This paper examines the thermal condition aspects of traditional Acehnese houses (Rumoh Aceh) in Indonesia. This study highlights the importance of considering traditional architecture in achieving comfortable living conditions. Through the integration of cultural values, architectural design, and environmental factors, this research evaluates the prediction of thermal conditions within Rumoh Aceh based on building orientation and location, serving as guidelines for architects in designing buildings in the Aceh region. The study employs an ANN (Artificial Neural Network) algorithm to predict thermal condition parameters including indoor: temperature, humidity, and wind speed. The sample data used to train the ANN model consists of thermal data from five different rooms and meteorological data. The ANN model is employed to predict the thermal conditions in the Rumoh Aceh building based on its orientation and location. In this study, two models were developed, namely MODEL_01, for predicting indoor temperature and humidity, and MODEL_02, for predicting indoor wind speed. In MODEL_01, the error tolerance level obtained is ±1.05, and in MODEL_02, it is ±0.03. The prediction results based on the building orientation show the lowest average indoor temperature value of 29.19 °C, occurring at an angle of 292.19°. Furthermore, the lowest average indoor humidity value is 74.57 %, which also occurs at an angle of 292.19°. However, for indoor wind speed, the angle of 260° records the lowest average value of 0.125 m/s, while the highest average value is observed at 292.19°, at 0.132 m/s. The prediction results based on the building's location show the lowest average temperature value, which is 29.44 °C in the Aceh Besar region. Furthermore, the lowest average humidity value is 75.11 % in the North Aceh region. Meanwhile, the highest average wind speed value is 0.174 m/s in the Sabang region. This study reveals that at the orientation angle of 292.19° (the qibla direction), it pr

This paper investigates the tracking and erosion performance of silicone rubber filled with alumina trihydrate under DC dry band arcing in the inclined plane tracking and erosion test (IPT). Alumina trihydrate is incorporated into silicone rubber at 50 wt.% loading level for preparing silicone rubber composites, which are exposed to DC dry band arcing under mild and severe voltage levels in the inclined plane tracking and erosion test. Test outcomes indicate that the mechanism of silicone rubber deterioration changes with respect to the severity of the DC dry band arcing. It is found that dry band arcing tends to stimulate surface tracking under mild voltage levels and erosion due to thermal degradation under relatively higher voltage levels (critical). Moreover, test results indicate that silicone rubber erosion is not solely influenced by the dry band arcing power derived from the leakage current, but also dependent on additional contributing mechanisms leading to elevated surface temperatures and severe erosion.

In this paper, the overall health index of underground cable system is determined using Fuzzy Logic and Scoring and Weighting Average methods. The relevant data of 73 feeders has been collected in the prepared evaluation forms, divided into five major component groups: cable, joint, termination, manhole, and ductbank. In each component, various testing methods and diagnostic techniques are applied, and then the numerical score is determined according to the technical criteria for condition assessment. Subsequently, the obtained overall health index is multiplied with the conditional factor to incorporate the differences in installation type and configuration as well as the operating and environmental conditions. Finally, the overall health index based on these two methods is compared to verify the accuracy of the obtained results to properly plan the preventive and condition-based maintenance and to improve the reliability of the underground cable system.

In this research study, we compare the predictive performance of two advanced deep learning-based models in order to provide a solution to TACE (Transarterial Chemoembolization) response prediction in HCC (Hepatocellular Carcinoma) patients. Using entire abdominal CT scans enabled a broader perspective available for the model, eliminating the need for segmentation during the preprocessing. Making use of both single-phase and multi-phase CT imaging, we have used DenseNet121 and have obtained an accuracy of 80% for the multi-phase *** Relevance: The ability to predict the effectiveness of TACE treatment prior to its administration makes it possible to provide a better decision-making aid for physicians and patients.

This paper provides an examination of the impact of lightning strikes on a 220 kV double circuit (D/C) high voltage transmission line in Bhutan. The study employs the ATP-EMTP software to identify the leading causes of transmission line faults, which are primarily attributed to lightning strikes. Since the transmission lines run through areas in Bhutan that are prone to severe weather conditions and lightning strikes, they are vulnerable to damage, leading to an unreliable power supply. To address this issue, the author proposes several solutions, such as enhancing the tower footing resistance and installing line surge arresters. The author also created models of different transmission towers and analyzed an 18 km stretch of the transmission line that is highly susceptible to lightning strikes.

A vast number of technologies based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) have proliferated into various application domains. As part of its objectives to develop agents which can behave and think like humans, some branches of AI have focused on developing various algorithms that can learn from input data without explicitly being programmed. In the food industry, notably in restaurants, smartphone technology is typically used to collect data from customers efficiently such as orders or feedback toward the services provided. The use of smartphones by some restaurants is motivated by their convenience and efficiency. Furthermore, various promotions, discounts, and membership benefits offered by cellular service providers have attracted the use of smartphones as devices for improving restaurant services to their customers. This study aimed to conduct a sentiment analysis related to multi-brand restaurants in Indonesia based on customer feedback. The data retrieved from the Google Play Store consists of 756 reviews from Boga, Champs, Hangry, Ismaya, Kulo, and Union groups. In this study, TF-IDF was used as a vectorizer to represent customer feedback as numeric vectors. The polarity sentiment of customer feedback was recognized using classifier models based on machine learning such as Logistic Regression, Naive Bayes (NB), Random Forest, and Support Vector Machine (SVM) as the classifier. The empirical results showed that SVM has the best accuracy of 93.10 % average accuracy followed by Logistic Regression with 92.41 %, Random Forest with 84.14 % average accuracy, and Naive Bayes with 76.55 % average accuracy.
