Facing the 4.0 industrial revolution, it is necessary to carry out reforms and innovations related to national education. Reforms and innovations in the implementation of components of the education system involve changes in curriculum, graduate competencies and assessments, teacher qualifications, funding, facilities and infrastructure, decentralization and educational autonomy. Bali as a world tourist destination must be maintained and passed on to the younger generation. The younger generation can use information technology to help promote Balinese culture. Bali has a lot of local wisdom that can be implemented in the tourism sector. Therefore to promote those local wisdoms, a module that can be accessed through e-learning is developed to help students develop a cultural tourism package based on local wisdom to be promoted online. The modules developed have been tested by content and media experts, which can be used independently by students. Modules can be accessed online at e-learning and they are ready to use instructions for students so they can work on assignments and projects independently. Modules containing this theory and practice are for making brochures, tour packages, videos, and websites, all of which are connected to promote tourism based on local Balinese wisdom. © 2020 IOP Publishing Ltd. Traditional education methods, having said, lack motivation and self-regulation. The 5G and 6G technology have improved education; one such is gamification. Gamification applies gaming mechanisms to non-gaming platforms. Sadly, the use of gamification is still limited, especially in Malaysia. Gamification affects user experience, so it is intriguing to see if it can solve education problems. A study was conducted to identify elements of gamification. A systematic literature review (SLR) determines the gamification elements. Results show the list of identified 30 elements as guidelines for developing gamified teaching in Computer Science Courses. Thus, it is hoped that the improved teaching and learning process can affect students' performance.

This article describes the experience of supporting scholars using an e-learning platform. We use Moodle as an interactive existential tool to engage students and motivate them to complete individual assignments. Many universities worldwide are using e-learning platforms, but this is the first time they are using them, and it is a great learning/teaching experience. This paper should be easy to read and understand by showing the importance of using the university’s e-learning platform. It is demonstrated by the behavior of most commonly accessing the homework section and uploading assignments (sending homework) completed after an aggregate of 6.81 views of assignments. Another finding is the number of students who choose to alter the randomly generated passwords sent to them until they enroll in the course. Only 7.5 out of every 1,000 accounts had their passwords changed. Novelty This was done since most students use computers and save their passwords in their browsers, which allows them to log in immediately the following time they use them. There isn’t a single type of assignment suitable for all students. Students may be asked to do some activities independently in specific instances. It’s done after viewing a demonstration, and it’s also done to spark creativity. We do not receive help despite the pipeline. In some circumstances, pupils are expected to complete work alone. It’s done after witnessing a demo, and it’s also done to promote creativity. We don’t get any help despite the pipeline. We solely accept online lesson links

Monitoring the quality of river water is of fundamental importance and needs to be taken into consideration when it comes to the research into the hydrological field. In this context, the concentration of the dissolved oxygen (DO) is one of the most significant indicators of the quality of river water. The current study aimed to estimate the minimum, maximum, and mean DO concentrations (DO min, DO max, DO mean) at a gauging station located on Tualatin River, United States. To that end, four machine learning models, such as support vector regression (SVR), multi-layer perceptron (MLP), random forest (RF), and gradient boosting (GB) were established. Root mean square error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE), coefficient of correlation (R), and Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency (NSE) metrics were employed to better assess the accuracies of these models. The modeling results demonstrated that the SVR and MLP surpassed the RF and GB models. Despite this, the SVR was concluded to be the best-performing method when used to estimate the DO min, DO max, and DO mean. The best error statistics in the testing phase were related to the SVR model with full (four) inputs to estimate DO mean concentration (RMSE = 0.663 mg/l, MAE = 0.508 mg/l, R = 0.945, NSE = 0.875). Finally, the explainability of the superior models (i.e. SVR models) was conducted using SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) for the first time to estimate DO concentration. In fact, evaluating the explainability of machine learning models can provide useful information about the impact of each of the input estimators used in the procedure of models development. It was concluded that the specific conductance (SC) and followed by water temperature (WT) could provide the most contributions for estimating the DO min, DO max, and DO mean concentrations. © 2024 The Author(s). This study was aimed to develop a library information storage system through the blockchain technology to solve data security problems and reduce tools used to work with conventional systems such as security software, data collection programs, etc. Therefore, the library information storage systems have been developed by using open source technology. The research data were recorded in accordance with the standards of the bibliography of the MARC 21 format complying with the posting rules of the AACR2R in order to test and compare the performance of The Proof of Work ( PoW) and IPFS. The result revealed that the information storage system development could upload and download pdf files perfectly. Moreover, as the efficiency of proof of work (PoW) with IPFS were compared with each other, the upload and download speed in proof of work (PoW) was found to be faster than uploading information by PoW.

This study explores customers' mobile banking acceptance behaviour using the technology acceptance model (TAM) integrated with the variables of perceived risk and trust. Research employed a sample of 403 customers of one of the largest joint stock commercial banks in Vietnam. Results show that the integrated model explains more than 76% of the variability of intention to use mobile banking. The results also show that perceived risk is negatively related to trust, perceived usefulness and intention to use mobile banking. Trust is positively associated with perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and intention to use mobile banking. Perceived ease of use is positively associated with perceived usefulness and intention to use mobile banking. Perceived usefulness is positively related to intention to use mobile banking. Implications are drawn to enhance intention to use mobile banking. Copyright © 2021 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

In this work, we present a lossless compression technique based on the use of the A-law companding algorithm, associated with the inter-leads correlation to compress ECG signals by reducing the dynamic range and number of encoded signals. Experiments are conducted on the selected records from the PTB Arrhythmia Database, and the performance is evaluated using the compression ratio (CR) and the percent root mean square difference (PRD). the results show that this technique efficiently retains pathological informations, whether for patients in normal condition or with arrhythmias, a total compression ratio CR of 4.92 is achieved with a PRD of 0 %.

The covid-19 pandemic and Economic Policy Uncertainty resulting from the shutdown of production, withdrawal of investments, enforcement of lockdowns and quarantines globally, have been directly affecting stock markets worldwide. This study is thus an attempt to analyse the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on stock market behaviour in major affected economies. Moreover, the time frame was extended by using current data which investigate the impact of the virus during the boom and the blast phase in the country's most hit by the pandemic crisis such as China, Italy, UK and US. The frequency of the data is daily, and it dates from 3 January 2020 up to 10 February 2021. The considered time framework will give a deep insight into how stock markets behave in the case of an exogenous shock. The Dickey-Fuller Augmented Unit Root Test indicates that all the variables are stationary at first difference, which is one of the main conditions to have robust result, and the ARCH-LM test for the heteroskedasticity of the residuals, which show that all the probability values are significant, rejecting the null hypothesis of no ARCH effect. Based on the results of GARCH (1,1), we conclude that the change in stock markets volatility is positive and significant in China, Italy, UK and USA. This suggests that the impacts of COVID-19 outbreak and economic policy uncertainty on Stock Markets are a significant and Homogeneous across the studied countries, and the shock on FTSE Italia All Share has the longest time to vanish which makes it the riskiest to invest during this period, while the shock on SP500 USA has the shortest time to disappear meaning that it is safest Stock Market in this study. These findings have significant implications for policymakers, institutional and individual investors and Financial Markets analysts. © 2022 IET Conference Proceedings. All rights reserved.

Game development in 3D is mostly done by characters, items and the environment. Game items such as character weapons modeled in 3D will be the attraction of a game. In this paper, spear motion as a game items is modeled in 3D. Nonlinear Equations Six Degrees of Freedom (6 DOF) are used for mathematical models of spear motion. The parameters studied in the motion model are: geometry, mass and aerodynamics. Spear aerodynamic parameters were analyzed using the Datcom method. Numerical simulation of mathematical models of spear motion with variations in the initial velocity of the throw and the direction of the throw. From the results of numerical simulation, the maximum range R = 131.7 m at the initial velocity V0 = 40 m/s, the direction of throw (angle θ0 = 35 deg, angle φ0 = 10 deg, ψ0 = 0 deg). And the maximum height Hmax = 12.18 m is achieved at the initial velocity V0 = 20 m/s, direction of throw (angle θ0 = 35 deg, angle φ0 = 40 deg, angle ψ0 = 0 deg). © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) are integral components of e-healthcare systems, responsible for monitoring patients' physiological states through intelligent implantable or wearable sensor nodes. These nodes collect medical data, which is then transmitted to remote healthcare facilities for thorough evaluation. Securing medical data within WBANs is paramount due to its central role in preserving patient privacy and confidentiality. Notably, Electrocardiogram (ECG) signals have recently gained prominence as pivotal elements within diverse security frameworks. Incorporating ECG signals strategically enhances the security and reliability of WBANs and broader e-healthcare systems, instilling greater trustworthiness. This survey article provides an in-depth exploration of contemporary ECG-based security schemes, adding to the scholarly discourse. The imperative to categorize these security paradigms revolves around their use of ECG signals. This categorization identifies three key domains: the first involves schemes that utilize ECG signals for cryptographic operations, encompassing key generation, agreement, management, and authentication. The second category employs steganography-based techniques, using ECG signals to conceal patients' sensitive medical data. The third category focuses on enhancing ECG signal security during data transmission. Each category is meticulously elaborated, detailing architectural foundations, notable contributions, and intrinsic security services. Furthermore, each section presents a comprehensive overview of the attributes characterizing ECG-based security frameworks. This includes insights into employed datasets, simulation environments, evaluation metrics, and inherent advantages and limitations. Expanding on this, a thorough analysis of distinctive attributes underpinning these security frameworks concludes by shedding light on potential directions for future research. © 2023 Elsevier Inc.
