We present results on CPT symmetry tests in decays of positronium performed with the precision at the level of 10−4, and positronium images determined with the prototype of the J-PET tomograph. The first full scale prototype apparatus consists of 192 plastic scintillator strips read out from both ends with vacuum tube photomultipliers. Signals produced by photomultipliers are probed in the amplitude domain and are digitized by FPGA based readout boards in triggerless mode. Coronavirus (Covid-19) appeared at the end of 2019 in the Chinese city of Wuhan, and it should be mentioned that there are research centers in both America and China that have worked on these viruses for many years ago before the appearance of this virus. At the beginning of the year 2020, this virus has spread widely in most countries worldwide and has led to great human and material losses, and the World Health Organization considered it a pandemic. A review analysis is conducted to be focused on many factors affecting the published papers on Covid-19 that applied to science Direct library on 7/4/2020. We observed that most research studies have shown that this virus attacks the human respiratory system, which leads to shortness of breath and also leads to death in some cases. The obtained results showed that most of these research papers are focusing on statistics (41%), medicine (40%), management (17%), and healthcare (2%) respectively. Statistical analysis is helpful to understand the orientation of research papers published on Covid-19. Statistics and medicine respectively, occupy a large part of the research side of the Covid-19. It is a short time since the spread of the Corona virus, so research results cannot reach maturity.

Working with different data depending on the appearance and content of the object. Formation of types of objects and content of processes within the framework of human activity. Based on this, the control mechanism is also different. Management effects in the learning system are understood as the transfer of knowledge in the subject area to the student using the methods and tools formed by the teacher in the educational environment, taking into account all the factors generated in this process. The control system in this view is a simple system with a nonlinear feedback section. It combines complexes consisting of technical, software, telecommunications and methodological tools used in the educational process. They can be used to form alternative solutions not only by delivering parts of the training materials, but also by collecting and processing the information needed to manage the learning process. The training method is chosen according to the requirements of the learning environment and depends on the topic. If the chosen method is accepted, the training part is provided, which is fixed (question-answer or in another form), which makes it possible to work independently.

A continuous aggregated dynamic model of gas production at a gas field is under construction. Several issues related to gas extraction modeling are under discussion. Two possible options for developing a gas field with certain conditions are under consideration. The first strategy concerns the development of one gas field at two consecutive time stages: At a constant rate of wells drilling and in the absence of drilling. The second strategy concerns maintaining an unaltered level of gas production by commissioning new wells. We study each option in detail and draw appropriate conclusions. We also pose and solve optimization problems for maximum overall extraction and maximum profit. The issues proposed for the study belong to the class of optimal control problems with a free right end and a fixed time. The necessary mathematical apparatus is the Pontryagin maximum principle. © 2020 IEEE.

We consider a continuous aggregated deterministic dynamic model of the movement of gas reserves by category. According to the classification of combustible gas reserves, we characterize each type by the level of knowledge about the object, which is the carrier of information about the estimated stock of gas. We describe the movement of gas reserves by a system of differential equations and schematically depict this movement in the figure. When moving from one category to another, we take into account the degree of confirmation of reserves in the model. We pay special attention to the gas reserves multiplicity. To describe it, we introduce a time function that determines the total explored reserves of natural gas. We make a priori assumptions about its properties. We analyze six specific examples. For each sample, we determine the reserves multiplicity coefficient, the dynamics of which we analyze. We explain the behavior of the multiplicity coefficient and draw the appropriate conclusions. © 2020 IEEE.

Various new scheduling problems have been arising from practical production processes and spawning new research areas in the scheduling field. We study the parallel multi-stage open shops problem, which generalizes the classic open shop scheduling and parallel machine scheduling problems. Given m identical k-stage open shops and a set of n jobs, we aim to process all jobs on these open shops with the minimum makespan, i.e., the completion time of the last job, under the constraint that job preemption is not allowed. We present an efficient polynomial-time approximation scheme (EPTAS) for the case when both m and k are constant. The main idea for our EPTAS is the combination of several categorization, scaling, and linear programming rounding techniques. Jobs and/or operations are first scaled and then categorized carefully into multiple types so that different types of jobs and/or operations are scheduled appropriately without increasing the makespan too much. A Semi-Supervised Generative Adversarial Network for Amodal Instance Segmentation of Piglets in Farrowing Pens

computer vision technology is applicable for the automated monitoring of animals. However, occlusions are common in complex animal housing environments, such as in farrowing pens in piggeries (where farrowing crates can obscure piglets), and this greatly limits the application of such technology. Amodal instance segmentation (AIS) can predict a complete mask of an occluded target and thus is a promising approach to solve such occlusion problems. However, AIS is usually trained on amodal datasets, which are so challenging to create that very few have been developed. To solve this problem, we devised a novel semi-supervised generative adversarial network for AIS, denoted "the AISGAN," which only requires a regular modal dataset. We adversarially trained a discriminator and a generator, i.e., trained the discriminator to determine whether a mask is occluded, and trained the generator to generate a realistic mask to fool the discriminator. We also added random occlusions onto unoccluded objects to automatically create amodal samples and used the corresponding segmentation loss during adversarial training. We found that the AISGAN achieved a mean Intersection of Union (mIoU) of 0.823, which was greater than the mIoUs of Mask RCNN, Raw, and Convex Hull (0.801, 0.780, and 0.778, respectively). As a semi-supervised method, the mIoU of our AISGAN was further enhanced (by 0.6%) when we fine-tuned it with unlabeled new data. The results demonstrate that the AISGAN can produce realistic masks of piglets, including details of their noses and legs, even under heavily occluded conditions. We also applied the AISGAN to determine the spatial distribution of piglets in a farrowing pen and the results demonstrated that our method is occlusion-resistant. Thus, the AISGAN is a promising tool for automated animal monitoring in complex housing environments. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The micro RNA-messenger RNA dynamics is a topic of constant interest. In this paper we analyze the stability of equilibria of a mathematical model associated to this interaction. After proving the existence and uniqueness of an equilibrium point in the positive ortant, we provide numerically tractable conditions (by using Linear Matrix Inequalities techniques) to check the asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point. Named entity recognition is a field of NLP that aims to detect and extract relevant information from unstructured text documents. However, some Ethiopian languages were getting started in different research fields. One of the languages spoken in Ethiopia is called Awingi language has a rich morphology and it is highly lacking in computational linguistic tools. There is some NER research done in Ethiopian language using different approaches and classification techniques, but since there was a lack of study conducted on NER for the Awingi language. This study aims to design a named entity recognition model for the Awngi Language using a deep learning approach with word2vect word embedding techniques. The data collected from AMICO Hiber Awiꬼgi program was posted on social media pages, Awngi Language and Literature department of Injibara University, and Awi Zone Educational and Training department. Therefore, the study uses a newly tagged dataset with 37,133 tokens. Presently, researchers focused on discovering four main named entities such as persons, locations, Dates, and organizations from unstructured Awiꬼgi text by using the three algorithms namely convolutional neural networks, long short-term memory, and bi-directional long-short-term memory. For the feature engineering task, Word2vec and one-hot encoding are utilized. To identify the best-performing model, the researchers have conducted several experiments. Over other algorithms, the Bi-LSTM algorithm before sampling and word embedding performed better results, i.e 95.4%, 92.4%, 95.3%, and 91.2% Accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score, respectively, and after sampling and word embedding it performed with 99.4%, 97.3%, 99.2%, and 97.2% Accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score, respectively.

We consider a scalar parabolic equation in one spatial dimension. The equation is constituted by a convective term, a reaction term with one or two equilibria, and a positive diffusivity which can however vanish. We prove the existence and several properties of traveling-wave solutions to such an equation. In particular, we provide a sharp estimate for the minimal speed of the profiles and improve previous results about the regularity of wavefronts.
