We reviewed the application of modern technology for rapid and accurate multi-person real-time pose detection in the hazardous field of electrical engineering. We focused on two leading pose detection technologies: YOLOv8 and OpenPose. To optimize performance, we integrated these two techniques into the LSTM model for training and investigated frame rates and accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

The purpose of this study is to find out what makes Generation Z students accept and use Canva as a tool for making presentation materials. The conceptual framework of this study is the combination of "Technology Acceptance Model (TAM)"and the "Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2)". "Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)"used for data analyzation. This research aims to understand the dynamics of Canva acceptance among students. The findings show that enjoyment, fun, and pleasure in using Canva, combined with its creative tools and design-centric approach, significantly resonate with Gen Z's preference for aesthetics. This research highlights that Canva is favored by students for creating engaging presentations. © 2024 IEEE.

Many data-driven patient risk stratification models have not been evaluated prospectively. We performed and compared the prospective and retrospective evaluations of 2 Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) risk-prediction models at 2 large academic health centers, and we discuss the models’ robustness to data-set shifts.

Solar energy is one of the most abundant sources of renewable energy in Indonesia. Solar energy is now typically harnessed using solar panels, but the low efficiency of photovoltaic cells requires the development of other alternatives. The heliostat is a sunlight directing device with mirrors that can be used in a concentrated solar power system. Current heliostats require high capital investment due to their large frames and expensive components. This research was undertaken to develop a lower cost heliostat using a smaller frame, ESP32 microcontroller, servo motor and low-cost components. The position of the sun can be determined using an algorithm based on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) solar calculator, and the mirror is moved to maintain the sun's reflection on a target. The result of this research is a set of heliostat prototypes consisting of the frame and control system. Tests were carried out to test the performance of the designed heliostat and it was found that the heliostat has an accuracy of about 60 cm and can raise temperatures up to 3.41°C. The conclusion is that the heliostat can be used in a concentrated solar power system to heat boilers in solar power towers.

Amid the recent uptake of Generative AI, sociotechnical scholars and critics have traced a multitude of resulting harms, with analyses largely focused on values and axiology (e.g., bias). While value-based analyses are crucial, we argue that ontologies - concerning what we allow ourselves to think or talk about - is a vital but under-recognized dimension in analyzing these systems. Proposing a need for a practice-based engagement with ontologies, we offer four orientations for considering ontologies in design: pluralism, groundedness, liveliness, and enactment. We share examples of potentialities that are opened up through these orientations across the entire LLM development pipeline by conducting two ontological analyses: examining the responses of four LLM-based chatbots in a prompting exercise, and analyzing the architecture of an LLM-based agent simulation. We conclude by sharing opportunities and limitations of working with ontologies in the design and development of sociotechnical systems. © 2025 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). Technological developments have resulted in a trend of cryptocurrencies that use a technology called blockchain to create and record all transactions made into a digital ledger. Along with the emergence of the trend of cryptocurrencies, this development has also resulted in crimes that hit the digital world, such as data leakage and cyber espionage. This threat can be prevented by applying blockchain technology to the database that has been used. Therefore, we need a system that can facilitate the use of blockchain technology and can process data from an existing relational database into a blockchain-based database. The system developed in this study was built with the FastAPI framework that uses the Python programming language and the React framework that uses the Javascript programming language. This system was tested using Katalon and Wireshark software to perform throughput testing and man-in-the-middle attacks. Evaluation of this system is assessed based on the average throughput time and also the results of Wireshark packet capture. The system designed in this research is expected to help overcome interoperability problems when using blockchain and improve relational database integrity. The results of the test show that the system is safe from man-in-the-middle attacks while sending data through API and has a faster throughput time than BigchainDB system by 4.151 seconds.

In the field of computer science, expert systems have attracted many computer scientists. In recent years, expert systems have been widely used in the medical field, particularly for diagnosing and treating various diseases, especially prostate cancer. Reality has shown that expert systems hold great promise for accurate diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. This research summarizes several studies related to the application of artificial intelligence in the field of prostate cancer through bibliometric analysis and explores potential future research. Articles and reviews on the application of expert systems in prostate cancer from 2015 to 2022 were selected from the PubMed, Embase, and Web of science databases. Microsoft Excel 2019 and GraphPad Prism 8 were used for target variable analysis. A total of 37 articles were selected for this research. Research on artificial intelligence in prostate cancer has grown exponentially in recent years, particularly in Indonesia. Image data usage is more predominant (62%) than numerical data types in prostate cancer research. Artificial intelligence research in prostate cancer, especially in the field of treatment cases, and the use of Deep Neural Network (DNN), Human Neural Network (HNN), Fully Convolutional Network (FCN), QT Environment for C++, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithms, are highly feasible for further research. © 2023 IEEE.

Widyaiswara is required to show the best performance to fulfill his duties and obligations. Therefore, it is very important to measure the performance of the Widyaiswara, so that it can be used as evaluation material by the BPSDM PROVSU. However, the assessment process that occurs is still not precise and time-consuming. Therefore, to minimize this, a decision support system is needed that can minimize time errors and data processing in decision-making so that the assessment runs well and accurately. This system was built by applying the WASPAS method and the TOPSIS method. Based on the results of tests carried out five times, the results of the WASPAS method processing time resulted in an average processing time of 0.00029791 ms and an average memory usage value of 2.836.44 kb, while the results of the TOPSIS method processing time test resulted in an average processing time - an average of 0.000296428 ms and an average memory usage value of 2.862.34 kb. © 2022 IEEE.

Citrus Limon L. (Lemon) is a type of fruit that is currently widely consumed, because it contains abundant vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants. This fruit have high potential in the agribusiness sector and is widely cultivated by traditional farmers. However, during harvest time, traditional farmers generally still use manual methods using the human eye in distinguishing the maturity level of lemons which is less efficient because it has a low accuracy. Digital image processing is one solution to this problem. In the research on the classification of lemon maturity levels using digital image processing with the feature extraction method of the Mean RGB, HSV, and LBP methods and the K-Nearest Neighbor classification algorithm in this study, a total of 120 lemon images were used which were divided into 80 training image data and 40 image data. testing. The results of model performance measurements in the form of the highest accuracy level in the Mean RGB method of 100%, the highest accuracy in the HSV method of 98%, and the highest accuracy in the LBP method of 82.5%. © 2023 IEEE.

Internet of Things (IoT) is an environment in which digital equipment is augmented with sensors to share and receive data through network. When devices share data it can be effected by anomalies or any attack due to corrupted data or by any other uncertainty and ambiguity in data. The data can also be corrupted through a damage in device. These attacks or anomalies damage the working of the IoT networks. The anomalous data can be detected through detection techniques however most anomaly detection techniques depend upon labelled data but for IoT datasets, usually class labels are not available. Labeling is performed by a manual process which is time consuming and also costly. As data in IoT increases day by day so there is a need to label and classify data for future unseen data. In this paper a hybrid algorithm is proposed in which both clustering and classification techniques are applied for automatic labeling and classifying on IoT dataset. The model contains two function. In the first phase k-means clustering is employed for labelling dataset instances as normal or anomalous. In the second phase labelled dataset is used to train Random Forest model to detect anomalies in IoT networks. The results show that the proposed model is detecting anomalies in IoT networks with an accuracy 98%, precision 98 %, recall 98%, and F-meausre 0.98%. © 2023 IEEE.
