In recent years, the development and deployment of the U.S. weapon equipment systems-of-systems (SoS) have yielded rich research results. However, there are still large gaps in the SoS development, joint testing, and design and acquisition of our own equipment SoS. The barriers of these steps have not yet been opened up. This article mainly analyzes the solutions of the U.S. weapon equipment SoS from three aspects, such as capability-based requirement generation and architecture design technology, interconnected-oriented integration test technology, and weapon equipment design and acquisition technology based on complex adaptive systems. We explore key technologies involved in order to form an overall understanding and explore related research approaches. © 2020 IEEE.

Food systems are deeply affected by climate change and air pollution, while being key contributors to these environmental challenges. Understanding the complex interactions among food systems, climate change, and air pollution is crucial for mitigating climate change, improving air quality, and promoting the sustainable development of food systems. However, the literature lacks a comprehensive review of these interactions, particularly in the current phase of rapid development in the field. To address this gap, this study systematically reviews recent research on the impacts of climate change and air pollution on food systems, as well as the greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions from agri-food systems and their contribution to global climate change and air pollution. In addition, this study summarizes various strategies for mitigation and adaptation, including adjustments in agricultural practices and food supply chains. Profound changes in food systems are urgently needed to enhance adaptability and reduce emissions. This review offers a critical overview of current research on the interactions among food systems, climate change, and air pollution and highlights future research directions to support the transition to sustainable food systems.

Effect of temporal disorder on wave packet dynamics in one-dimensional kicked lattices

Inspired by the recent experimental progress in noisy kicked rotor systems,we investigate the effect of temporal disorder or quasi-periodicity in one-dimensional kicked lattices with pulsed on-site *** found that,unlike the spatial disorder or quasi-periodicity which usually leads to localization,the effect of the temporal one is more complex and depends on the spatial *** the kicked on-site potential is periodic in real space,then the wave packet will stay diffusive in the presence of temporal disorder or *** the other hand,if the kicked on-site potential is spatially quasi-periodic,then the temporal disorder or quasi-periodicity may lead to a shift of the transition point of the dynamical localization and destroy the dynamical localization in a certain parameter *** results we obtained can be readily tested by experiments and may help us better understand the dynamical localization.

Detection of Picric Acid by Terpy-Based Metallo- Supramolecular Fluorescent Coordination Polymers in Aqueous Media

The synthesis of two linear terpy-based metallo-supramolecular fluorescent coordination polymers through 1 ： 1 complexation of Zn^2＋ and Cd^2＋ ions with ditopic terpyridine ligand was reported. The dispersibility of P1 and P2 was significantly improved in organic solvent and water through the introduction of hydrophilic oligo-ethyoxy side chain. Two polymers displayed yellow light emission both in solution and the solid state due to the intra-ligand charge transfer （ILCT） between the d^10 metal ions and the conjugated spacer unit. These coordination polymers were explored as fluorescent chemosensors for detecting picric acid in aqueous media, displaying high sensitivity and good selectivity. In addition, test strips were prepared from these polymers and exhibited the practical potential of detecting the NACs pollutants in the outdoor water for public safety and security.

In Mobile Opportunistic Networks, there are special cases of multicast in which destinations (except the total number) are not predetermined. E.g., a person tries to find another three players to play poker without knowing them. Achieving efficient data routing in this scenario (target any k destinations among m of them) can be very challenge due to (1) no predetermined destinations, (2) extra delay cost by the destinations collision, and (3) difficulty of the receiver quantity control. We define this as a K-Anycast problem, the goal is to route copies of the message to any k destinations with the shortest average delay. In this paper, we first propose a matching method to solve the problem in a centralized way. We then bring forward a layered hierarchical structure where nodes are organized according to their degree of activities. Based on the structure, two routing algorithms are proposed where K-Cast initializes exactly k copies of the message without replication in the middle, K-Epidemic performs epidemic routing only in a controlled range. Both algorithms will first forward copies upwards along the structure and then downwards to the destinations. Experiments on real data trace show that the proposed algorithms achieve much better delay, delivery ratio and lower forwarding numbers.

In modern multi-core system, memory is shared among more and more concurrently running threads. Therefore, memory contention and interference is more and more seriously which induces performance degradation unevenly, unfairness resource sharing and priority inversion even starvation. In this paper, we first analyze the problems induced by contention and interference in detail, and then, propose pseudo share framework which brings shared memory to exclusive in multi-core system. The pseudo share framework contains three steps: 1) Partition threads and memory into thread and memory groups respectively, each thread group runs on one core occupying one memory group, 2) Analyze the performance influence after memory shared for each thread, 3) According to performance influence of parallel running threads, allocate memory bandwidth for each thread. We implement pseudo share in 4-core and 8-core platforms. Experimental results show pseudo share optimizes both problems of performance degradation differently and unfairness resource sharing in both 4-core and 8-core. Moreover, pseudo share solves starvation and reduces 5.3% power on average.

A rapid reentry trajectory planning method for a common aero vehicle (CAV) subject to all path constraints is developed. The reentry trajectory is divided into initial descent phase and quasi-equilibrium glide phase which possesses a majority of the reentry period. An improved quasi-equilibrium glide condition is utilized to convert reentry corridor constraints to the control variable constraints and get a simple relation between the range-to-go and velocity. Accordingly the longitudinal reference trajectory is computed through the one-parameter search of bank angle model and the corresponding tracking law is designed using linear quadratic regulator theory. To enhance the maneuvering capability, a geometrical control approach considering no-fly zone constraints is applied to the lateral guidance. Finally, the performance of this method is verified by computer simulation. ©2010 IEEE.

Dam construction results in variations of hydrology, river morphology and habitat and the biota associated with the reservoir change significantly compared to the assemblage before dam construction in order to match these changed environmental conditions. Some attempts so far have been made to ascertain the changed properties of aquatilia due to dam construction. Most of them, however, were focused on perturbances to single factors, such as rearing habitats, reproduction and migration routes, etc. Few have been done on the performance of aquatilia from the whole-ecosystem perspective. Herein, we evaluate the structural properties of aquatic animals and their complex ecological relationships within the ecosystem before and after dam construction based on ecological network analysis. In light of the results, we provide useful suggestions for the conservation of the aquatic animals and their habitats, and propose feasible methods for the application of ecological network analysis to river ecosystem subjected to human disturbance.
