The brain activity can be represented by EEG, which does it by measuring voltage fluctuations in the brain. in this paper, the work intends to develop a Brain-computer Interface-based system that can identify and forecast the class of motor action corresponding to the left or right direction. There are two datasets used in this study, relating to motor movements - left/right-hand movement and eye open/close. The collected data is pre-processed by applying a Convolution Neuron Network to obtain a frequency domain matrix. The result computed by applying CNN provides a condensed representation of the data. The second dataset captured brain impulses corresponding to two states of the eyes opened and eyes closed, over a period of two minutes. This system is designed to effectively separate and utilize signals, with the adoption of AI techniques in these devices emerging as the most viable option for Society. The overall efficiency of this system ranges from 80% to 87%. © 2024 IEEE.

Block synchronization is an essential component of blockchain ***,blockchain systems tend to send all the transactions from one node to another for ***,such a method may lead to an extremely high network bandwidth overhead and significant transmission *** is crucial to speed up such a block synchronization process and save bandwidth consumption.A feasible solution is to reduce the amount of data transmission in the block synchronization process between any pair of ***,existing methods based on the Bloom filter or its variants still suffer from multiple roundtrips of communications and significant synchronization *** this paper,we propose a novel protocol named Gauze for fast block *** utilizes the Cuckoo filter(CF)to discern the transactions in the receiver’s mempool and the block to verify,providing an efficient solution to the problem of set reconciliation in the P2P(Peer-to-Peer Network)*** up to two rounds of exchanging and querying the CFs,the sending node can acknowledge whether the transactions in a block are contained by the receiver’s mempool or *** on this message,the sender only needs to transfer the missed transactions to the receiver,which speeds up the block synchronization and saves precious bandwidth *** evaluation results show that Gauze outperforms existing methods in terms of the average processing latency(about lower than Graphene)and the total synchronization space cost(about lower than Compact Blocks)in different scenarios.

Achieving semantic interoperability in healthcare is one of the significant challenges in the rapidly expanding healthcare sector. On the other hand, IoT in healthcare can provide patient-centric treatment mechanisms to help resolve these issues. When several healthcare organizations are generating heterogeneous medical information, semantic interoperability becomes essential to develop better treatment plans and better medical research. In this article, we discuss the applications of healthcare IoT, a comparative study of existing solution paradigms for achieving semantic interoperability and its enabling technologies. The comprehensive analysis of semantic interoperability has versatile dimensions to meet this, and it establishes deep learning-based directions. In continuing the background work, we proposed a new deep learning model called MedRelBERT with six embeddings to remove linguistic ambiguities in medical documents. Leveraging D-NN trained on neuroimaging data, we can effectively estimate the chronological ages of normal persons;this projected brain age has potential as a biomarker for identifying age-related disorders. The suggested technique employs a CNN cascade network from DL and the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm from ML (SVM). These techniques have been employed to train MRI scans of the brain, classifying them into regular (unaffected by illness), Alzheimer’s disorder (AD), and neurocognitive disability. That we also have the ability to determine ages thanks to the age classifications on the photos. The brain MRI collection is trained using CNN and SVM, on which the classifications and age estimate will be carried out. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Vehicular ad hoc Networks (VANETs) can be designed in a way to organize road protection with no specific need for any fixed infrastructure. Accordingly, the movement of all vehicles can be planned according to perceived information, and Quality of Services Routing (QoSR) algorithms can be pressured according to its available options, paths, and links, and according to the criteria and reliability of the QoSR. Ensure that QoSR is aware of the environment of the network of vehicles, including location of vehicles, direction, and speed. This study is to reduce the effects of unpredictable problems on the best pathway to replace the broken path/link. A QoSR with Particle Swarm Optimization (QoSR-PSO) is used in this article for improving QoSs in vehicular ad hoc networks. By modeling the behavior of a group of particles, particle swarm optimization algorithms find the best possible solution to the problem. In order to perform simulation experiments, NS2 simulator and VanetMobisim have been used. Profanity detection has become increasingly important in various industries, including media and online content moderation. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to identifying profane words from audio using natural language processing (NLP) techniques. We first convert the audio files into textual transcripts using automatic speech recognition (ASR) tools. We then apply pre-processing techniques such as tokenization, stemming, and stop-word removal to the transcripts. Finally, we train various machine learning models, such as Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machines (SVMs), and Random Forests, to classify the transcripts as either containing profane language or not. The proposed approach can be integrated into various applications, such as content moderation tools, online chat systems, and automatic transcription services. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

In recent years, cloud computing has witnessed widespread applications across numerous organizations. Predicting workload and computing resource data can facilitate proactive service operation management, leading to substantial improvements in quality of service and cost efficiency. However, these data often exhibit non-linearity, high volatility, and interdependencies across different categories, presenting challenges for accurate forecasting. Consequently, there is a critical need to develop a method that thoroughly and comprehensively analyzes all available data to forecast future trends effectively. This work proposes a novel integrated data-enhanced prediction model named SVAPI for achieving high-accuracy workload prediction in cloud computing systems. SVAPI employs the Savitzky-Golay filter, Variational mode decomposition, and the mode selection based on Amplitude-aware Permutation entropy for feature processing, whose features are subsequently utilized by Informer for multivariate joint analysis of the enhanced data, achieving high-precision prediction. Ablation and comparative experiments with advanced prediction models are conducted on the Google cluster trace and other typical datasets. Realistic data-driven results indicate that SVAPI improves the prediction accuracy by 37.7% compared to the original Informer, with each module contributing to the performance enhancement. Furthermore, compared with Autoformer, SVAPI enhances the prediction accuracy of workload, CPU, and memory by 65.6%, 66.9%, and 70.8%, respectively, demonstrating that SVAPI owns strong abilities in noise filtering, feature processing, and multivariate joint analysis for achieving higher prediction accuracy. © 2014 IEEE.
