector, such as predictive maintenance, problem detection, and energy consumption optimization via artificial intelligence. The paper offers invaluable insights into the present research landscape and emphasizes developing trends, providing a clear plan for future research objectives in the fields of artificial intelligence and electrical dependability.

In this paper, we propose a constructive interference precoding (CIP) enabled secure intelligent reflecting surface (IRS)-non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) scheme, lever-aging both the inter-user interference and artificial noise to boost the legitimate transmission of far user, while inducing the eavesdropper to decode the deceptive information. Based on this CIP-NOMA scheme, we minimize the transmit power under the perfect channel state information (CSI), subject to the CIP constraint for the far user and eavesdropper, while guaranteeing the quality of service and successive interference cancellation for the near user and the IRS unit modulus constraint. To handle this non-convex problem, an alternating optimization algorithm is proposed. Specifically, by alternately optimizing the precoding vectors at the base station and the IRS reflecting matrix via the successive convex approximation and the penalty-based algorithm, respectively, a reliable solution can be obtained. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme can achieve better security performance with less energy consumption compared to the conventional NOMA.

This article introduces a novel lightweight framework using ambient backscattering communications to counter eavesdroppers. In particular, our framework divides an original message into two parts. The first part, i.e., the active-transmit message, is transmitted by the transmitter using conventional RF signals. Simultaneously, the second part, i.e., the backscatter message, is transmitted by an ambient backscatter tag that backscatters upon the active signals emitted by the transmitter. Notably, the backscatter tag does not generate its own signal, making it difficult for an eavesdropper to detect the backscattered signals unless they have prior knowledge of the system. Here, we assume that without decoding/knowing the backscatter message, the eavesdropper is unable to decode the original message. Even in scenarios where the eavesdropper can capture both messages, reconstructing the original message is a complex task without understanding the intricacies of the message-splitting mechanism. A challenge in our proposed framework is to effectively decode the backscattered signals at the receiver, often accomplished using the maximum likelihood (MLK) approach. However, such a method may require a complex mathematical model together with perfect channel state information (CSI). To address this issue, we develop a novel deep meta-learning-based signal detector that can not only effectively decode the weak backscattered signals without requiring perfect CSI but also quickly adapt to a new wireless environment with very little knowledge. Simulation results show that our proposed learning approach, without requiring perfect CSI and complex mathematical model, can achieve a bit error ratio close to that of the MLK-based approach. They also clearly show the efficiency of the proposed approach in dealing with eavesdropping attacks and the lack of training data for deep learning models in practical scenarios. In the pursuit of enhancing and optimizing the efficiency of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) systems, the utilization of linear controllers for DC/DC converters is a prevalent practice. However, the use of these classical controllers introduces the issue of slow response time, under/overshooting, and highly oscillatory dynamics during system responses. In light of these drawbacks, this paper presents the design and assessment of a non-linear approach based on a Sliding Mode Control with Exponential Reaching Law (SMC-ERL) as a viable solution. The stability of the closed-loop control is ensured through the Lyapunov approach. The efficacy of the proposed control methodology has been assessed via comparative analysis within the Matlab/Simulink environment, encompassing two distinct scenarios, response to dynamic variations in current references and load fluctuations. The obtained results prove that the designed SMC-ERL achieves the fastest convergence with a reduction of steady-state error compared to the PI controller allowing for robust and precise control.

Various deep learning techniques have been employed to diagnose dental caries using X-ray images. In this study, we utilized deep learning models, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and transfer learning models such as Visual Geometry Group (VGG16), VGG19, ResNet50, and Inception V3, to identify dental caries in periapical radiographs. The traditional CNN model comprises three sets of 2D convolutional layers, followed by an activation layer, a max-pooling layer, a flatten layer, one dense layer, another activation layer, dropout, another dense layer, and a final activation layer. For the VGG models, ResNet50, and Inception V3, the top convolutional layers were frozen to prevent retraining of the model, with only the last layers trained to produce the required output. The accuracy achieved by CNN, VGG16, VGG19, ResNet50, and Inception V3 was 90%, 96%, 73%, 70%, and 73%, respectively. VGG16 exhibited the highest accuracy among the models. Hyperparameters were carefully selected using a grid search approach, and the results were validated using the Shuffle-Split-Cross (SSC) validation method. These findings underscore the effectiveness of transfer learning in analyzing medical images, particularly in the diagnosis of dental caries. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.
