Success Factors for Conceptual Digital Voting Model

With the advancement of technology in the digital age, blockchain technology has evolved into a technology critical to delivering secure and reliable decentralized applications. An application that has brought blockchain technology is elections to close the gap in traditional elections for transparency and credibility However, in COVID-19, bringing this technology to change elections allows access to all citizens to be able to vote. This research uses a structural equation model (SEM) questionnaire to explore the success factors of election implementation using blockchain technology was analysed from 400 voters who responded to the questionnaire using Mplus Version 7. This research has prepared a conceptual model supporting the effecting factors in implementing an election system using blockchain technology with voters The researcher has created an electoral system using blockchain technology that is readily available. technology acceptance factor and credibility were utilized from the voters’ point of view in 9 Factors. Those interested in applying the model to improve elections using blockchain technology can study to improve elections. In addition, Conceptual model ideas were used to develop a model for acceptance and trust in elections using blockchain technology. © 2024 River Publishers.

This article aims to explore the significance of applying digital adoption for the workforce in different sectors, including construction, manufacturing, services, and agriculture. By analysing globally accepted statistics and scholarly articles, we present a comprehensive overview of the impact of digital adoption of mobile application on both blue-collar and white-collar workers. The findings emphasize the transformative power of digital technologies and highlight the potential benefits and challenges associated with their implementation of digital application and mobile application in each sector. This research underscores the need for strategic planning and effective training to maximize the advantages of digital adoption across diverse industries. © 2024 River Publishers.

The utilization of the reference process model (RPM) and reference architecture (RA) as disruptive information and communication technologies (ICT) in the pharmaceutical cold chain (PCC) industry has enabled the management of tasks through a model-architecture-based approach. This research presents an innovative method for competency development in the cold chain sector, leveraging RPM and RA. By introducing a comprehensive conceptual framework encompassing RPM and RA design and workflow into cold chain competency development, this study outlines the key areas for incorporating RPM and RA into the PCC field. The framework elucidates the functioning of RPM and RA concerning occupational standards (OS) and units of competencies (UOC) within the industry. The study generates a research framework for the PCC industry by systematically implementing RPM and RA using a proposed method. The primary outcomes and empirical evidence are UOC and OS derived from RPM and RA implementation and integration, substantiating the conceptual framework's validity. The research highlights the evolutionary aspects and the significance of the conceptual framework in guiding the research framework and proposes a method for competency development. Furthermore, recommendations are provided for future research endeavors. © Authors retain all copyrights.

Tactical Data Link is a military communication protocol to exchange tactical data between entities. PT Len Industri employs Multicast Tunnel as an alternative to VPN Multicast to enable multicast services on the Tactical Data Link Ground network. This paper will use RabbitMQ, Hazelcast, and Netty in the Multicast Tunnel connected to PT Len Industri's C2 and DLP products and deployed on a computer that meets the test environment's specifications. This research will compare and analyze the Quality of Services (QoS) parameters of RabbitMQ, Hazelcast, and Netty to determine which multicast tunnel system is superior in reliability, efficiency, and availability. This experiment is performed by sending data from each C2 in one of two ways: periodically every second or periodically every three seconds. The result of the experiment shows that Hazelcast is better than RabbitMQ and Netty regarding availability, reliability, and efficiency. The delay value in the one-second experiment, Hazelcast has good results, namely 999.865 ms and 361.502 ms. The obtained latency is also extremely low, with a value of less than 0.4 milliseconds for packet calculations only. The results of the availability test indicate that six out of nine Hazelcast experiments achieved better results than others. © 2023 IEEE.

Individuals’ running styles define trail running. Diverse motivational strategies for running emerge because of diverse running behaviors. Customizable design for motivation: when it comes to environmental considerations during a product’s or service’s use stage, the design process has become increasingly focused on behavior. Virtual reality enables the creation and integration of a variety of environments, as well as the redesign, retesting, and enhancement of these environments within a virtual computing structure. These benefits exist because players’ perspectives and behaviors in virtual environments are more comparable to those in their physical environments. The purpose of this study is to create a model for the relationship between persuasive strategy, user personal factors and target behavior that is effective based on the Social Cognitive Model, two hypotheses are tested using structural equation modelling (SEM). According to the findings, persuasive strategies have a significant positive influence on user personal factors. Second, user personal factors were able to influence target behaviors. To increase intrinsic motivation, virtual reality application designers should support persuasive tactics such as goal setting and self-monitoring in a target context. These results may guide designers in selecting effective persuasion strategies for various user groups. © 2023 River Publishers.

Live Streaming Contents Influencing Game Playing Behavior Among Thailand Gamers

This paper studies online game engagement in Thailand gaming communities. ‘Planned Behavior’ is the theory used in this study and it explains factors in order to determine the sustainability of the online gaming business. The theoretical research model of the paper focuses on flow experience, human-computer interaction, social interaction, and perceived enjoyment. A quantitative method has been used to measure the implications and data was collected from 800 participants’ online gamer via streaming tournament. The key findings show that the conveyed player attitudes and the flow experience have a positive influence on players’ continued intention to play an online game via Live-streaming. Hence Live-streaming is also an online game community connector and can be used as an indicator on the engagement of a sustainable game industry. © 2023 River Publishers.

Overall Success Factors Affecting the Performances of Hybrid Cloud ERP: A Case Study of Automobile Industries in Thailand

The hybrid cloud ERP system is widely used in automobile companies in Thailand. It is a popular and effective strategic tool that aids in boosting organization’s competitiveness. However, because of their complexity, high risk, high resource requirements, and high investment costs, ERP projects still have a significant failure rate. It is widely acknowledged by academics and practitioners alike to be an extremely challenging endeavour. This study proposes a conceptual paradigm for postmodern ERP implementation across the entire life cycle. Mixed methodologies for this model’s theoretical development included case study observation, literature review, semi-structured interviews with ten IT experts and ERP consultants, and online questionnaires. Based on information gathered from 455 system users from 114 automobile industries sector, it was analysed by using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). For data analysis, the partial least squares (PLS) method was employed. Out of the eighteen (18) hypotheses, fifteen (15) were supported by the PLS-SEM results. The conceptual model from the study that was presented can be put to use or helpful in the organization’s management, or project managers can utilize it as a framework and direction for hybrid cloud ERP implementation. The findings of the study can also be used to create a conceptual framework for the actual use of ERP systems for automobile industry, such as the incorporation of blockchain and postmodern ERP systems in many sectors of business. There is discussion of the findings’ implications for practical and research, and potential study areas are proposed. © 2023 River Publishers

Despite the government's encouragement of individuals to install on-grid solar panels in order to sell electricity as producers, the government still has authority over the purchasing and selling prices. For a new paradigm known as peer-to-peer (P2P) electrical energy trading, the objective of this study is to develop a low-code platform for P2P electricity auctions trading, where sellers and buyers can free to desire their prices. The blockchain technology (BT) is merged into the platform along with the artificial intelligence technology (AI) to lift up the system security and automatically determine the optimal bidding prices, respectively. The research utilized data from 20-house electricity trading auctions to train the AI model and assist in determining the most suitable electricity trading prices in the auctions. The results show that the developed platform can match the buyers and sellers who win auctions during the automated trading period obtain the best prices for electricity trading. The low-code platform significantly decreases the developing time while the BT with AI can provide the exchanged and recorded transaction data. They also enhance the security of the trading information and contributed to a higher level of security in the transactions. This research also provided insights for future development of artificial intelligence using low-code platforms, with the goal of applying it in the future. ©2024 IEEE.
