Fake Face Detection Based on Fusion of Spatial Texture and High-Frequency Noise

The rapid development of the Internet has led to the widespread dissemination of manipulated facial images, significantly impacting people's daily lives. With the continuous advancement of Deepfake technology, the generated counterfeit facial images have become increasingly challenging to distinguish. There is an urgent need for a more robust and convincing detection method. Current detection methods mainly operate in the spatial domain and transform the spatial domain into other domains for analysis. With the emergence of transformers, some researchers have also combined traditional convolutional networks with transformers for detection. This paper explores the artifacts left by Deepfakes in various domains and, based on this exploration, proposes a detection method that utilizes the steganalysis rich model to extract high-frequency noise to complement spatial features. We have designed two main modules to fully leverage the interaction between these two aspects based on traditional convolutional neural networks. The first is the multi-scale mixed feature attention module, which introduces artifacts from high-frequency noise into spatial textures, thereby enhancing the model's learning of spatial texture features. The second is the multi-scale channel attention module, which reduces the impact of background noise by weighting the features. Our proposed method was experimentally evaluated on mainstream datasets, and a significant amount of experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in detecting Deepfake forged faces, outperforming the majority of existing methods.

The power optimization of mixed polarity Reed–Muller(MPRM)logic circuits is a classic combinatorial optimization *** optimization approaches often suffer from slow convergence and a propensity to converge to local optima,limiting their effectiveness in achieving optimal power ***,we propose a novel multi-strategy fusion memetic algorithm(MFMA).MFMA integrates global exploration via the chimp optimization algorithm with local exploration using the coati optimization algorithm based on the optimal position learning and adaptive weight factor(COA-OLA),complemented by population management through truncation ***,leveraging MFMA,we propose a power optimization approach for MPRM logic circuits that searches for the best polarity configuration to minimize circuit *** results based on Microelectronics Center of North Carolina(MCNC)benchmark circuits demonstrate significant improvements over existing power optimization *** achieves a maximum power saving rate of 72.30%and an average optimization rate of 43.37%;it searches for solutions faster and with higher quality,validating its effectiveness and superiority in power optimization.

High mobility and non-independent and identically distributed (non-iid) data in the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) pose challenges for the convergence speed and accuracy of federated learning model training. Traditional federated learning approaches fail to account for the unique characteristics of local vehicle data, limiting the model performances. To address this, we propose a personalized hierarchical federated learning method tailored for heterogeneous IoV. Our approach customizes models for each vehicle, enhancing their performance on local data. We introduce a network-aware client selection method that dynamically chooses vehicle clients based on their spatiotemporal distribution and changing channel conditions. Additionally, our fine-grained personalized learning method leverages frequency domain analysis to extract and retain both fundamental and personalized knowledge from local model parameters. This allows us to build highly accurate personalized models suited to each vehicle's data characteristics. Experimental results show that our method improves model accuracy by up to 10.31% and reduces training time by up to 24.93% compared to the latest personalized federated learning algorithms. © 2025 IEEE.

Fracture is one of the most common and unexpected *** not treated in time,it may cause serious consequences such as joint stiffness,traumatic arthritis,and nerve *** computer vision technology to detect fractures can reduce the workload and misdiagnosis of fractures and also improve the fracture detection ***,there are still some problems in sternum fracture detection,such as the low detection rate of small and occult *** this work,the authors have constructed a dataset with 1227 labelled X-ray images for sternum fracture *** authors designed a fully automatic fracture detection model based on a deep convolution neural network(CNN).The authors used cascade R-CNN,attention mechanism,and atrous convolution to optimise the detection of small fractures in a large X-ray image with big local *** authors compared the detection results of YOLOv5 model,cascade R-CNN and other state-of-the-art *** authors found that the convolution neural network based on cascade and attention mechanism models has a better detection effect and arrives at an mAP of 0.71,which is much better than using the YOLOv5 model(mAP=0.44)and cascade R-CNN(mAP=0.55).

Policy Network-Based Dual-Agent Deep Reinforcement Learning for Multi-Resource Task Offloading in Multi-Access Edge Cloud Networks

The Multi-access Edge Cloud(MEC) networks extend cloud computing services and capabilities to the edge of the networks. By bringing computation and storage capabilities closer to end-users and connected devices, MEC networks can support a wide range of applications. MEC networks can also leverage various types of resources, including computation resources, network resources, radio resources,and location-based resources, to provide multidimensional resources for intelligent applications in 5/***, tasks generated by users often consist of multiple subtasks that require different types of resources. It is a challenging problem to offload multiresource task requests to the edge cloud aiming at maximizing benefits due to the heterogeneity of resources provided by devices. To address this issue,we mathematically model the task requests with multiple subtasks. Then, the problem of task offloading of multi-resource task requests is proved to be NP-hard. Furthermore, we propose a novel Dual-Agent Deep Reinforcement Learning algorithm with Node First and Link features(NF_L_DA_DRL) based on the policy network, to optimize the benefits generated by offloading multi-resource task requests in MEC networks. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the benefit of task offloading with higher resource utilization compared with baseline algorithms.

Knee Osteoarthritis (KOA) is a common joint disease that severely affects the normal lives of patients. In clinical practice, the severity of KOA is commonly evaluated by observing radiographs of the knee joint However, this approach heavily relies on a doctor's clinical experience and exhibits a certain degree of subjectivity. In previous studies, various advanced deep convolutional neural network (CNN) models have been used to diagnose KOA. As known, CNN models often focus on learning the local detailed features for decision-making and lack attention to global structural information. In this study, we propose a dual network called GraphConvNet that integrates a visual graph neural network with a deep CNN to enhance representation learning by leveraging both local detailed features and global structural information. Our proposed method was evaluated using an Osteoarthritis Initiative (OAI) dataset and achieved an overall accuracy, recall, precision, and mean absolute error (MAE) of 75.24%, 77.75%, 74.33% and 0.283, respectively. Experiments demonstrate that our proposed method significantly improves the performance and achieves state-of-the-art performance. Video archives play a crucial role in various industries, from media and entertainment to security and surveillance. Managing these archives efficiently and securely is a growing challenge due to the increasing volume of video data being generated. In this paper, a video archive management method is presented to solve security and sensibility of the video files on blockchain. By encrypting video files and generating cryptographic hashes, the presented method can protect the integrity of the data and prevent unauthorized modifications. The method based on blockchain technology offers a compelling solution to the challenges faced in managing video archives. By combining the inherent security and transparency of blockchain with innovative data management algorithms, organizations can ensure the integrity, security, and accessibility of their video archives. © 2024 SPIE.

Recent endeavors towards directly using large language models (LLMs) as agent models to execute interactive planning tasks have shown commendable results. Despite their achievements, however, they still struggle with brainless trial-and-error in global planning and generating hallucinatory actions in local planning due to their poor understanding of the "real" physical world. Imitating humans' mental world knowledge model which provides global prior knowledge before the task and maintains local dynamic knowledge during the task, in this paper, we introduce parametric World Knowledge Model (WKM) to facilitate agent planning. Concretely, we steer the agent model to self-synthesize knowledge from both expert and sampled trajectories. Then we develop WKM, providing prior task knowledge to guide the global planning and dynamic state knowledge to assist the local planning. Experimental results on three complex real-world simulated datasets with three state-of-the-art open-source LLMs, Mistral-7B, Gemma-7B, and Llama-3-8B, demonstrate that our method can achieve superior performance compared to various strong baselines. Other interesting findings include: 1) our instance-level task knowledge can generalize better to unseen tasks, 2) weak WKM can guide strong agent model planning, and 3) unified WKM training has promising potential for further development. © 2024 Neural information processing systems foundation. In accelerated MRI reconstruction problem, directly recovering all the missing k-space data from undersampled measurements is highly ill-posed and often leads to suboptimal performance. To address the problem, we propose a novel deep unfolding network (DUN) with subsampling decomposition (SD) based k-space refinement to mitigate the ill-posedness. Our method employs a parallel network architecture with a primary branch unfolded by gradient descent-inspired optimization process (GD-PB) for reconstruction. Additionally, we introduce an SD-based auxiliary branch (SD-AB) that decompose the inverse problem into moderately corrupted subproblems. We design a novel subsampling mask predictor that captures both global and local spatial correlations in k-space, ensuring the SD-AB effectively preserves the most well-reconstructed subsets as reliable region (RR). The RR in SD-AB is used to periodically refine the intermediate outputs of the GD-PB, achieving improved accuracy. Experimental results reveal that our method significantly outperforms conventional and SD-based DUN techniques, achieving superior PSNR and SSIM results compared with cutting-edge methods. © 2025 IEEE.

Model-based networks have shown convincing performance in MRI reconstruction. However, the unrolled cascades within the networks are constrained to solely obtain information from the preceding counterpart, resulting in potential error accumulation. Moreover, the linear structure fails to address the challenge of recovering fine-grained details. To tackle these problems, we propose to redesign the information flow in model-based networks. Our method features a large U-shaped network, where the nodes are built with unrolled cascades and U-Net-based regularizers. We design an input-level integration module to help the cascades acquire information from adjacent and skip-connected counterparts, building robust mappings to the target. We further design a coarse-to-fine feature-level integration module, aiming at guiding the network to progressively recover fine details. Intermediate reconstructions produced by subnetworks of different scales are integrated, enabling the extraction of complementary information to enhance the final performance. Compared with cutting-edge methods on different datasets, our method exhibits superior performances. © 2025 IEEE.
