Sleep plays a vital role in optimum working of the brain and the *** people suffer from sleep-oriented illnesses like apnea,insomnia,*** stage classification is a primary process in the quantitative examination of polysomnographic *** stage scoring is mainly based on experts’knowledge which is laborious and time ***,it can be essential to design automated sleep stage classification model using machine learning(ML)and deep learning(DL)*** this view,this study focuses on the design of Competitive Multi-verse Optimization with Deep Learning Based Sleep Stage Classification(CMVODL-SSC)model using Electroencephalogram(EEG)*** proposed CMVODL-SSC model intends to effectively categorize different sleep stages on EEG ***,data pre-processing is performed to convert the actual data into useful ***,a cascaded long short term memory(CLSTM)model is employed to perform classification *** last,the CMVO algorithm is utilized for optimally tuning the hyperparameters involved in the CLSTM *** order to report the enhancements of the CMVODL-SSC model,a wide range of simulations was carried out and the results ensured the better performance of the CMVODL-SSC model with average accuracy of 96.90%.

The increasing use of fossil fuels has a significant impact on the environment and ecosystem,which increases the rate of *** the high potential of renewable energy sources inYemen and the absence of similar studies in the region,this study aims to examine the potential of wind energy in Socotra *** was done by analyzing and evaluating wind properties,determining available energy density,calculating wind energy extracted at different altitudes,and then computing the capacity factor for a number of wind turbines and determining the *** average wind speed in Socotra Island was obtained from the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority data,only for the five-year data currently *** results showed high wind speeds from June to September(9.85-14.88 m/s)while the wind speed decreased for the rest of the *** average wind speed in the five years was 7.95 m/*** average annual wind speed,wind energy density,and annual energy density were calculated at different altitudes(10,30,and 50 m).According to the International Wind Energy Rating criteria,the region of Socotra Island falls under Category 7 and is classified as‘Superb’for most of the *** study provides useful information for developing wind energy and an efficient wind approach.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has been used to study the structural makeup of the brain and analyse several neurological disorders and diseased areas. For the adoption of preventative measures, early recognition of Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients is essential. Here, a thorough inspection of the tissue arrangements obtained by MRI images of Outcome and Assessment information (OASIS) dataset enables an exact characterization of certain brain diseases. There have been a number of division techniques for diagnosing AD that range in complexity. Compassion has been tested by deep learning techniques used to segment the structure of the brain and classify AD because they have the potential to uncover important information from vast amounts of data. In this paper the deep learning technique of Hybrid Dragonfly based GWO convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is achieved promising result for the diagnosis of AD. At image preprocessing wiener filter is used for removing the additive noises and the Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM) extraction is implemented for texture analyzing. As a result, hybrid deep learning methods of CNN has the accuracy as 90% and the result of the image prediction are presented in this paper. © 2023 IEEE.

The current cyber-attack environment has put even the most protected systems at risk as the hackers are nowmodifying technologies to exploit even the tiniest of weaknesses and infiltrate *** this situation,it’s critical to design and construct software that is both secure and *** security is the most well-defined aspect of health information software systems,it is equally significant to prioritise sustainability because any health information software system will be more effective if it provides both security and sustainability to the customers at the same *** this league,it is crucial to determine those characteristics in the systems that can help in the accurate assessment of the sustainable-security of the health information software during the development *** research work employed the Fuzzy Analytic Network Process(Fuzzy ANP)to estimate the impact of the overall sustainable-security of health information software systems and their characteristics in order to achieve a high level of ***,the study validates the efficacy of the Fuzzy ANP procedure by testing it on five different versions of a health information software system through Fuzzy Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solutions(Fuzzy TOPSIS).Despite the sensitivity of the health information software systems,this study employedmultiple versions of health information software *** compared with the existing procedures for testing the sustainable-security of health information software systems,the outcomes were conclusive and significantly more *** saving time and resources,the mechanism suggested in this research work aims to establish an outline that software practitioners can follow to enhance the sustainablesecurity of health information software systems.

The rapid technological developments in the modern era have led to increased electrical equipment in our daily lives,work,and *** this standpoint,the main objective of this study is to evaluate the potential relationship between the intensity of electromagnetic radiation and the total energy of household appliances in the living environment within the building by measuring and analyzing the strength of the electric field and the entire electromagnetic radiation flux density of electrical devices operating at frequencies(5 Hz to 1 kHz).The living room was chosen as a center for measurement at 15 homes in three different environmental regions(urban,suburbs,and open areas).The three measurement methods are(Mode 1:people in a sitting position with electrical appliances *** 2:People in a standing position with electrical appliances *** 3:People are in the upright positionwhile turning off the electrical devices)in the living *** measurement methods and their results reinforce the importance of this *** results showed that the average electric field strengthmeasured inMode 2 ismuch greater than the two methods,and we also found less electromagnetic radiation in Mode 3 than in the two *** results remain within the recommended overall exposure developed by the International Committee for the Prevention of Non-Ionizing Radiation and the International Electrotechnical Commission.

Hyperspectral tensor completion (HTC) for remote sensing, critical for advancing space exploration and other satellite imaging technologies, has drawn considerable attention from recent machine learning community. Hyperspectral image (HSI) contains a wide range of narrowly spaced spectral bands hence forming unique electrical magnetic signatures for distinct materials, and thus plays an irreplaceable role in remote material identification. Nevertheless, remotely acquired HSIs are of low data purity and quite often incompletely observed or corrupted during transmission. Therefore, completing the 3-D hyperspectral tensor, involving two spatial dimensions and one spectral dimension, is a crucial signal processing task for facilitating the subsequent applications. Benchmark HTC methods rely on either supervised learning or nonconvex optimization. As reported in recent machine learning literature, John ellipsoid (JE) in functional analysis is a fundamental topology for effective hyperspectral analysis. We therefore attempt to adopt this key topology in this work, but this induces a dilemma that the computation of JE requires the complete information of the entire HSI tensor that is, however, unavailable under the HTC problem setting. We resolve the dilemma, decouple HTC into convex subproblems ensuring computational efficiency, and show state-of-the-art HTC performances of our algorithm. We also demonstrate that our method has improved the subsequent land cover classification accuracy on the recovered hyperspectral tensor. © 2012 IEEE.

The Internet of Things (IoT) detects context through sensors capturing data from dynamic physical environments, in order to inform automation decisions within cyber physical systems (CPS). Diverse types of uncertainty in the IoT pipeline can propagate within and across nodes, involving complex interactions with security, privacy, and trust that remain largely unexplored. This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the types of uncertainties in IoT and how they propagate within IoT nodes and networks. We consider adversarial uncertainty in the context of distributed IoT networks to capture perturbations due to malicious actors in the network that can influence IoT security, privacy and trust. We examine the propagation of adversarial uncertainty and well-known uncertainty types, namely aleatoric and epistemic uncertainty, within the five distinct stages of sensing, communication, storage, processing and decision-making in an IoT pipeline, across network layer boundaries, and across nodes within an IoT network. Using this mapping, we analyse the interactions between the uncertainty types and their propagation, and security, privacy, and trust in IoT. Based on this analysis, we discuss guidelines and considerations for mitigating uncertainty in IoT through a smart grid use case study. © The Author(s) 2024.

The increasing equipment of cars with smart systems and their networking with other devices is leading to a growing network of connected vehicles. Connected cars are Internet of Things (IoT) devices that communicate bidirectionally with other systems, enabling internet access and data exchange. Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers benefits such as autonomous driving, driver assistance programs, and monitoring. The increasing connectivity of cars also brings new risks to users' privacy. Our study focuses on privacy threats in connected cars from a user perspective. Our study provides a comprehensive threat model analysis based on a combination of STRIDE and LINDDUN. We analyze the various threats and vulnerabilities that arise from connecting cars to the internet and other devices, including Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V), Vehicle-to-Vloud (V2C), and Vehicle-to-Device (V2D). We conduct our study based on a theoretical model of a modern-day connected vehicle of another study. Our study shows that several types of threats can negatively impact the privacy of connected car users. This encapsulates the potential risks, such as the inadvertent disclosure of personal data due to the vehicle's interconnectedness with other devices, including smartphones, and the subsequent susceptibility to unauthorized access, while also highlighting the need for robust security measures indicated by our comprehensive threat modeling, to safeguard against a wide array of identified cybersecurity threats. © 2023 IEEE.

The rapid evolution of information systems and the surge in data generation and dissemination have fostered the emergence of Electronic Health Records (EHRs). Specifically, blockchain-enabled EHRs are revolutionizing modern healthcare by centralizing patient data promoting transparency, accessibility, and interoperability. However, amidst increasing cyberattacks on healthcare institutions, the security of these EHRs is a critical concern. Existing research predominantly focuses on the advantages and disadvantages of incorporating blockchain technology into EHRs, leaving a noticeable gap in analyzing specific threats. Our study bridges this gap by leveraging a hybrid threat modeling methodology, integrating attack tree models with an exhaustive review of existing literature on threats to blockchain-based standardized EHRs. This approach has identified and organized 26 unique threats into an attack tree. Each threat is elaborated upon and discussed within the context of the Blockchain EHRs. © 2023 IEEE.
