Radio-Frequency (RF)-based Human Activity Recognition (HAR) rises as a promising solution for applications unamenable to techniques requiring computer visions. However, the scarcity of labeled RF data due to their non-interpretable nature poses a significant obstacle. Thanks to the recent breakthrough of foundation models (FMs), extracting deep semantic insights from unlabeled visual data become viable, yet these vision-based FMs fall short when applied to small RF datasets. To bridge this gap, we introduce FM-Fi, an innovative cross-modal framework engineered to translate the knowledge of vision-based FMs for enhancing RF-based HAR systems. FM-Fi involves a novel cross-modal contrastive knowledge distillation mechanism, enabling an RF encoder to inherit the interpretative power of FMs for achieving zero-shot learning. It also employs the intrinsic capabilities of FM and RF to remove extraneous features for better alignment between the two modalities. The framework is further refined through metric-based few-shot learning techniques, aiming to boost the performance for predefined HAR tasks. Comprehensive evaluations evidently indicate that FM-Fi rivals the effectiveness of vision-based methodologies, and the evaluation results provide empirical validation of FM-Fi's generalizability across various environments. © 2024 Copyright is held by the owner/author(s).

Weighted vertex cover(WVC)is one of the most important combinatorial optimization *** this paper,we provide a new game optimization to achieve efficiency and time of solutions for the WVC problem of weighted *** first model the WVC problem as a general game on weighted *** the framework of a game,we newly define several cover states to describe the WVC ***,we reveal the relationship among these cover states of the weighted network and the strict Nash equilibriums(SNEs)of the ***,we propose a game-based asynchronous algorithm(GAA),which can theoretically guarantee that all cover states of vertices converging in an SNE with polynomial ***,we improve the GAA by adding 2-hop and 3-hop adjustment mechanisms,termed the improved game-based asynchronous algorithm(IGAA),in which we prove that it can obtain a better solution to the WVC problem than using a the ***,numerical simulations demonstrate that the proposed IGAA can obtain a better approximate solution in promising computation time compared with the existing representative algorithms.

controller optimization has mostly been done by minimizing a certain single cost *** practice,however,engineers must contend with multiple and conflicting considerations,denoted as design indices(DIs)in this *** to account for such complexity and nuances is detrimental to the applications of any advanced control *** paper addresses this challenge heads on,in the context of active disturbance rejection controller(ADRC)and with four competing DIs:stability margins,tracking,disturbance rejection,and noise *** this end,the lower bound for the bandwidth of the extended state observer is first established for guaranteed closed-loop ***,one by one,the mathematical formula is meticulously derived,connecting each DI to the set of controller *** our best knowledge,this has not been done in the context of *** formulas allow engineers to see quantitatively how the change of each tuning parameter would impact all of the DIs,thus making the guesswork *** example is given to show how such analytical methods can help engineers quickly determine controller parameters in a practical scenario.

Quantum computing is progressing at a fast rate and there is a real threat that classical cryptographic methods can be compromised and therefore impact the security of blockchain networks. All of the ways used to secure blockchain like Rivest–Shamir–Adleman (RSA), Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and Secure Hash Algorithm 256-bit (SHA256) are the characteristic of the traditional cryptographic techniques vulnerable to attack by quantum algorithms: Shor’s and Grover’s algorithms: can efficiently break asymmetric encryption and speed up brute force attacks. Because of this vulnerability, there exists a need to develop an advance quantum resilient blockchain framework to protect the decentralized ledgers from the future threats of the quantum. This research proposes Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Quantum Random Number Generation (QRNG) as a formidable architectural integration, to fortify security of blockchain. Classical encryption is replaced with PQC, QKD with secure key exchange by detecting eavesdropping, and QRNG with improving cryptographic randomness to remove the predictable key vulnerability. Only with a small loss of transaction efficiency, we increase transaction encryption accuracy, key exchange security, and resistance to quantum attacks. In this quantum enhanced blockchain design, the idea is to preserve the decentralization, transparency and security and at the same time overcome the future quantum threat. By going through rigorous analysis and comparative evaluation, we demonstrate that the approach saves blockchain networks from the emerging quantum risks to make sure that the decentralized finance, smart contracts and cross chain transactions. © (2025), (science and Information Organization). Chimera-inspired dynamics: When higher-order interactions are expressed differently

The exploration of chimera-inspired dynamics in nonlocally coupled networks of Kuramoto oscillators with higher-order interactions is still in its nascent stages. Concurrently, the investigation of collective phenomena in higher-order interaction networks is gaining attraction. Here, we observe that hypergraph networks tend to synchronize through lower-order interactions, whereas simplicial complex networks exhibit a preference for higher-order interactions. This observation suggests that higher-order representations manifest substantial differences in chimera-inspired synchronization regions. Moreover, we introduce an explicit expression for identifying the chimera state. With a comprehensive basin stability analysis and the interplay of pairwise and higher-order interaction strengths, the emergence of the chimera state is inherent in high-order interaction networks. Our findings contribute to the understanding of chimera-inspired dynamics in higher-order interaction networks.

This article presents the experimental findings of a smart irrigation system evaluated in two separate agricultural settings—small-scale farming and large-scale agriculture. The system combines sensors, microcontrollers, and actuators to precisely monitor and regulate the irrigation process in order to optimum water use and crop output. Water savings range from 20 to 45% when using smart irrigation technology in small-scale agriculture. By only turning on the irrigation pump when necessary, the technology optimizes water use and fosters sustainable farming methods. Furthermore, by sustaining perfect growing conditions, the approach boosts crop output, with yield benefits ranging from 10 to 22%. These improvements assist small-scale farmers in becoming more profitable and raising their level of living. In large-scale agriculture, smart irrigation systems allow excellent water management and resource optimization across huge agricultural fields. The technology consistently saves a large quantity of water, often between 25 and 50%, addressing water scarcity issues. Additionally, this method has led to a 12–25% increase in aggregate crop yields, thereby raising farm income and increasing agricultural firm profitability. Experiments shows that this smart irrigation system could bring cost-effective, sustainable techniques to extensive and intensive agriculture alike. Intelligence-guided decision-making technology is applied here, and cutting-edge technologies are brought to bear on the water use problem. The fundamental trade-off between spatial resolution and imaging distance poses a significant challenge for current imaging techniques,such as those used in modern biomedical diagnosis and remote ***,we introduce a new conceptual method for imaging dynamic amplitude-phase-mixed objects,termed relay-projection microscopic telescopy(rPMT),which fundamentally challenges conventional light collection techniques by employing non-line-ofsight light collection through square-law relay-projection *** successfully resolved tiny features measuring 2.76μm,22.10μm,and 35.08μm for objects positioned at distances of 1019.0 mm,26.4 m,and 96.0 m,respectively,from single-shot spatial power spectrum images captured on the relay screen;these results demonstrate that the resolution capabilities of rPMT significantly surpass the Abbe diffraction limit of the 25 mm-aperture camera lens at the respective distances,achieving resolution improvement factors of 7.9,25.4,and *** rPMT exhibits long-distance,wide-range,high-resolution imaging capabilities that exceed the diffraction limit of the camera lens and the focusing range limit,even when the objects are obscured by a scattering *** rPMT enables telescopic imaging from centimeters to beyond hundreds of meters with micrometer-scale resolution using simple devices,including a laser diode,a portable camera,and a diffusely reflecting *** contemporary high-resolution imaging techniques,our method does not require labeling reagents,wavefront modulation,synthetic receive aperture,or ptychography scanning,which significantly reduce the complexity of the imaging system and enhance the application *** method holds particular promise for in-vivo label-free dynamic biomedical microscopic imaging diagnosis and remote surveillance of small objects.
