This paper presents a simulation of time and costing for E-commerce activities of schools under the information technology Foundation Thailand (ITFT). A successful business process is proposed for solving the currently E-commerce activities of schools in terms of time and costing. The ITFT is supported by information technology for Education of Rural Schools Project (ITERS) which are earned money from Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES). The ITERS schools produce their own products from home economics or selling local products and apply ICT to selling the products of the school or the community. The foundation has further supported e-commerce sale for teachers, students and also locals to make money. The data are derived from interviews with teachers in schools. For simulation results, time and costing of proposed business process are approximately at 29.94 minutes and 527 Bath, respectively, which are reduced approximately at 48.05 minutes and 679 Bath, respectively, from the existing process. Therefore, such the results can be explained to save other related resources and they also can be applied to use and improve the business process of E-commerce activities of schools. © 2018 IEEE.

In developed countries, for recurring disasters (e.g. floods), there are dedicated document repositories of Disaster management Plans (DISPLANs) that can be accessed as needs arise. Nevertheless, accessing the appropriate plan in a timely manner and sharing activities between plans often requires domain knowledge and intimate knowledge of the plans in the first place. In this paper, we introduce an Agent-Based (AB) knowledge analysis framework to convert DISPLANs into a collection of knowledge units that can be stored in a unified repository. The repository of DM actions then enables the mixing and matching knowledge between different plans. The repository is structured as a layered abstraction according to Meta Object Facility (MOF) to allow the free flow access to the knowledge across the layers. We use the flood DISPLAN of the SES (State Emergency Service), an authoritative DM agency in NSW (New State Wales) State of Australia to illustrate and validate the developed framework. © PACIS 2017.

A deep learning approach based on graphs to detect plantation lines

Identifying plantation lines in aerial images of agricultural landscapes is re-quired for many automatic farming processes. Deep learning-based networks are among the most prominent methods to learn such patterns and extract this type of information from diverse imagery conditions. However, even state-of-the-art methods may stumble in complex plantation patterns. Here, we propose a deep learning approach based on graphs to detect plantation lines in UAV-based RGB imagery, presenting a challenging scenario containing spaced plants. The first module of our method extracts a feature map throughout the backbone, which consists of the initial layers of the VGG16. This feature map is used as an input to the Knowledge Estimation Module (KEM), organized in three concatenated branches for detecting 1) the plant positions, 2) the plantation lines, and 3) the displacement vectors between the plants. A graph modeling is applied considering each plant position on the image as vertices, and edges are formed between two vertices (i.e. plants). Finally, the edge is classified as pertaining to a certain plantation line based on three probabilities (higher than 0.5): i) in visual features obtained from the backbone; ii) a chance that the edge pixels belong to a line, from the KEM step; and iii) an alignment of the displacement vectors with the edge, also from the KEM step. Experiments were conducted initially in corn plantations with different growth stages and patterns with aerial RGB imagery to present the advantages of adopting each module. We assessed the generalization capability in the other two cultures (orange and eucalyptus) datasets. The proposed method was compared against state-of-the-art deep learning methods and achieved superior performance with a significant margin considering all three datasets. Quantum tunneling phenomenon allows a high-barrier reaction to occur even though thermal energy is not sufficient to surmount the barrier. The phenomenon has been suggested to exist in the isomerization of methylhydroxycarbene which occured at 11 K. Here we study the quantum tunneling that occured in the isomerization of methylhydroxycarbene to acetaldehyde and to vinyl alcohol based on density functional calculations. The isomerization pathways are determined under the effect of various solvents which are modeled by polarizable continuum model (PCM). We use Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin (WKB) approximation to calculate the tunneling probability (T) and extend the usefulness of T into isomerization rate. The results show that the solvents give a significant effect on the isomerization rate of methylhydroxycarbene to acetaldehyde but an insignificant one on the isomerization rate to vinyl alcohol.

Currently, the growth of information and technology is rapid. It makes a lot of things in various fields including education becoming more effective and efficient. In education, one of its implementation which is a game is proven to be a useful tool to support conventional teaching methods and bring a more natural understanding of learning materials. Moreover, as a product of the popular culture in modern society, video game mirrors the general culture practice in real life and reflects it via its own culture inside the game. This makes a video game can give a contribution to the social construction of reality as it affects the player's view towards learning in real life and vice versa. From there, we see that there is an opportunity for learning about religion to be supported by its utilization to provide an interactive and fun learning experience. In this paper, we discuss how a video game is implemented to support religious learning. The game was developed with the scrum method where we surveyed to gather the user requirements before the design step. The game design was made by using the use case diagram and storyboard, and it was built using Unity version 2017.3.0f3.

Berkah Mart is one of the new minimarkets in Pekanbaru city which began to develop as a retail business to meet the needs of the community. In his operation, Berkah Mart still uses the traditional store management perception that the placement of product layout on sale shelves has not been through sales analysis. Existing products have not been reviewed from the consumer's point of view, whereas the marketing economics concept provides a variety of product and consumer management methods for business management in Berkah Mart, including market bucket analysis techniques and various itemset search algorithms. In this research, Market Basket Basket Analysis with FP-Growth algorithm is proposed to determine the layout and planning of goods availability. The application of FP-Growth algorithm proved to be useful in generating many and informative association rules to find out the consumer spending pattern at Berkah Mart in Pekanbaru. Moreover, from the rules of the customer association can be segmented separately to meet the specific needs of customers with cost-effective by using some special promotions for the general group. The experimental results show that FP-Growth algorithm can analyze quickly and efficiently informing consumer shopping pattern at Berkah Mart and can increase Berkah Mart revenue. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Business capital and revenue are not only the decisive of the health of SMEs but also they must be balanced. In general, customers find their benefit from the flexible payment methods while on the other hand the SMEs should get their benefit too. So that, it needs to be studied whether it is necessary for SMEs to get their profit in accordance to this situation. One of the methods that suitable to be applied is by applying customer groupings based on revenue and payment namely the K-means clustering method since it can raise several groups that have not been known before. This information is useful for SMEs to be utilized based on their needs. Data in this study were gathered from customer attributes, number of transactions, and payment methods. The number of centroids was 3. The grouping results were stopped at the 5th iteration. The finding showed that the ratio value of the 4th iteration and the 5th iteration having the same ratio value, 0.07393. From the results of the iterations can be found; first, based on the customers' number, the groups can be classified into three C1(18%), C2 (45%), C3 (36%). Second, based on the average number of transactions, post-paid payments was in the first rank (12.7 / week). From the results, it can be analyzed that this situation is burdensome for SMEs because the more the number of transactions, the more investment must be prepared for accounts receivable.

The security of information in this global era is increasingly becoming a vital need in various aspects of life. An information will have a higher value when it comes to aspects of business decisions. This study presents a learning application to explain how to secure data using cryptographic techniques. This study aims to design a prototype learning application of cryptographic techniques using algorithm RC4 method. Based on the results of data analysis and after completing the design of RC4 algorithm cryptographic learning software, the authors found this software shows every step and stages of the processes (data input process (Plaintext or Ciphertext string), Key padding process (U), formation process in S-Box table, the Key-Flow formation process (K-keystream), encryption process and decryption process) contained in RC4 algorithm cryptography, so it can help understanding or learning work procedures of algorithms in the cryptographic method. Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 is an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) application that is used to create and develop software. In this application there were various features that facilitate programming such as compilation, debugging, project settings, designing and editing visual interfaces, and so on. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
