As well as his involvement in the EPSRC‐funded Design for Manufacture in the Extended Enterprise Project he lectures to the Master′s course on the application of AI and expert systems in business on data communications and on computer‐aided design and manufacture. He is involved with many aspects of the project but is particularly involved in the area of design for manufacture/assembly tools and techniques.
