There are several ways to deal with security issues of confidential data sent via the internet, including using cryptographic techniques and steganography. Steganography is the science and art of concealing information / messages in a media in such a way that its existence is not detected by other parties who are not entitled to the information. Instead, cryptography disguises the meaning of a message, but does not hide that there is a message because the file looks suspicious. The Steganography technique used here was End Of File (EOF). The EOF technique described how to add data or files at the end of the image file. For this technique, the size of data or files that will be hidden could be larger than the size of the image file. The hidden data will be inserted at the end of the file so that it will not affect the image. This steganography application is also equipped with a cryptographic function Data Encryption Standard (DES) at the time of insertion of data that functions as a generator code and encrypts data, so that the security of a data in the file is more protected and protected from those who are not entitled to know the data. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

A system of N two-level atoms cooperatively interacting with a photonic field can be described as a single giant atom coupled to the field with interaction strength ∝ √N. This enhancement, known as Dicke cooperativity in quantum optics, has recently become an indispensable element in quantum information technology based on strong light-matter coupling. Here, we extend the coupling beyond the standard light-matter interaction paradigm, emulating Dicke cooperativity in a terahertz metasurface with N meta-atoms. Cooperative enhancement manifested in the form of matter-matter coupling, through the hybridization of localized surface plasmon resonance in individual meta-atoms and surface lattice resonance due to the periodic array of the meta-atoms. By varying the lattice constant of the array, we observe a clear anticrossing behavior, a signature of strong coupling. Furthermore, through engineering of the capacitive split-gap in the meta-atoms, the coupling rate was cooperatively enhanced into the ultrastrong coupling regime by a factor of √N. This room-temperature technology serves as a convenient quantum emulator of the dynamics of a qubit with a giant dipole moment coherently driven by a single bosonic field. We generated pulses of electromagnetic radiation in the terahertz (THz) frequency range by optical excitation of Co2Fe0.4Mn0.6Si (CFMS)/normal-metal (NM) bilayer structures. The CFMS is a Heusler alloy showing a band gap in one spin channel and is therefore a half metal. We compared the THz emission efficiency in a systematic manner for four different CFMS/NM bilayers, where NM was either Pt, Ta, Cr, or Al. Our measurements show that the THz intensity is highest for a Pt capping. We also demonstrate the tunability of the THz amplitude by varying the magnetic field for all four bilayers. We attribute the THz generation to the inverse spin Hall effect. In order to investigate the role of the interface in THz generation, we measured the spin mixing conductance for each CFMS/NM bilayer using a ferromagnetic resonance method. We found that the spin-orbit coupling cannot completely describe the THz generation in the bilayers and that the spin transmission efficiency of the CFMS/NM interface and the spin diffusion length, as well as the oxidation of the NM layer, play crucial roles in the THz emission process.

Data clustering is a well-known data mining approach that usually used to minimizes the intra distance but maximizes inter distance of each data center. The cluster problem has been proved to be an NP-hard problem. In this paper, a hybrid algorithm based on Whole optimization algorithm (WOA) and Crow search algorithm (CSA) is proposed, namely HWCA. The HWCA algorithm has the advantages of the search strategy of the WOA and CSA. In addition to, there are two operators used to improve the quality of solution, namely hybrid individual operator and enhance diversity operator. The hybrid individual operator is used to exchanges individuals from the WOA and CSA systems by using the roulette wheel approach. In other hand, the HWCA performs enhance diversity operator to improve the quality of each system. More over, the HWCA is incorporated with center optimization strategy to enhance diversity of each system. In the performance evaluation, the proposed MPGO algorithm was comparison WOA and CSA algorithm with six well-known UCI benchmarks. The results show that the proposed algorithm has a higher measure of accuracy rate with comparison algorithms.

Improve of the overall network efficiency between source and destination relay selection and interference free communication is important criteria in WSN. In this paper we are proposing SON based algorithm capable of simultaneous Scheduling and Routing in WSN. The proposes scheme contains the three stages, in first stage the sensor nodes are classified into different clusters and each nodes having different weight based on distance from base station. In second stage the IRSS (Improvised Received Signal Strength) based scheme used select Routing path based on the Node weight, Residual Energy and Probability of Link Loss values of Relay Sensors. On the other side the channel estimation algorithm executed simultaneously with previous two stages. In final we are implementing the Data Logging based Scheduling and Routing scheme (DLSR) for WSN with Energy and Maximized Throughput. We are applying path recovery algorithm in presence of Void path or node failures. The proposed scheme additionally will form the virtual relay path to make communication with nearly zero loss. © 2017 IEEE.

Light-based signal processing in the spatial domain enables parallel computation, resulting in faster operations in comparison to digital-based systems. We propose a basic platform to realize spatial differentiation and integration of the impinging wavefront using a basic array of electric/magnetic dipoles. We also leverage bianisotropic inclusions to realize odd operations on the impinging wavefront. Our results show that a single array of polarizable particles enables sufficient degrees of freedom to realize optical analog computing using metasurfaces. © 2018 IEEE.

Traditional data sources are not sufficient for measuring the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. New and non-traditional sources of data are required. Citizen science is an emerging example of a non-traditional data source that is already making a contribution. In this Perspective, we present a roadmap that outlines how citizen science can be integrated into the formal Sustainable Development Goals reporting mechanisms. Success will require leadership from the United Nations, innovation from National Statistical Offices and focus from the citizen-science community to identify the indicators for which citizen science can make a real contribution.

Metagratings are two-dimensional periodic arrays of individual scatterers that enable highly-efficient extreme wave transformation which was impossible using conventional metasurfaces. We review our recent progress in this area and, notably, discuss metagrating designs based on asymmetric electric dipoles that are practically easier to realize compared to bianisotropic inclusions. In addition, we present the design of a tunable metagrating based on graphene strips. It will be shown that the proposed structure can provide multiple functionalities by tuning just two bias voltages. The efficiency of the proposed design is only limited by dissipation in graphene. © 2018 IEEE.

We present initial results of an ongoing survey with the Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array targeting the CO(J = 1-0) transition in a sample of 30 submillimeter-selected, dusty star-forming galaxies at z = 2-5 with existing mid-J CO detections from ALMA and NOEMA, of which 17 have been fully observed. We detect CO(1-0) emission in 11 targets, along with three tentative (∼1.5-2σ) detections;three galaxies are undetected. Our results yield total molecular gas masses of 6-23×1010(αCO/1) Mo, with gas mass fractions, fgas=Mmol/(M∗+Mmol), of 0.1-0.8 and a median depletion time of (140±70) Myr. We find median CO excitation ratios of r31= 0.75±0.39 and r41= 0.63±0.44, with a significant scatter. We find no significant correlation between the excitation ratio and a number of key parameters such as redshift, CO(1-0) line width or ΣSFR. We only find a tentative positive correlation between r41and the star-forming efficiency, but we are limited by our small sample size. Finally, we compare our results to predictions from the SHARK semi-analytical model, finding a good agreement between the molecular gas masses, depletion times and gas fractions of our sources and their SHARK counterparts. Our results highlight the heterogeneous nature of the most massive star-forming galaxies at high-redshift, and the importance of CO(1-0) observations to robustly constrain their total molecular gas content and ISM properties. Objectives: We sought to model chronic radiation-associated dysphagia (RAD) in patients given intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) for oropharyngeal squamous cell cancer (OPSCC) as a function of age and dose to non-target swallowing muscles. Methods: We reviewed 300 patients with T1-T4 N0-3 M0 OPSCC given definitive IMRT with concurrent chemotherapy. Chronic RAD was defined as aspiration or stricture on videoflouroscopy/endoscopy, gastrostomy tube, or aspiration pneumonia at >= 12 months after IMRT. Doses to autosegmented regions of interest (ROIs;inferior, middle and superior constrictors, anterior and posterior digastrics, mylo/geniohyoid complex, intrinsic tongue, and gengioglossus) were obtained from DICOM-RT plans and dose-volume histograms. The probability of chronic RAD as a function of mean ROI dose, stratified by age (<50, 50-59, 60-69, or >70 years), was estimated with logistic probability models and subsequent unsupervised nonlinear curves. Results: Chronic RAD was observed in 34 patients (11%). Age was a significant correlate of chronic RAD, both independently and with dose for all muscle groups examined. Distinct muscle-specific dose-response profiles were observed as a function of age (e.g., 5% of patients in their 50 s [but 20% of those 70 +] who received 60 Gy to the superior constrictor had chronic RAD). This effect was stable across all observed muscle ROIs, with a false discovery rate-corrected p < 0.05, for all dose/muscle/age models, suggesting that including age as a covariate improves modeling of chronic RAD. Conclusions: Age at treatment moderates the probability of chronic RAD after chemo-IMRT for OPSCC, with aging muscles showing lower dose thresholds.
