Sentence alignment, as one of the most active and fundamental tasks in the field of natural language processing (NLP), is usually realized in two categories of methods. One is traditional methods which are firstly proposed, the other, which are adopted later, is based on the Neural Network method. Presently, under the limitation that the existing mainstream data corpora are mostly in the form of 1-to-1, the alignment models with relatively good performance mainly apply to the cases of 1-to-1 sentence alignment. However, under the circumstance that a sentence contains too much information, 1-to-N sentence alignment can actually have a better effect on sentence translation tasks, compared with the 1-to-1 form, since it is more flexible and can reduce the complexity of the original sentence. As a result, we attempt to exploit neural networks with relatively good performance in the cases of 1-to-1 to fit in the cases of 1-to-N. In this paper, a novel 1-N Bilingual word Embedding with Sentence Combination CNN Improved Framework (1-NBESCC) is proposed in order to align 1-to-N sentences more precisely. Experiments show that our proposed model performs as good as the traditional methods such as BLEUALIGN in 1-to-1 situation, but much better in 1-to-N situation.

A miniaturized filtering power divider with wide stopband based on quarter-mode substrate integrated waveguide (QMSIW) is proposed. The physical size of the QMSIW is reduced by 3/4 comparing with the traditional SIW structure, which can achieve miniaturization, and its electromagnetic field distribution has little effect. Using the metal interference column and the etched U-shaped groove to adjust the resonance frequency, so that the main mode and the first higher mode form a passband, meanwhile, suppressing the second higher mode. The simulation results show that the center frequency is 4.42 GHz with insertion loss of 0.45 dB, the 3-dB bandwidth is 4.12-4.63 GHz with a fractional bandwidths of 9.7%, and there is a great stopband up to 11 GHz with 15 dB rejection level. Besides, the return loss of passband is better than 17.5 dB. To verify the validity of this design, a prototype is fabricated and measured. The measured results demonstrate that it has a good agreement with the design simulations.

RGB-Thermal object tracking attempts to locate target object using complementary visual and thermal infrared data. Existing RGB-T trackers fuse different modalities by robust feature representation learning or adaptive modal weighting. However, how to integrate dual attention mechanism for visual tracking is still a subject that has not been studied yet. In this paper, we propose two visual attention mechanisms for robust RGB-T object tracking. Specifically, the local attention is implemented by exploiting the common visual attention of RGB and thermal data to train deep classifiers. We also introduce the global attention, which is a multimodal target-driven attention estimation network. It can provide global proposals for the classifier together with local proposals extracted from previous tracking result. Extensive experiments on two RGB-T benchmark datasets validated the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm.

This research applies ant colony optimization (ACO) algorithm to minimizing the makespan and the maximum tardiness for scheduling the jobs with non-identical sizes and release time on parallel batch process machines. To improve search efficiency, a new first job selection strategy and a dynamic heuristic are provided. Additionally, a new role, called P-ANT, is designed to improve the search ability of the ant colony. To solve the studied problem, a novel multi-objective ACO algorithm with P-ANT (MACOP) is proposed. The MACOP is compared with several other state-of-the-art algorithms through extensive experiments. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed MACOP algorithm.

This paper designs a broadband circularly polarized antenna covering the 25 GHz to 31 GHz band. The Vivaldi antenna is used as the basic structure to generate broadband electromagnetic waves; circular polarization is achieved by feeding through a circularly polarized bridge; a metal choke ring is used at the bottom to ensure the low side lobes of the antenna. The antenna consists of four basic Vivaldi antennas, a metal choke ring, a grounded substrate, and a feed network. The results show that the antenna covers the entire frequency band when the axial ratio is lower than 3 dB, and the impedance matching is better. The use of a choke ring structure ensures that the antenna electromagnetic waves are radiated upward, resulting in higher gain and lower side lobes. The highest gain in the included frequency band is 11.4 dB, and the simulation result is good. The antenna has high gain and low sidelobe characteristics.
