Dynamic community mining based on behavior prediction

Dynamic network research has been a new trend in recent years. Based on the influence of vertex behavior on community structure, this paper studies signed network dynamic community mining. Firstly, the set pair connection degree is introduced to describe the relation between vertices, and the edge prediction model of signed network is proposed by taking into account the variability of the relation between vertices. Secondly, based on the prediction model, a set pair signed networks dynamic model is proposed by adding time axis T to the signed network. Then, based on the dynamic model, the evolution of signed networks and community discovering are studied. Finally, network evolution law and community stability are analyzed by using the connection trend and connection entropy in set pair theory, and the accuracy and validity of the dynamic community mining algorithm are verified by experiments. © 2018 Totem Publishers Ltd. Static image is an important form of displaying a sketch, representing the appearance information of the sketch. And a stroke sequence composed of several points can also express the shape and contour information of the sketch. Therefore, it is very reasonable to treat a sketch as point-modal data and image-modal data simultaneously. In this paper, a method based on bi-modal model using cooperative learning paradigm is proposed for the sketch recognition task. Specifically, in the point-modal branch, a structural point convolution block is developed by properly dividing local regions to preserve the structural information. In the image-modal branch, the hierarchical residual structure is used to fully extract image-modal features. To reduce the negative impact of noisy samples on the recognition performance, a cooperative learning paradigm is designed based on different perceptual abilities of two modal branches on noisy samples, that is, when training the two branches, the noisy samples can be filtered out through information exchanges and mutual learning. Extensive experiments on the sketch datasets TU-Berlin and QuickDraw show that the proposed method outperforms most baseline methods and has many advantages such as no dependence on additional data and stroke information. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2024.

In this paper, we focus on the design of irregular QC-LDPC code based multi-level coded modulation(MLCM) scheme by jointly optimizing the component code rate and the degree distribution of the irregular QC-LDPC component code. Firstly, the sub-channel capacities of MLCM systems is analyzed and discussed, based on which the optimal component code rate can be obtained. Secondly, an extrinsic information transfer chart based two-stage searching algorithm is proposed to find the good irregular QC-LDPC code ensembles with optimal component code rates for their corresponding sub-channels. Finally, by constructing the irregular QC-LDPC component codes from the designed ensembles with the aim of possibly enlarging the girth and reducing the number of the shortest cycles, the designed irregular QC-LDPC code based 16QAM and 64QAM MLCM systems can achieve 0.4 dB and 1.2 dB net coding gain, respectively, compared with the recently proposed regular QC-LDPC code based 16QAM and 64QAM MLCM systems.

The data structure is becoming more and more complex, and the scale of the data set is getting larger and larger. The strong limitations and instability in the high-dimensional data environment is showed in traditional outlier detection method. To solve the problems, an Optimal subspace Analysis based on Information-entropy Increment is proposed. The concepts such as mutual information and dimensional entropy to re-portrait the indicators that measure the pros and cons of subspace clustering, optimize the objective function of the clustering subspace, and obtain the optimal subspace. According to the idea of dividing the information entropy increment by one, the entropy outlier score is proposed as a metric to detect outliers in the optimal subspace. Finally, experiments verify the effectiveness of the algorithm. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Pick and place (PAP) skill learning is a fundamental ability of intelligent robots, such as home service robot. Due to the NP-hard nature of the PAP problem, it takes a long time for an intelligent robot to learn the PAP skill based on current methods. In order to improve the learning efficiency of robot PAP skills, this paper proposes a Soft-DDQN-based PAP skill learning method. Firstly, the Soft-DDQN is proposed by introducing maximum entropy into robot DDQN framework, and the learning goal of Soft-DDQN is to maximize reward and information entropy. Secondly, PAP problem is modelled as a discrete form and Soft-DDQN is applied to solve the PAP problem. Finally, in order to verify the efficiency of Soft-DDQN-based PAP skill learning, comparisons have been given from two standard perspectives and shown that Soft-DDQN improves efficiency of PAP skill learning evidently. © 2022 Institute of Physics Publishing. The Amodal Instance Segmentation (AIS) task aims to infer the visible and occluded regions of an object instance. Existing AIS methods typically focus on directly predicting visible and occluded regions or leveraging prior knowledge to guide predictions. However, these methods often ignore the perception of occluded views, leading to inaccurate results. To address this issue and achieve high-quality AIS, we propose a boundary-aware Occlusion Perception Network (OPNet). OPNet consists of three main components: the Dynamic Feature Augmentation Pyramid (DFAP), the Dual-path Boundary Aware Module (DBAM), and the Shape-guide Refinement Module (SRM). Specifically, DBAM employs an occlusion-perception strategy to learn discriminative features with boundary information, enabling it to distinguish occlusion from multiple views. Additionally, DFAP and SRM optimize the results by enhancing feature aggregation and imposing geometric constraints. Experiments on the D2SA, KINS, and CWALT datasets show that OPNet significantly outperforms state-of-the-art AIS methods that without prior knowledge. The existing robust collaborative recommendation algorithms have low robustness against PIA and Ao P attacks. Aiming at the problem, we propose a robust recommendation method based on shilling attack detection and matrix factorization model. Firstly, the type of shilling attack is identified based on statistical characteristics of attack profiles. Secondly, we devise corresponding unsupervised detection algorithms for standard attack, Ao P and PIA, and the suspicious users and items are flagged. Finally, we devise a robust recommendation algorithm by combining the proposed shilling attack detection algorithm with matrix factorization model, and conduct experiments on the Movie Lens dataset to demonstrate its effectiveness. Experimental results show that the proposed method exhibits good recommendation precision and excellent robustness for shilling attacks of multiple types.

In this paper, two new methods of constructing ternary sequence pairs based on cyclotomy are presented. The ternary sequence pairs with three-level correlation are constructed based on cyclotomic numbers of order 4. And the ternary sequence pairs with four-level correlation are constructed based on cyclotomic numbers of order 6. The two methods cover all the prime period respectively. © 2015 ICIC International.

Friend recommendation is a fundamental service for both social networks and practical applications. The majority of existing friend-recommendation methods utilize user profiles, social relationships, or static post content data, but rarely consider the semantic intentions and dynamic behaviors of users. In this paper, we propose FRec++, a friend recommendation method based on semantic and dynamic information. In FRec++, the first plus stands for new friend recommendation using a semantic model based on LDA while the next plus stands for the use of dynamic user attributes (e.g., behaviors or positions). More specifically, we first use the LDA method to generate semantic topics for user interests, and then compute the topic similarities between the target user and candidate friends. Next, we calculate the similarities of dynamic behaviors (i.e., forwarding, making comments, liking, and replying) and investigate the static attributes of users to measure the relevance of preferences. Finally, the weighted average method is used to integrate the above factors. We conducted experiments on the Weibo dataset and the results show that FRec++ outperforms several existing methods. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2018.

This paper proposes an automatic data extraction algorithm for web pages based on noise reduction and visualization blocks' construction. In this algorithm, we first build an MD5 trigeminal tree of the web page's source files using a Message-Digest Algorithm. And then we arrange some noise reduction. Finally, we construct visualization blocks by an optimized cluster algorithm named BIRCH A-CF which could create an area clustering feature forest and complete the clustering by dynamically changing the circle's radius according to the correction factor. We perform experiments on eight different datasets to compare our method with eight baseline methods. The experimental results show that our approach outperforms current methods by providing more accuracy and robustness, it also accelerates noise reduction and reduces the number of nodes effectively. © 2022 SPIE.
