Live Streaming Contents Influencing Game Playing Behavior Among Thailand Gamers

This paper studies online game engagement in Thailand gaming communities. ‘Planned Behavior’ is the theory used in this study and it explains factors in order to determine the sustainability of the online gaming business. The theoretical research model of the paper focuses on flow experience, human-computer interaction, social interaction, and perceived enjoyment. A quantitative method has been used to measure the implications and data was collected from 800 participants’ online gamer via streaming tournament. The key findings show that the conveyed player attitudes and the flow experience have a positive influence on players’ continued intention to play an online game via Live-streaming. Hence Live-streaming is also an online game community connector and can be used as an indicator on the engagement of a sustainable game industry. © 2023 River Publishers.

Overall Success Factors Affecting the Performances of Hybrid Cloud ERP: A Case Study of Automobile Industries in Thailand

The hybrid cloud ERP system is widely used in automobile companies in Thailand. It is a popular and effective strategic tool that aids in boosting organization’s competitiveness. However, because of their complexity, high risk, high resource requirements, and high investment costs, ERP projects still have a significant failure rate. It is widely acknowledged by academics and practitioners alike to be an extremely challenging endeavour. This study proposes a conceptual paradigm for postmodern ERP implementation across the entire life cycle. Mixed methodologies for this model’s theoretical development included case study observation, literature review, semi-structured interviews with ten IT experts and ERP consultants, and online questionnaires. Based on information gathered from 455 system users from 114 automobile industries sector, it was analysed by using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). For data analysis, the partial least squares (PLS) method was employed. Out of the eighteen (18) hypotheses, fifteen (15) were supported by the PLS-SEM results. The conceptual model from the study that was presented can be put to use or helpful in the organization’s management, or project managers can utilize it as a framework and direction for hybrid cloud ERP implementation. The findings of the study can also be used to create a conceptual framework for the actual use of ERP systems for automobile industry, such as the incorporation of blockchain and postmodern ERP systems in many sectors of business. There is discussion of the findings’ implications for practical and research, and potential study areas are proposed. © 2023 River Publishers

The influence of social media lifestyle interventions on health behaviour: A study on patients with major depressive disorders and family caregivers

Background: The World Health Organisation (WHO) predicts that depression will be the second leading cause of diseases by 2020. If depression is not properly treated, it can develop into a depressive disorder and increase the risk of *** biopsychosocial factors, lifestyle is said to be a major cause of this disease and has led to an increase in its prevalence. Objective: The objective of this study was to study the intentions of patients with major depressive disorders and family caregivers to change their health behaviour and lifestyle through social media influences. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study. Participants were invited to take part in the research and give their informed consent. The sample consisted of 157 patients diagnosed with major depressive disorders, aged 18 years and over, and 110 family caregivers. Data were collected from the questionnaires designed according to the I-Change Model (ICM). Statistical results to confirm causal relationships were analysed based on Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and by using the SmartPLS 3 software. Results: Patients and family caregivers were questioned about their perspectives on health matters and the influence on their motivations and intentions to change patients’ health behaviour and lifestyle, particularly social media interventions. The patients received information and counselling about health matters, health awareness, motivation and their intentions to change their health behaviour. The family caregivers were presented with the same information and counselling to motivate them to influence the depressive patients’ intentions to change their health behaviour. Conclusion: It is possible that lifestyle interventions on social media can influence the intention to change health behaviour in both patients and caregivers. This paper is concerned with wavelet-based image denoising using Bayesian technique. In conventional denoising process, The parameters of probability density function (PDF) are usually calculated from the first few moments, mean and variance. In this work, a new image denoising algorithm based on Pearson Type IV random vectors is proposed. Pearson Type IV is used because it allows higher-order moments (skewness and kurtosis) to be incorporated into the noiseless wavelet coefficients' probabilistic model. One of the cruxes of the Bayesian image denoising methods is to estimate statistical parameters for a shrinkage function. We employ maximum a posterior (MAP) estimation to calculate local variances with Gamma density prior for local observed variances and Gaussian distribution for noisy wavelet coefficients. The experimental results show that the proposed method yields good denoising results. © 2012 IEEE.

This study was aimed to develop a library information storage system through the blockchain technology to solve data security problems and reduce tools used to work with conventional systems such as security software, data collection programs, etc. Therefore, the library information storage systems have been developed by using open source technology. The research data were recorded in accordance with the standards of the bibliography of the MARC 21 format complying with the posting rules of the AACR2R in order to test and compare the performance of The Proof of Work ( PoW) and IPFS. The result revealed that the information storage system development could upload and download pdf files perfectly. Moreover, as the efficiency of proof of work (PoW) with IPFS were compared with each other, the upload and download speed in proof of work (PoW) was found to be faster than uploading information by PoW. © 2020 IEEE.

This study underscores the importance of standard data analytics governance within organizations to leverage the potential of increasing volumes of big data. Even though Thailand has operative frameworks for data governance and AI governance, there lacks a concrete framework specifically for analytics governance. To fill this void, the research utilizes the Data Governance Framework from the Digital Government Development Agency (DGA), the Artificial Intelligence Governance for e-Business and Digital Services from the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA), and the Data management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM) within the Analytics management section. The design and evaluation of the analytics governance framework are carried out using feedback from experts via a questionnaire. The ultimate objective of this study is to pinpoint the relevant components necessary for formulating an analytics governance framework in organizations in Thailand, which have already implemented data governance. © 2023 Owner/Author.

This paper presents counting number of the sweat glands using image processing. This method uses a process of image processing as follows. The cropped image of the sweat glands is resized for an extensive size and it is converted to gray image. Then, unsharp filter is used for this image to adjust clearly the sweat glands. Quality of the image will be improved for image enhancement using adaptive histogram equalization. Finally, extended minima transform, i.e. the regional minima of the H-minima transform, is used for counting number of the sweat glands. The experimental results show that the accuracy, sensitivity and precision are approximately at 70.31%, 77.38% and 88.89%, respectively. It saves time to analysis of the sweat glands. © 2011 IEEE.

This paper presents counting number of points for the *** vulgaris using UV Fluorescence and image processing. This proposed method uses a process of image processing as follows. Cropping a UV image is to select a region of interest and, then the cropped image is resized for a suitable size and it (or the color image) is converted to a gray image. Quality of this gray image will be improved for image enhancement using adaptive histogram equalization. Finally, extended maxima transform, i.e. the regional maxima of the H-maxima transform, is used for counting number of the *** points. The experimental results show that the accuracy, sensitivity and precision are approximately at 83.75%, 98.22% and 85.04%, respectively. It saves time to analysis of the acne points. © 2011 IEEE.
