Pomelo is an important export fruit of Thailand. However, it is a plant that is susceptible to many diseases. The objective of this work is to identify diseases using the convolution neural network, which most of the diseases of Pomelo indicate on its leaves. Three types of pomelo leaves images including healthy leaves, greening disease, and citrus leafminer are addressed in this work. Transfer Learning techniques based on GoogLeNet, AlexNet, and Squeeznet are utilized for building the proper machine learning model for classifying Pomelo diseases. Image process techniques are also applied to enhance the performance of the model such as edging, grayscale, and rotation. Experimental results show that all three models give a similar performance where GoogLeNet has a bit better performance than that of AlexNet and Squeeznet. © 2021 IEEE.

Carbon credit is one of the measures within the Emission Trading Scheme (ETS), which serves as a mechanism to offset the amount of greenhouse gases one emits beyond the allocated rights to emit greenhouse gases. Although there are the existed carbon credit trading platforms, this research aimed to study a carbon credit trading prototype platform by using a low code with blockchain technology (BT). The rubber tree data at Nakhon Si Thammarat province in 3 age groups;namely 6-, 14-, and 22-year-old tree were used as the initial input data along with the area size of rubber tree field. After simulating the developed platform, the results show that the carbon content of the projects that have already been purchased can be sold or re-purchased while the contract for the transaction is recorded on the blockchain. Furthermore, the developed low code platform can save the platform's cost and the developing time, moreover, people without IT experience can use this low-code model to develop platforms of interest. ©2024 IEEE.

The concept of making occupational standards as a framework to develop a workforce has been adopted in many countries. Each occupation requires certain skills and capabilities necessary to pursue that profession. However, occupational standards are only a description of those desired skills. A curriculum is an important part of developing an effective and productive workforce. Therefore, this research presents a method/concept for designing a competency-based curriculum using the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and use the National Occupational Standards (NOS) as a source of basic information for development by converting competency units into the curriculum, The goal is to be a competency-based curriculum for online competency-based training because due to the current situation, learning is more likely to be online platforms. The occupational standard of data analyst is used to demonstrate the process of this work. The conceptual framework was assessed using the Delphi technique by 10 experts. The results show that the proposed framework is suitable for developing a competency-based curriculum. As a result of this method, the curriculum is complete and consistent with occupational standards. © 2022 IEEE.

The occupational standard is a benchmark for developing the workforce skills of citizens to meet the industrial requirements. This standard is normally developed from the industry section according to the real activities taking place in the workplace. Generally, it is developed by utilized Functional Analysis to construct a list of competencies for each occupation. However, it becomes a complex task for the large-scale industry, which consists of a large number of occupations. The complication and time consumption are significant issues associated with the incomplete information. To overcome these problems, an improved technique by utilizing Functional Analysis with DACUM is proposed. The experiment result shows that the proposed technique can provide the better result of the occupational standard than that of the occupational standard by using only Functional Analysis. Furthermore, it is a suitable tool for analyzing a large scale industry as well as giving a clear picture of occupations to derive the competencies. © 2018 IEEE.

This paper compares three techniques for Arabic text classification;these techniques are Support Vector Machine (SVM) with Sequential Minimal Optimization (SMO), Naïve Bayesian (NB), and J48. The main objective of this paper is to measure the accuracy for each classifier and to determine which classifier is more accurate for Arabic text classification based on stop words elimination. The accuracy for classifier is measured by Percentage split method (holdout), and K-fold cross validation methods,. The results show that the SMO classifier achieves the highest accuracy and the lowest error rate, and shows that the time needed to build the SMO model is the smallest time. © 2010 ACM.

In developed countries, for recurring disasters (e.g. floods), there are dedicated document repositories of Disaster management Plans (DISPLANs) that can be accessed as needs arise. Nevertheless, accessing the appropriate plan in a timely manner and sharing activities between plans often requires domain knowledge and intimate knowledge of the plans in the first place. In this paper, we introduce an Agent-Based (AB) knowledge analysis framework to convert DISPLANs into a collection of knowledge units that can be stored in a unified repository. The repository of DM actions then enables the mixing and matching knowledge between different plans. The repository is structured as a layered abstraction according to Meta Object Facility (MOF) to allow the free flow access to the knowledge across the layers. We use the flood DISPLAN of the SES (State Emergency Service), an authoritative DM agency in NSW (New State Wales) State of Australia to illustrate and validate the developed framework. © PACIS 2017.

Breast cancer(BC)is the most widely recognized cancer in women *** 2018,627,000 women had died of breast cancer(World Health Organization Report 2018).To diagnose BC,the evaluation of tumours is achieved by analysis of histological *** present,the Nottingham Bloom Richardson framework is the least expensive approach used to grade BC *** contemplate three elements,*** count,*** formation,and *** atypia,which is a laborious process that witness’s variations in expert’s ***,some algorithms have been proposed for the detection of mitotic cells,but nuclear atypia in breast cancer histopathology has not received much *** atypia analysis is performed not only to grade BC but also to provide critical information in the discrimination of normal breast,non-invasive breast(usual ductal hyperplasia,atypical ductal hyperplasia)and pre-invasive breast(ductal carcinoma in situ)and invasive breast *** proposed a deep-stacked multi-layer autoencoder ensemble with a softmax layer for the feature extraction and classification *** classification results show the value of the multilayer autoencoder model in the evaluation of nuclear *** proposed method has indicated promising results,making them more fit in breast cancer grading.

Website Personalization is one of strategic technique in delivering services in online applications. A part of process for building personalization applications is to collect particular information from the user which involves information sharing. However, the awareness about privacy concerns and security threats have caused to non-sharing behavior among the Internet Users. This situation have caused website personalization cannot be built to serve its purposes. This paper aims to investigate the people's behavior and to study the propensity of information sharing attitude in two different environments and cultures. The two environments are between real-life and online while the two cultures are between Malaysian and non-Malaysian. Since this is an exploratory study, interview with five (5) persons have been conducted. The qualitative technique that chooses was recommended for any exploratory study. The findings of this study explained the understanding of behaviors and the factors of information Sharing. The factors are the cultural factors, the platform of sharing and the behavior of information sharing in web personalization. The sharing behavior in two environments and cultures were also compared. The data collected from the interviews have generalizing the speculations and issues in information sharing which have been discussed at the end section of this paper. ©2010 IEEE.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the quality of secretarial, financial and staffing information systems at the Directorate General of AHU, known as the E-PASTI system. There are two variables analysed, namely system quality and information quality. Data collection using questionnaires that distributed to 123 employees who used the E-PASTI system but returned 93 questionnaires. Data quality analyst uses descriptive quantitative method. The results of the study are several conditions related to the system and information quality of E-PASTI. The quality can be a reference for the AHU Directorate General to improve the quality of E-PASTI that suits the needs of employees. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

LED and binaural beats sleeping mask as sleep-wake cycle regulations based on brain wave stimulation

Depression rate has reached 17-27% in Indonesia, while about 5-10% of world population have sleep disorder. Unsurprisingly, one of the symptoms of depression is sleep disorder. Sleeping disorder could be treated by sleeping mask. The material of sleeping Mask is PLA (polylactic acid) in 3D printing. There is Arduino Uno as microcontroller to control alarm for sleep-wake cycle. Device works until the first 30 minutes for blue LED and delta binaural beats and the last 30 minutes for yellow LED and gamma binaural beats.. Blue LED and delta wave of binaural beats can stimulate the delta brainwave which related with deep sleep. While yellow LED and gamma binaural beats could stimulate the gamma brain waves and trigger awakening. This research employs causal quantitative method with experimental primary data collection. Additionally, there are two tests in this research, namely sleep and awakening test. A delta wave stimulation is shown in lead C3-C4 during the sleep test. Stimulated delta wave records 23.42 times higher rate than without stimulation. Thus, the system can actually trigger a deep sleep faster. During the awakening test, the stimulation using gamma binaural beats and yellow light shows that delta brainwave amplitude in lead C3-C4 is lower;while alpha brainwave amplitude in lead O1-O2 is higher. Thus, this system is able to stimulate alpha wave faster than without stimulation. The mask could regulate sleep-wake cycle for alarm device and enhance sleep quality. © 2018 University of Dicle.
