A 0-3 piezoelectric composite material composed of piezoelectric ceramic particles and polymers combines the performance advantages of both components and has broad prospects for applications in piezoelectric pressure sensors, and 3D printing technology provides a good solution for fabricating complex structures of piezoelectric pressure sensors. However, the current research on stereolithography 3D printing for fabricating piezoelectric appliances focuses on the printing of photosensitive piezoelectric composite slurry, and the piezoelectric output of piezoelectric composites prepared with slurry is low due to the low solid content of the slurry, and an inability to stably store the slurry for a prolonged duration. To improve the piezoelectric output performance, this study investigated the material system and structural design of stereolithography 3D printing of piezoelectric composites based on the dispersion stability of the piezoelectric ceramic paste. The results revealed that 72 wt% paste prepared with oleic acid-grafted and modified piezoelectric ceramic particles has good stability, and the piezoelectric voltage constant of the piezoelectric composites fabricated with paste was 220.2 × 10-3Vm‧N-1, and the piezoelectric sensitivity of the piezoelectric composite after topology optimization could reach 30 mV·kPa-1. A conformal pressure sensor prepared using photocuring 3D printing technology can effectively detect the compressive stress of curved surfaces. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

False data injection attack(FDIA) is a traditional attack for the smart grid. There are many methods for the detection of the FDIA, but few of them can send the attack alarm successfully without an attack model. In this paper, we propose a reinforcement learning-based FDIA detection method for the distributed smart grid. The detection problem is formulated as a partially observable Markov decision process(POMDP) problem, and the observation of the POMDP can be obtained from the estimation of state and attack which come from the Kalman filter. By using the Sarsa algorithm, we can get a Q-table through online training. Finally, we use the IEEE-118 bus power system to evaluate the performance of our detector, and numerical results show the accurate response for the FDIA.

In the industrial field, compound faults often occur on rolling bearings and it's difficult to diagnose them correctly. To solve this problem, this article proposes a CNN-ELM compound fault diagnosis method based on joint distribution modification. Firstly, considering the complementarity and coupling of data from multiple sensors, a data input trick of multi-sensor data connected in parallel is designed. Secondly, due to the discrepancy of distribution between the compound fault data features and the single fault data features, the marginal distribution matrix and the posterior distribution matrix are used to modify the CNN-ELM network, so that the network can extract more reliable data features for fault diagnosis. Finally, referring to the categories and criteria of bearing damage proposed by Paderborn University, the label code is defined. The corresponding data set is used to verify the proposed algorithm. Experimental results show that the algorithm can accurately obtain detailed fault information such as fault location, fault type, and fault severity. © 2020 IEEE.

2D/3D medical image registration of pre-operative volumes and intra-operative images plays an important role in neurological interventions. However, vast space of transformation parameters makes this task incredibly challenging. In this paper, a novel two-stage framework for 2D/3D registration is proposed. It consists of two basic modules: CNN regression for preliminarily estimating transformation parameters, and centroid alignment for further reducing estimation errors to get refined images. Experimental results on two patients show the proposed framework can achieve superior performances to baseline methods with an inference rate of 22 FPS, satisfying real-time requirements (612 FPS) in clinical practice. Extensive ablation studies prove the effectiveness of centroid alignment in significantly improving registration accuracies. These promising results indicate the framework has the potential to be integrated into navigation frameworks for neurological interventions, facilitating treatments of physicians. © 2022 IEEE.

The proliferation of Internet-connected mobile devices has been a driving force in the evolution of mobile computing. Battery life and computational limitations inherent to these devices have steered mobile applications towards the cloud computing paradigm. However, this shift has exacerbated issues such as data congestion, slow transfer speeds, and subpar user experiences due to the increased volume of data transferred over the Internet. To alleviate the dependence of mobile devices on the cloud, various alternative network technologies and collaborative computing algorithms have been proposed. This paper introduces one such algorithm, entitled Community Clustering, grounded in dynamic short-term network establishment. It serves as an alternative mobile computing solution, emphasizing collaborative task computation across all devices. Tasks are intelligently routed to devices with lower workloads, employing optimal battery-preserving transfer technologies. Within this paper, we present a practical scenario of this algorithm, and, through an empirical evaluation through simulations, we show that collaborative computing can reduce cloud usage by 67%, while still ensuring a satisfactory user experience. © 2023, The Authors. Sensor network localization (SNL) problems require determining the physical coordinates of all sensors in a network. This process relies on the global coordinates of anchors and the available measurements between non-anchor and anchor nodes. Attributed to the intrinsic non-convexity, obtaining a globally optimal solution to SNL is challenging, as well as implementing corresponding algorithms. In this paper, we formulate a non-convex multi-player potential game for a generic SNL problem to investigate the identification condition of the global Nash equilibrium (NE) therein, where the global NE represents the global solution of SNL. We employ canonical duality theory to transform the non-convex game into a complementary dual problem. Then we develop a conjugation-based algorithm to compute the stationary points of the complementary dual problem. On this basis, we show an identification condition of the global NE: the stationary point of the proposed algorithm satisfies a duality relation. Safe and effective path planning of multiple combat vehicles engaged in antagonistic environments keeps a challenging problem. Based on the application background of multi-robots in cooperative reconnaissance of enemy camps in environment with traps, this paper studies the multi-agent path planning based on bionic algorithms and artificial potential field method. The proposed bionic PP-AP Sarsa Scheme is inspired by food-finding scheme of Physarum Polycephalum (PP), which can effectively solve the dimensional explosion problem of traditional multi-agent reinforcement learning methods. This paper first studies the single-agent bionic planning problem with the PP algorithm to initialize the Q table used in Sarsa-based reinforcement learning, which effectively reduces the search space and accelerates the convergence speed of the early stage of reinforcement learning. After the Q tables in the same map are obtained through the training of different single agents, the Q tables of every agents are extended to multi-agents scenario by the assistance of simplified artificial potential field, hence a composite parallel path planner named RL-APCP 3 is constructed to synchronously update the actions of all of the agents, which allows us to complete the coordinated and efficient search of enemy camps by multiple agents. Compared with the Sarsa path planning algorithm of single agent, the efficiency of this scheme is improved up to 55.22%.

Active techniques have been introduced to give better detectability performance for cyber-attack diagnosis in cyber-physical systems (CPS). In this paper, switching multiplicative watermarking is considered, whereby we propose an optimal design strategy to define switching filter parameters. Optimality is evaluated exploiting the so-called output-to-output gain of the closed loop system, including some supposed attack dynamics. A worst-case scenario of a matched covert attack is assumed, presuming that an attacker with full knowledge of the closed-loop system injects a stealthy attack of bounded energy. Our algorithm, given watermark filter parameters at some time instant, provides optimal next-step parameters. Analysis of the algorithm is given, demonstrating its features, and demonstrating that through initialization of certain parameters outside of the algorithm, the parameters of the multiplicative watermarking can be randomized. Microfluidics-based digital PCR (dPCR) is a potent technique capable of absolute quantification of nucleic acids with ultrahigh sensitivity. However, an indispensable process, nucleic acid extraction (NAE) remains hard to be integrated with dPCR into a monolithic device, because both of them involve complicated processes and exquisite fluid manipulation. An ideal solution to this issue is to integrate the two main microfluidic platforms, channel-based microfluidics (CMF) and digital microfluidics (DMF), which, however, remains very challenging. To address these challenges, we herein develop a photofabricated channel-digital microfluidic chip (pCDMF) with significant advantages including: the fabrication of pCDMF is very convenient due to the flexible material choices of photocuring, without tedious process of hydrophobic coating;a parallel-plate configuration can be easily formed, enabling all basic functions of DMF;various channels and microstructures can be freely designed, allowing for fluidic functions of CMF. It is therefore the first example of full integration of DMF and CMF as a monolithic device, with capabilities to precisely handle both discrete droplets and continuous fluids. Finally, an all-in-one device for sample-to-answer digital PCR has been successfully demonstrated. We also envisioned that the pCDMF may open an alternative route toward the fully integrated lab-on-a-chip for various biological applications. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Mechanical alloying plays a crucial role in controlling and enhancing the characteristics of powder materials which in turn influence the quality and performance of thermal spray coatings. In this study, the optimal milling parameters for mechanical alloying were determined, specifically a rotational speed of 60 rpm, a milling period of 6 hours, and wet milling conditions. These settings led to the best preparation of feedstock powder, resulting in a minimal particle size of 17.5 µm and a narrow particle size dispersion. The observed extensive cataracting and impact zones at this rotational speed of 60 rpm corresponded to 65 of the % critical speed, indicating enhanced milling efficiency. Additionally, DEM modeling demonstrated good agreement with experimental findings, indicating enhanced milling efficiency. Additionally, DEM modeling demonstrated good agreement with experimental findings, highlighting that this rotational speed induced a cataracting regime characterized by a broad zone of impacted particles, yielding the highest impact velocity of 1.79 m/s and a ball indenter force interaction of 1.19 N.
