This paper presents a grasping convolutional neural network with image segmentation for mobile manipulating robot. The proposed method is cascaded by a feature pyramid network FPN and a grasping network DrGNet. The FPN network combined with point cloud clustering is used to obtain the mask of the target object. Then, the grayscale map and the depth map corresponding to the target object are combined and sent to the DrGNet network for providing multi-scale images. On this basis, depthwise separable convolution is used for encoding. The results of encoders are refined according to the light-weight RefineNet as well as sSE, which can achieve a better grasp detection. The proposed method is verified by the experiments on mobile manipulating robot.

Traffic congestion is a serious problem around the world and to a great extent influences urban communities in various manners including increased stress levels, delayed deliveries, fuel wastage, and monetary losses. Therefore, an accurate congestion prediction algorithm to limit these misfortunes is fundamental. This paper presents a comparative study of traffic congestion prediction systems including decision tree, logistic regression, and neural networks. Five days of traffic information (1,231,200 samples) are utilized to drive the prediction model. The TensorFlow and the Clementine machine learning platforms are used for data preprocessing, training, and testing of the model. The confusion matrix clears that decision tree has better prediction performance and leads the other two methods with accuracy (97%), macro-average precision (95%), macro-average recall (96%), and macro-average F1_score (96%) in the python programming environment. Moreover, performance of the three prediction models is verified in Clementine environment and decision tree outperforms all other models with an accuracy of 97.65%.

Event-based model predictive control of discrete-time non-linear systems with external disturbances

The event-based model predictive control (MPC) problem for discrete-time non-linear control systems with external disturbances is studied. Two triggering conditions are designed based on whether the system state is within the terminal region or not. The first one is triggered outside the terminal region when the difference between the actual system state trajectory and the corresponding optimal state trajectory violates a relative threshold, while the second one is triggered inside the terminal region if the difference between the actual system state trajectory and the predicted nominal state trajectory violates a desired relative threshold. The feasibility analysis and stability analysis are given in detail. Sufficient conditions for feasibility relating to the triggering threshold and disturbance bound are obtained. Sufficient conditions for stability of the event-based control system referring to system parameters, triggering threshold and disturbance bound are given. Besides, the upper bound of the state trajectory is obtained and a robust invariant set that the system state will enter in finite time is given. Finally, simulation examples are given to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Video target tracking is an important research topic in computer vision, and has been widely used in video surveillance, robot, human-computer interaction and so on. The emergence of large data age and the emergence of in-depth learning methods provide a new opportunity for the study of video target tracking. This paper first analyzes the research problems of video target tracking at present, analyzes the characteristics and trends of video target tracking in the new period, introduces the emerging recursive neural network frame structure, combined with Kalman filterAnd the experimental results show that the accuracy and robustness of the target tracking based on the convolution neural network algorithm are all good.

In the field of large-scale SLAM for autonomous driving and mobile robotics, 3D point cloud based place recognition has aroused significant research interest due to its robustness to changing environments with drastic daytime and weather variance. However, it is time-consuming and effort-costly to obtain high-quality point cloud data for place recognition model training and ground truth for registration in the real world. To this end, a novel registration-aided 3D domain adaptation network for point cloud based place recognition is proposed. A structure-aware registration network is introduced to help to learn features with geometric information and a 6-DoFs pose between two point clouds with partial overlap can be estimated. The model is trained through a synthetic virtual LiDAR dataset through GTA-V with diverse weather and daytime conditions and domain adaptation is implemented to the real-world domain by aligning the global features. Our results outperform state-of-the-art 3D place recognition baselines or achieve comparable on the real-world Oxford RobotCar dataset with the visualization of registration on the virtual dataset. This paper proposes a coupling matrix element optimization method for microwave filters. The traditional method is more complex and does not directly optimize the filter coupling matrix elements. The firefly algorithm optimization method used in this paper directly optimizes the elements of the N + 2 order coupling matrix. Compared with the traditional method, it has better speed and optimization effect. First, the elements of the specific coupling matrix are introduced into the optimization algorithm to be executed, then the matrix is iterated through the set objective function. Finally, when the optimized data is within the allowable range, the optimization of the elements of the coupling matrix is stopped and optimization is performed. The resulting coupling matrix outputs the response. To prove the effectiveness of the proposed method, three methods were used to optimize the coupling matrix elements of the fourth-order filter and compare the final optimization results.

In modern power systems, load frequency control (LFC) scheme usually operates in the discrete mode, while the most existing LFC schemes are designed in the continuous mode, such that those LFC schemes do not work usually in their best manner in practice. In this paper, a method of state-feedback controller design of load frequency control (LFC) for one-area system is discussed in continuous-discrete mode via sampled-data control scheme. At first, the model of LFC is constructed in continuous-discrete mode by using the input delay method. Then, a new method is present to design a state-feedback controller. Finally, a case study is given to show the effectiveness and the benefits of the proposed method. © 2018 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

Optimal fusion estimation for stochastic systems with cross-correlated sensor noises

This paper is concerned with the optimal fusion of sensors with cross-correlated sensor *** taking linear transformations to the measurements and the related parameters, new measurement models are established, where the sensor noises are decoupled. The centralized fusion with raw data, the centralized fusion with transformed data, and a distributed fusion estimation algorithm are introduced, which are shown to be equivalent to each other in estimation precision, and therefore are globally optimal in the sense of linear minimum mean square error(LMMSE). It is shown that the centralized fusion with transformed data needs lower communication requirements compared to the centralized fusion using raw data directly, and the distributed fusion algorithm has the best flexibility and robustness and proper communication requirements and computation complexity among the three algorithms(less communication and computation complexity compared to the existed distributed Kalman filtering fusion algorithms). An example is shown to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

This paper proposes the social manufacturing based on Blockchain, which realizes precise and efficient customization through smart contract and distributed accounting. It is a new manufacturing mode of service-oriented, distributed and collaborative customization. This paper proposes the definition of SM based on Blockchain. In the process of using to Blockchain, it can form a strong trust relationship, so that multiple nodes / roles in SM can save the complete copy of the whole database, rather than a centralized permission / role. Secondly, the Blockchain-based SM system is developed for customized manufacturing. Finally, its application case and the optimization results are given. In SM, it is the key that how to transform customized manufacturing actions into socialized actions of manufacturing resources through internet communities and interconnect Socialized Manufacturing Resources (SMRs) in upstream and downstream. In this paper, the smart contract relationship is established based on Blockchain between SMRs to build credit mechanism in SM, Which can ensure the effective circulation and association of SMRs.
