Obtaining high-resolution images at centimeter-or-longer wavelengths is vital for understanding the physics of jets. We reconstructed images from the M87 22 GHz data observed with the East Asian VLBI Network (EAVN) by using the regularized maximum likelihood (RML) method, which is different from the conventional imaging method CLEAN. Consequently, a bright core and jet extending about 30 mas to the northwest were detected with a higher resolution than in the CLEAN image. The width of the jet was 0.5 mas at 0.3 mas from the core, consistent with the width measured in the 86 GHz image in the previous study. In addition, three ridges were able to be detected at around 8 mas from the core, even though the peak-to-peak separation was only 1.0 mas. This indicates that the RML image's spatial resolution is at least 30% higher than that of the CLEAN image. This study is an important step for future multi-frequency and high-cadence observations of the EAVN to discuss the more detailed structure of the jet and its time variability. © 2023, CC BY-SA.

In latest motor control area, traditional voltage model is affected by variation of stator resistance and pure integration element of back electromotive force under the circumstance of low speed, whose effects would easily cause observation errors and lower motor speed control precision. Adaptive internal model control (AIMC for short) structure can adapt to stator resistance parameters variation and improve control precision. Cascaded Low pass filter (LPF for short) with compensation structure was proposed to revise amplitude and phase of observed flux linkage. The paper proposed the theory of AIMC and LPC, the structure would improve the accuracy of flux observer. At the same time, disturbance eliminating with compensation structure was put forward to improve the system anti-interference ability. Finally, PSIM *** used to build and simulate AC-DC-AC synchronous machine vector control system. Experiment results showed that the improved voltage model can effectively restrain the effects of stator resistance parameters variation. At the same time, precision of flux observer was effectively improved. Anti-interference ability of system was enhanced with nice tracking performance and robustness. © 2018 Computer Society of the Republic of China. All Rights Reserved.

In this paper, the circuit parameters of the Class-E power amplifier are investigated and optimized to achieve the maximum of output power and efficiency in a two-coil Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) system. The circuit is simulated with software named Saber. Working frequency, the value of capacitors and inductor, which has relationship with the output power and efficiency, are investigated during the simulation. With the simulation results, it is found that the frequency and the shunt capacitor need to be optimized for high performance of the wireless power transfer system.

A compact terahertz continuous wave (CW) discharge-pumped Hydrogen cyanide (HCN) dual laser has been developed for better signal to noise ratio and higher time resolution, with active power and intermediate frequency (IF) control. The output power of about 110 mW on the 0.89 THz line has been obtained with 1 m long and 50 mm inner diameter dual discharge-pumped wave-guides laser. An output-power and IF feedback control system is applied to the HCN dual laser for output power and IF stability. This feedback system consists of two stepping motors, a piezoelectric ceramics (PZT), a PLC, a supervisory computer and the corresponding control program. The whole feedback control system can successful in stabilizing the power of the laser around 110 mW and the IF at around 1MHz in several hours. © 2018 IEEE.

Blackbody radiation source is a key equipment in the traceability process of temperature measurement. In infrared temperature measurement, stable and consistent temperature control of the blackbody radiation sources is required. And in the process of calibration, it is a key element that a blackbody radiation source can produce a fixed temperature. Effective control of its temperature is, therefore, crucial. Due to the change of parameters and the uncertainty of loads, the performance requirements for conventional Proportional, Integral and Differential (PID) controller are high. But the control effect of the conventional PID controller on the temperature control system is not perfect. So the Fuzzy-PID control algorithm is simulated with software for the temperature control system of the blackbody radiation source in this paper. Compared with the conventional PID control algorithm, the Fuzzy-PID control has advantages of quicker response, smaller overshoot and more stable performance. It is of a certain reference value to improve the temperature control performances in the actual industrial production applications.

In this paper,a typical cylindrical hole with contoured craters is investigated in terms of the downstream flow field by numerical method at blowing ratios of 0.5,1 and *** flow field and the cooling effectiveness are analyzed using threedimensional Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations with the shear stress transport turbulence *** comparison to the cylindrical hole,the cratered hole shows a wider coolant coverage in lateral direction and a lower penetration into the mainstream flow due to the larger hole exit ***,the interaction between the coolant and the curved protrusion induces a new anti-kidney-shaped vortex pair,which can obviously improve the cooling coverage and thus the cooling *** areaaveraged cooling effectiveness for the cratered hole is always higher than that for the cylindrical hole at all three blowing ratios.

The coupling effects of low grade heat source on thermodynamic performances of both the basic and regenerative sub-critical Organic Rankine cycle(ORC) systems are investigated and *** inlet pressure and turbine inlet temperature are treated as independent *** system exergy efficiency is selected as the thermodynamic performance *** low grade heat source are waste hot water with temperature range of 373.15 K to 423.15 *** studies are carried out using eight common organic working fluids to recover heat energy,and relevant operating conditions are obtained *** results indicate that both hot fluid inlet temperature and the allowable minimum hot fluid outlet temperature influence the optimal working fluid,relevant turbine inlet condition and system exergy *** system exergy efficiency increases monotonously with increasing of hot fluid temperature for both ORC *** comparison to the basic cycle configuration,optimal system exergy efficiency for the regenerative system using the same working fluid is not changed if relevant turbine inlet vapor is saturated,but is significantly improved if relevant turbine inlet vapor is ***,the optimal working fluid is dependent on the heat source temperature and specific cycle configuration.

Surrogate assisted optimization has been widely applied in sheet metal forming design due to its efficiency. Therefore, to improve the efficiency of design and reduce the product development cycle, it is important for scholars and engineers to have some insight into the performance of each surrogate assisted optimization method and make them more flexible practically. For this purpose, the state-of-the-art surrogate assisted optimizations are investigated. Furthermore, in view of the bottleneck and development of the surrogate assisted optimization and sheet metal forming design, some important issues on the surrogate assisted optimization in support of the sheet metal forming design are analyzed and discussed, involving the description of the sheet metal forming design, off-line and online sampling strategies, space mapping algorithm, high dimensional problems, robust design, some challenges and potential feasible methods. Generally, this paper provides insightful observations into the performance and potential development of these methods in sheet metal forming design.

This paper presents the sliding mode control (SMC) of the Hes1-dimer biochemical reaction system, which regulates the concentration of reactants and products at a desired value. A sliding surface function and a controller with variable structure are proposed. By introducing some specified matrices, a linear matrix inequality (LMI) condition for the stability of the Hes1-dimer biochemical reaction system is derived, that is, the stability of the sliding mode dynamics is guaranteed. Moreover, a SMC law is designed, and forced the trajectories of the Hes1-dimer biochemical reaction system onto the designed sliding surface and remain slid thereon. The devised control strategy can ensure the rapid convergence of state response and the insensitivity to external disturbances. Finally, a simulation is given to demonstrate the validity of the proposed scheme.
