Sustainable energy transition has brought the attention towards microalgae utilization as potential feedstock due to its tremendous capabilities over its predecessors for generating more energy with reduced carbon footprint. However, the commercialization of microalgae feedstock remains debatable due to the various factors and considerations taken into scaling-up the conventional microalgal upstream processes. This review provides a state-of-the-art assessment over the recent developments of available and existing microalgal upstream cultivation systems catered for maximum biomass production. The key growth parameters and main cultivation modes necessary for optimized microalgal growth conditions along with the fundamental aspects were also reviewed and evaluated comprehensively. In addition, the advancements and strategies towards potential scale-up of the microalgal cultivation technologies were highlighted to provide insights for further development into the upstream processes aimed at sustainable circular bioeconomy. © 2023 Elsevier Ltd

Material requirement planning is an essential role of a manufacturing business. Manufacturers need to find an effective way to manage material planning among the changes. This research is designed to create an integrated model of time series purchasing forecasting model and customer segmentation model in electrical equipment procurement for risk assessment and prescriptive model building. The methods used for forecasting are compared between Gradient Boosted Tree (GBT), Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Decision Trees (DT) while the K-Means Clustering is selected to segment customers optimally. Henceforth, customers can be classified into three groups;Good, Moderate and Normal. The results of both methods are then used to generate a risk assessment matrix. Finally, the researcher analyze with the prescriptive analytics driven by the evolutionary optimization method to create a strategy and allocate parts which align to customer behaviour and according to the company policy. © 2018 Mahasarakham University, faculty of Informatics.

Retail Sukuk is a product of State Sharia Securities (Sukuk) issued by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in this case the Ministry of Finance and sold to individuals or individuals of Indonesian Citizens through Selling Agents in the domestic Primary Market. This research contributes to the government and the Bank to be able to do the maximum promotion for the next sukuk issuance. The data used is data from the Ministry of Finance. These data are sukuk sales data with series 002-010 based on regional groups. The algorithm used in this study is Artificial Neural Network with Backpropogation method. Variabel masukan yang digunakan adalah kelompok wilayah bagian barat selain Jakarta (X1), kelompok Jakarta (X2), kelompok Indonesia Bagian Tengah(X3), dan kelompok Indonesia Bagian Timur (X4) dengan model arsitektur pelatihan dan pengujian sebanyak 4 arsitektur yakni 4-2-1, 4-3-1, 4-2-3-1 dan 4-3-2-1. The best architectural model is 4-3-1 with epoch 266, MSE 0.009918 and 100% accuracy rate. From this model, predictions of retail country sukuk will be made by region.

We will use the visualized knowledge to support nursing education. Therefore, we asked 19 clinical nurses to practice a blood withdrawal technique using simulator models of four types for blood veins with different difficulty levels. In this study, to analyze nurses' reflection, we interviewed what the nurses had thought on the factors determining success and failure in drawing blood. Based on the results, we qualitatively analyzed their state of thinking in practicing the technique.

The adoption of e-wallet service is on the rise among Indonesian customers. People use e-wallet because it is convenient, more secured, and offers advantages over physical cash. In line with the growth of e-wallet adoption, the number of e-wallet services in Indonesia has increased to more than 50 providers in 2020. This situation leads to a competitive market in e-wallet service. This study examines key factors affecting customer satisfaction and continuance intention to use e-wallet services and applications based on the integration of Diffusion of Innovations (DOI) theory, technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and Expectation-Confirmation Theory (ECT). The data collected from 663 participants were analyzed based on structural equation modeling partial least square. The results show that confirmation, perceived ease of use, compatibility, and trialability have positive impacts on customer satisfaction, and perceived usefulness, satisfaction, and habit contribute to continuance intention on e-wallet. In addition, customers prioritize security over ease of use when using e-wallet and consider it part of e-wallet usefulness. Based on findings, this study recommends strategies to maintain customer’s satisfaction and to increase continuance intention, such as security prioritization on e-wallet, a customized promotion for each customer, application update based on customer’s feedbacks, and market expansion to include small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Public health on social media: Using Instagram posts for investigating dengue hemorrhagic fever in Indonesia

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), an acute capillary leak syndrome caused by dengue virus, is one of the major public health problems in Indonesia. Several major DHF outbreaks have occurred, and the incidence rate has increased from year to year. The increasing use of social media for health-related activities and the geolocation social media data can be leveraged to enhance the current surveillance system for controlling communicable diseases, including DHF. This study explores Instagram, one of the most popular social media in Indonesia, to analyze posts about DHF toward improving the surveillance system. We extract Instagram posts in 2017 - 2018 with geolocation and date-time value, that contained one or more DHF keywords in Indonesian language (i.e., demam berdarah dengue, demam berdarah, dengue, Aides aegypti, and fogging), resulting in 665 posts in dataset 2017 and 976 in dataset 2018. The preprocessing of the dataset includes tokenization, word normalization, stop word removal, stemming, and building the term-document matrix. The training dataset is labeled into news, education and information, and other classes, and the K- nearest neighbors (KNN) is applied to classify the DHF posts. The accuracy of the KNN classifier is 71% for the 2017 dataset and 77% for the 2018 dataset. For the deployment, we perform spatial analysis and compare the results with the actual DHF cases from the Ministry of Health of Indonesia. The spatial analysis results report that 17 provinces reveal similar changes between the number of DHF posts on Instagram and the number of actual cases from 2017 to 2018, while 17 other provinces reveal the opposing changes. The results and findings of this study show that Instagram posts may contribute to enhance the current surveillance system. For example, the frequency of Instagram posts and its sharp increase may indicate unusual events about the DHF situation in a specific province.

The increase in cyber-attacks forced public institutions to design computer security mechanisms to prevent damage to equipment or loss of information, for private use. The objective is to present a security prototype that allows determining critical information and improves the management of a public organization. The deductive method and exploratory research were used. The result was a mixed information control model, a mixed security architecture with mechanisms that comprehensively protect the information, verifying the identity and correlating the risks produced with the application of Blockchain technology, the Magerit and Octave methodology, it was also It is possible to correlate the risks of the links and the data, applying an analysis to give an immediate response. It was concluded that the hybrid architecture allowed to verify the identity and correlate the risks, Blockchain provided control against malicious attacks, together with Magerit that made use of safeguards and Octave analyzed the threats to the security of the assets, used in public management.

The problems to optimize the resources of information and communication technologies in a public company in Ecuador are evident, it is necessary to improve the management of the use of ICT to provide services effectively and efficiently to users. The objective of this research is to analyze the appropriate information technology parameters to optimize management in a public company. The deductive method and exploratory research were used to analyze the information. It turned out that the implementation of the architecture integrated by COBIT and ITIL are options to establish the conditions to generate spaces for communicability, generate common benefits, improve public management, use of technological resources and reduce costs. It was concluded that the use of the COBIT and ITIL models are alternatives to improve the management of public companies, optimize the quality of services, generate trust in users, reduce risks in projects, improve company administration and reduce costs.

The occupational standard is a benchmark for developing the workforce skills of citizens to meet the industrial requirements. This standard is normally developed from the industry section according to the real activities taking place in the workplace. Generally, it is developed by utilized Functional Analysis to construct a list of competencies for each occupation. However, it becomes a complex task for the large-scale industry, which consists of a large number of occupations. The complication and time consumption are significant issues associated with the incomplete information. To overcome these problems, an improved technique by utilizing Functional Analysis with DACUM is proposed. The experiment result shows that the proposed technique can provide the better result of the occupational standard than that of the occupational standard by using only Functional Analysis. Furthermore, it is a suitable tool for analyzing a large scale industry as well as giving a clear picture of occupations to derive the competencies. © 2018 IEEE.

Recently, smart city is a popular discussion. In Indonesia, some cities have been implemented to follow Government information Communication and technology (ICT) development program. One of smart city domain is society and it has transportation as the component. One of the approaches to encounter the urban complexities are developed public transportation. As case study, Purwokerto and Purbalingga has been implemented Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) as new public transportation. The concept is similar with others BRT. Operational of BRT shall be supported by society to guarantee the sustainability. As information, both cities are developing cities that will implement smart city design and society become critical element to develop city to be planned smart city. This study measures the readiness of both cities initiative to implement smart city concept, specifically at transportation component through BRT Purwokerto-Purbalingga operation. The used methods are quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quantitative analysis is using statistical method to find correlation between socioeconomic or demographics and BRT ridership perceptions. The result is there is significantly difference BRT perception as reliable transportation for residences and routines of BRT use. Moreover, there is statistically difference between perception of BRT as alternative mass transportation with ridership residence and gender. As smart city initiative measurement using qualitative methods, supported smart city in BRT operation gain readiness of ICT, governance and human or society. By this finding, BRT operation shall improve governance and ICT enablers to come up with smart city initiative.
