An intelligent agent for monitoring, interpreting, and reporting risk of online computer game addiction in children and early adolescents in Thailand was designed with the aim to help parents, clinicians, and experts recognize behaviors of young individuals who take part in computer and online gaming. The information studied includes the type of gaming, as well as the duration and frequency of play. Conversations during gaming are also reviewed, which can demonstrate rudeness, anger, and need for control of the game. Such factors are interpreted as a risk of gaming addiction in children and early adolescents, and will consequently lead to a preventive-care plan to prevent a higher level of gaming addiction. Recognition of these factors can also lead to treatment of lower rates of addiction, and can reduce errors in basic gaming addiction assessments. The present-day self-assessment works to ameliorate gaming addiction issues in children and early adolescents in Thailand Self-assessment is a passive practice, but it can work as a very powerful proactive remedy. © 2012 IEEE.

Sign language has importance rule to deal with communication process especially with impairments hearing people. Sign language detection also attract lot of researchers to join the challenge of research to detect and recognize the sign language in the field of computer Science. Hence, there is still no any standard approach and method to recognize the meaning in every pose of sign language. This research proposed a mechanism to detect Alphabet American Sign Language by utilizing Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) process. The CNN approach was chosen based on the ability and capability to recognize image. In this research, MNIST dataset is used for traning and testing process. The proposed CNN architecture produced 97% of accuracy that outperform the previous research using the same dataset which made this architecture promising. © 2022 IEEE.

The microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition (MPCVD) method is capable of synthesizing various forms of carbon allotropes such as diamond, carbon nanotubes (CNTs), and diamondlike carbon (DLC) while varying the growth parameters or utilizing substrate coated with catalytic thin film. In this article, needlelike carbon nanostructures (CNs) were synthesized utilizing high power (5 kW) and high working pressure (120 Torr) MPCVD on a thin catalytic film of nickel with a diffusion barrier layer of titanium on a micropatterned silicon substrate. The effects of in situ doping by trimethylboron (TMB) on the morphologies and field emission properties of the CNs were also investigated. Straight, needlelike CNs with random orientation were obtained for 15 min growth time with or without TMB doping. However, the CNs appear to transform into diamondlike nanocrystals after prolonged growth of 30 min with TMB doping. Unlike MPCVD grown CNTs, it was found that the CNs have strong adhesion to the substrate and could withstand postgrowth processing such as ultrasonic agitation cleaning in solvents. Field emission tests performed show that in situ TMB doping of the patterned needlelike CNs lowers the turn-on field of the cathode. A vacuum field emission triode with self-aligned gate utilizing CNs as the field emitter is also fabricated. © 2006 American Vacuum Society.

The escalating visibility of secure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerabilities in API security, as indicated in the compilation of OWASP Top 10 API Security Risks, highlights a noteworthy peril to sensitive data. This study explores IDOR vulnerabilities found within Android APIs, intending to clarify their inception while evaluating their implications for application security. This study combined the qualitative and quantitative approaches. Insights were obtained from an actual penetration test on an Android app into the primary reasons for IDOR vulnerabilities, underscoring insufficient input validation and weak authorization methods. We stress the frequent occurrence of IDOR vulnerabilities in the OWASP Top 10 API vulnerability list, highlighting the necessity to prioritize them in security evaluations. There are mitigation recommendations available for developers, which recognize its limitations involving a possibly small and homogeneous selection of tested Android applications, the testing environment that could cause some inaccuracies, and the impact of time constraints. Additionally, the study noted insufficient threat modeling and root cause analysis, affecting its generalizability and real-world relevance. However, comprehending and controlling IDOR dangers can enhance Android API security, protect user data, and bolster application resilience. © 2023 IEEE.

Information technology enables for new way of commerce, which is a commerce activities through online media (e-commerce). Security becomes an important issue in online-system, because such system is accessible by anyone through the global network -internet. Security in terms of confidentiality, integrity, and availability becomes goals that must be achieved by any system generally, and commerce system especially, because this kind of system contains many sensitive data like customer data and transaction data. SQL Injection is a vulnerability and threat, with the most occurrence in a web based system. In this research we evaluate and analyze source code against SQL injection, and we use regular expression and escape string to prevent the SQL injection. The results of this study are findings of system vulnerability against SQL injection, which are proven by the ability to get data from database, with SQL injection techniques. System vulnerabilities were analyzed, in order to design and implement the solution for it. The solutions then tested, to validate that it has proven effectively fix the vulnerabilities, and can prevent the exploitation by SQL injection. In the end, the conclusion is that initially the system is vulnerable against SQL injection, but then the solution that being implemented has proven effectively fix the issue. © 2018 The Authors. In this paper we describe an extension to the MATLAB Phased Array Toolkit that adds a configurable clutter object to model clutter signals returned along a specified signal path. The clutter model is based on the Simkins Unified Clutter Model[1]. The current implementation supports sea clutter in any of five sea states with configurable polarization, grazing angle, and beam width. We describe the implementation and give examples of modeled clutter returns. © 2012 IEEE.

We introduce a composition of object-oriented component PHP grammar for taint analysis. Our novel method successfully restructured the PHP parser and reduced grammar artifact objects that must be visited in a taint analysis process by up to 52% grammar variation. Taint analysis is an analysis that detects any injection vulnerability pattern in source code. The analysis identifies the information flow of untrustworthy input that affects the sensitive sink or part of the system. The static taint analysis was run on an abstract syntax tree and traversed all nodes. A static taint analysis uses a parser to traverse abstract syntax trees of the source code. A web PHP parser has 140 grammar combinations in an abstract syntax tree, which has to be traversed to recognize the tainted flow pattern. Additionally, there are many variations of syntax and coding styles for tainted flow patterns. Therefore, the amount of combinations will consume many computation resources. © 2018 The Authors.
