Frequency Agile Strategy Design of Radar Network for Wideband Sweep Jamming via Coalition Formation Game

This article proposes an intelligent frequency agile design strategy for radar network using coalition game theory to counter wideband sweep jamming, which is formulated as a two-stage decision-making problem. In the first stage, the entire frequency agile range is divided into several non-overlapping agile subrange, and each radar selects a frequency agile subrange to join, which is solved by the coalition formation algorithm. Then, after achieving a stable coalition partition, a distributed multi-agent reinforcement learning algorithm is developed to address the specific carrier frequency selection problem within each coalition. By combining these two stages of the frequency agile design strategy, a joint coalition formation game and distributed Q-learning algorithm (CFDQ) is proposed. Finally, numerical simulations are conducted to illustrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm over several typical frequency agile strategies. © 1965-2011 IEEE.

Carbazole-triazine dendrimers with a bulky terminal substituent were synthesized,and the thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)property was *** to unsubstituted carbazole dendrimers,dendrimers with bulky terminal substituents showed comparable to better photoluminescence quantum yields(PLQY)in neat ***(PF)-substituted dendrimers showed the highest PLQY of 81%,a smallΔEst of 0.06 eV,and the fastest reverse intersystem crossing(RISC)rate of∼1×10^(5 )s^(−1) compared to other *** measurements of dendrimers and dendrons(fragments)indicate that the close proximity of the triplet energy of phenylfluorene-substituted carbazole dendrons(^(3)LE)to that of phenylfluorene-substituted dendrimers(^(1)CT,^(3)CT)contributes to RISC promotion and improves TADF *** modification fine-tunes the energy level and suppresses intermolecular interactions,and this study provides a guideline for designing efficient solution-processable and non-doped TADF materials.

Single-nucleotide variants(SNVs)are crucial in disease development,but their accurate detection is challenging due to their low abundance and interference from wild-type *** nucleic acid analogs like peptide nucleic acids(PNAs)have been used for SNV detection,they often lack programmable sensitivity and specificity due to poorly calculated thermodynamics and ***,we present a computational method for calculating the stacking energy of PNA and DNA hybrids,leveraging nearest neighbor *** against experimental data from 16 sequences under varied hybridization conditions yielded good agreement using Bland-Altman analysis,with all data points falling within the confidence *** findings indicate that PNA-DNA hybridization is thermodynamically more stable and exhibits kinetics 140-fold faster than DNA-DNA hybridization for identical *** this computational framework,we designed PNA toehold probes,which were screened via simulations and *** combined approach facilitated the identification of highly sensitive and specific PNA toehold probes for single point mutation detection via strand displacement *** results demonstrate the successful application of PNA toehold probes for detecting point mutations with high sensitivity and specificity,achieving a selective amplification of approximately 200-fold for variants with a variant allele frequency(VAF)of 0.5%using quantitative polymerase chain reaction.

To investigate the potential of direct ultrasonic vibration on improving the performance of magnesium alloys,this study first employed the ultrasonic vibration compression(UVC)on the solid solution treated AZ91 alloy,and explored its microstructure evolution and mechanical properties under *** only two seconds,the UVC alloys showed large deformation strains of 34.8–54.4%,and sudden increase of sample temperature to 243℃.Microstructure characterizations proved that UVC promoted the formation of abundant shear bands,fine grains,and the bimodal distribution of Mg17Al12 precipitates consisting of submicron particles located within the shear bands and nano-sized ones within the *** to the unique microstructure,the micro-hardness(and nano-hardness)value of UVC alloy was increased by 37.7%(35%)when compared with the solution-treated ***,the nano-modulus of the developed AZ91 alloy was also significantly increased to 62 GPa by statistical nanoindentation tests,which could be ascribed to increased Mg_(17)Al_(12) precipitates and decreased c/a value to some *** general,this work provides a new insight into the design and preparation of high-performance magnesium alloys by UVC at room temperature.

MM-UKAN++: A Novel Kolmogorov–Arnold Network-Based U-Shaped Network for Ultrasound Image Segmentation

Ultrasound (US) imaging is an important and commonly used medical imaging modality. Accurate and fast automatic segmentation of regions of interest (ROIs) in US images is essential for enhancing the efficiency of clinical and robot-assisted diagnosis. However, US images suffer from low contrast, fuzzy boundaries, and significant scale variations in ROIs. Existing convolutional neural network (CNN)-based and transformer-based methods struggle with model efficiency and explainability. To address these challenges, we introduce MM-UKAN++, a novel U-shaped network based on Kolmogorov-Arnold networks (KANs). MM-UKAN++ leverages multilevel KAN layers as the encoder and decoder within the U-network architecture and incorporates an innovative multidimensional attention mechanism to refine skip connections by weighting features from frequency-channel and spatial perspectives. In addition, the network effectively integrates multiscale information, fusing outputs from different scale decoders to generate precise segmentation predictions. MM-UKAN++ achieves higher segmentation accuracy with lower computational cost and outperforms other mainstream methods on several open-source datasets for US image segmentation tasks, including achieving 69.42% IoU, 81.30% Dice, and 3.31 mm HD in the BUSI dataset with 3.17 G floating point of operations (FLOPs) and 9.90 M parameters. The excellent performance on our automatic carotid artery US scanning and diagnostic system further proves the speed and accuracy of MM-UKAN++. Besides, the good performance in other medical image segmentation tasks reveals the promising applications of MM-UKAN++. The code is available on GitHub. © 1986-2012 IEEE.

Atmospheric gaseous elemental mercury in the Arctic:role of long-range transport and sea ice

The potential sources of atmospheric mercury in the Arctic are still not well ***,we analyzed the round-year observations of atmospheric gaseous elemental mercury(GEM)concentrations in 2010 at two sites in the Arctic:Zeppelin Observatory(78.90°N,11.88°E)and Alert Observatory(82.47°N,62.50°W).The results showed clearly different characteristics at these two *** the winter of 2010,the long-range transport of anthropogenic emissions was the dominant factor for elevated GEM at Zeppelin Observatory while which had little contribution to GEM at Alert *** change in GEM at Zeppelin Observatory during January,February and October was dominated by long-range transported anthropogenic *** emission inventory combined with backward trajectoryanalysis suggested that the main sources were unintentional industrial sources,stationary combustion sources,and intentional use and product waste-associated sectors,which contributed 49%,33%,and 18%,*** source contribution function analysis was then conducted and found that Europe was the important source *** the summer of 2010,sea ice concentration was an important factor affecting GEM at Alert Observatory while which had little effect on GEM at Zeppelin *** results further indicated the role of anthropogenic sources and climate warming on the spatial variation in GEM over the Arctic.

We report a high-efficiency coherent beam combination (CBC) system operating in the mid-infrared (2.8 µm) spectral region, implemented using two fluoride fiber amplifiers with a configuration of Sagnac-type interferometer. The system exhibits good performance at both continuous-wave (CW) and picosecond-pulse operation conditions. For the CW CBC, the system exhibits a high combination efficiency of >90%, delivering a maximum output power of 2.8 W with a beam quality factor (M2) of © 2025 Optica Publishing Group under the terms of the Optica Open Access Publishing Agreement.

The rise in wearable electronics has witnessed the advancement of self-healable wires,which are capable of recovering mechanical and electrical properties upon structural ***,their highly fluctuating electrical resistances in the range of hundreds to thousands of ohms under dynamic conditions such as bending,pressing,stretching and tremoring may seriously degrade the precision and continuity of the resulting electronic devices,thus severely hindering their wearable ***,we report a new family of self-healable wires with high strengths and stable electrical conductivities under dynamic conditions,inspired by mechanical-electrical coupling of the myelinated axon in *** self-healable wire based on mechanical-electrical coupling between the structural and conductive components has significantly improved the electrical stability under dynamic scenarios,enabling precise monitoring of human health status and daily activities,even in the case of limb tremors from simulated Parkinson's *** mechanical-electrical coupling strategy opens a new avenue for the development of dynamically stable electrodes and devices toward real-world wearable applications.
