In the field of railway transportation, with the continuous improvement of train running speed and the continuous increase of operating mileage, it becomes particularly important to ensure the safety and integrity of small-Target infrastructure along the railway train. Although many small-Target detection methods have been proposed, the research on small-Target infrastructure detection along rail trains is very rare. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a small-Target infrastructure detection network with spatial tracking and multi-level feature extraction based on Yolov8n. The experimental results show that ST-YOLO has a 3.6% mAP improvement on the OSDaR23 dataset compared to the baseline Yolov8n, and shows significant advantages over other state-of-The-Art methods. © 2024 IEEE.

DNA triple helix structure, as a highly specific gene targeting tool, enable gene regulation by precisely identifying and binding to target DNA sequences. However, the limits of design quality and efficiency affect their wide application in gene therapy. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an antiparallel DNA triple helixes design method-MFN based on matrix chaotic game representation (mCGR) and flow network. Leveraging the structural characteristics of DNA sequences, this method employs the mCGR algorithm to construct an initial matrix, generating a set of DNA sequences that conform to foundational constraints. Then, these sequences are mapped as stream network nodes to screen crosstalk structures by path search, and the whole process is observable and interpretable. Experimental results show that MFN significantly improves the design efficiency of triple helix structure and reduces crosstalk phenomenon. Wet experiments further verify the effectiveness of the method. In summary, MFN achieves an efficient and high-quality design of DNA triple helixes and provides a new idea for targeted gene therapy.

Rsta: A Reversible Signal Transmission Architecture for Breaking the Limitation of Unidirectional Transmission

Molecular circuits are essential tools for biosensing and molecular information processing. However, the long-distance and reversible transmission of orthogonal signals remains a significant challenge in molecular circuits, preventing molecular signals from achieving reversible transmission similar to that of electrical signals in wires. To overcome the limitations of unidirectional signal transmission and facilitate the integration of antagonistic circuits. We propose a reversible signal transmission architecture (RSTA) with wire-like characteristics to achieve reversible signal transmission based on fundamental molecular devices known as reversible signal fan-out devices (RSFDs). The polarity of the input signal dictates the transmission direction, establishing the initial condition for the output signals. Cascaded RSFDs within RSTA offer two key advantages. First, the temporal response to signals. Second, the reversible transformation of opposite circuit types without structural modification. We experimentally validated the principles and functionality of RSTA using temporal logic device and integrated molecular circuits. This work advances the field of reversible molecular signal transmission, enabling the rational design of complex molecular circuits and molecular information processing systems. We envision applications of this technology in nanomachines, molecular computing, and biosensing. © 2025, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Active disturbance-rejection methods are effective in estimating and rejecting disturbances in both transient and steady-state *** paper presents a deep observation on and a comparison between two of those methods:the generalized extended-state observer(GESO)and the equivalent input disturbance(EID)from assumptions,system configurations,stability conditions,system design,disturbance-rejection performance,and extensibility.A time-domain index is introduced to assess the disturbance-rejection performance.A detailed observation of disturbance-suppression mechanisms reveals the superiority of the EID approach over the GESO method.A comparison between these two methods shows that assumptions on disturbances are more practical and the adjustment of disturbance-rejection performance is easier for the EID approach than for the GESO method.

While promising results have been achieved in weakly-supervised semantic segmentation (WSSS), limited supervision from image-level tags inevitably induces discriminative reliance and spurious relations between target classes and background regions. Thus, Class Activation Map (CAM) usually tends to activate discriminative object regions and falsely includes lots of class-related backgrounds. Without pixel-level supervisions, it could be very difficult to enlarge the foreground activation and suppress those false activation of background regions. In this paper, we propose a novel framework of Cross Language Image Matching with Automatic Context Discovery (CLIMS++), based on the recently introduced Contrastive Language-Image Pre-training (CLIP) model, for WSSS. The core idea of our framework is to introduce natural language supervision to activate more complete object regions and suppress class-related background regions in CAM. In particular, we design object, background region, and text label matching losses to guide the model to excite more reasonable object regions of each category. In addition, we propose to automatically find spurious relations between foreground categories and backgrounds, through which a background suppression loss is designed to suppress the activation of class-related backgrounds. The above designs enable the proposed CLIMS++ to generate a more complete and compact activation map for the target objects. Extensive experiments on PASCAL VOC 2012 and MS COCO 2014 datasets show that our CLIMS++ significantly outperforms the previous state-of-the-art methods. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

While significant progress has been made in multi-modal learning driven by large-scale image-text datasets, there is still a noticeable gap in the availability of such datasets within the facial domain. To facilitate and advance the field of facial representation learning, we present FLIP-80M, a large-scale visual-linguistic dataset comprising over 80 million face images paired with text descriptions. FLIP-80M is constructed by leveraging the large openly available image-text-pair dataset LAION-5B and a mixed-method approach to filter face-related pairs from both visual and linguistic perspectives. Our curation process involves face detection, face caption classification, text de-noising, and synthesis-based image augmentation. As a result, FLIP-80M stands as the largest face-text dataset to date. To evaluate the potential of our dataset, we fine-tune the CLIP model using the proposed FLIP-80M, to create FLIP (Facial Language-Image Pretraining) and assess its representation capabilities across various downstream tasks. Our experiments demonstrate that our FLIP model achieves state-of-the-art results in a range of face analysis tasks, including face parsing, face alignment, and face attribute classification. An important goal in synthetic biology is in the design and implementation of control strategies embedded in biochemical reaction systems to enable control of the process at the molecular level. The problem of set-point tracking and perturbation disturbances in the biochemical reaction process can be solved by a state feedback control strategy and a more stable and better dynamic performance of synthetic controllers. First, it is shown how a set of CRNs can provide state feedback to the biomolecular implementation of the H∞ controller. Then, to facilitate the modularity of biochemical process design, CRNs of trigonometric functions and repetitive sequence step signals are defined for the first time as input signals to the controller. Finally, numerical simulation experiments are designed to verify the effectiveness of the whole scheme from several perspectives, such as setpoint tracking and external perturbations. The results show that the state feedback H∞ molecular controller outperforms the conventional linear controller because it has a faster tracking response and better perturbation rejection performance. © 2023 IEEE.

Diffusion models have made significant contributions to computer vision, sparking a growing interest in the community recently regarding the application of them to graph generation. Existing discrete graph diffusion models exhibit heightened computational complexity and diminished training efficiency. A preferable and natural way is to directly diffuse the graph within the latent space. However, due to the non-Euclidean structure of graphs is not isotropic in the latent space, the existing latent diffusion models effectively make it difficult to capture and preserve the topological information of graphs. To address the above challenges, we propose a novel geometrically latent diffusion framework HypDiff. Specifically, we first establish a geometrically latent space with interpretability measures based on hyperbolic geometry, to define anisotropic latent diffusion processes for graphs. Then, we propose a geometrically latent diffusion process that is constrained by both radial and angular geometric properties, thereby ensuring the preservation of the original topological properties in the generative graphs. Extensive experimental results demonstrate the superior effectiveness of HypDiff for graph generation with various topologies. Copyright 2024 by the author(s)

The review of standard declaration of import and export commodities refers to the evaluation of whether the declaration information of the commodities filled in by enterprises conforms to the customs filling standards according to the standardized declaration catalogue The manual review method cannot meet the actual work needs. Therefore, using text classification algorithm to conduct this task is necessary. The classification method based on the pre-training model would rely on the keywords. However, for the review of standard declaration task, excessive reliance on keywords will reduce the classification effect because of ignoring the overall information of the text. keyword mask pre-training model is proposed. In the fine-tuning stage, the model designs a keyword masking strategy and a keyword blinding strategy. The keyword masking strategy regularizes the BERT model with a mask mechanism, that is, the keywords are reconstructed with other text information except keywords, so that the model focuses on non-keywords information; keyword blinding strategy makes the model unable to distinguish the categories of text information without contextual text information, which can eliminate the influence of keywords on model decision-making. The experimental results on the real customs declaration data set showing that the method in this thesis exceeds the baseline method in terms of precision and true negative rate.

Event-level Financial Sentiment Analysis (EFSA) aims to extract all the quintuples containing five sentiment elements from a given financial news text, which has gained prominence as an emerging domain recently. The present study utilizes a 4-hop Chain-of-Thought (CoT) prompting based on LLMs to predict sentiment elements in a fixed order, which neglects the interdependencies among the sentiment elements within a quintuple. Inspired by recent multi-view prompting (MvP) and CoT ideas, we propose a novel framework termed Retrieval-Augmented Multipath Chain-of-Thought (RMP-CoT) that aggregates quintuples generated by LLMs through different reasoning paths, leveraging a retrieval-augmented mechanism. Specifically, RMP-CoT integrates different element orders into CoT prompting to guide LLMs in generating multiple sentiment quintuples through the utilization of retrieval-augmented mechanism, and then selects the most plausible quintuples by voting. To investigate the effectiveness of our framework, we conduct extensive experiments on four benchmark tasks of EFSA. RMP-CoT pushes the state-of-the-art by over 6% F1 on the EFSA task and also performs quite effectively on the other sub-tasks of EFSA. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
