With the deepening of the digital transformation, enterprises have accumulated plenty of electronic files. For users, how to quickly find their desired files from the massive resources is a big challenge, which is also a critical concern for enterprises. Although a series of enterprise search engines have emerged in the market, there is a lack of search systems for enterprise files. In this paper, we design a novel enterprise file search framework, named QianXun, which supports searching in both Chinese and English. By introducing technologies such as automatic text summarization, online file previewing, and Knowledge Graph-enhanced search, our proposed framework improves the efficiency of file search as well as the user experience, which is of great significance to enterprises. © 2022 IEEE.

With the increasing growth of electronic medical data, the difficulties of data sharing among medical institutions and the leakage of data privacy have become the focus of the public and medical workers. The blockchain has the characteristics of decentralization, traceability, and immutability, which can provide new ideas for fine-grained secure access to medical research. This article first introduces blockchain and blockchain-based privacy protection technology;then analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of electronic medical records, and introduces the current development status of electronic medical records based on blockchain technology;then from data encryption, access the three aspects of control and transaction anonymity introduce the medical data privacy protection method based on blockchain technology;finally, the full text is summarized and prospected. © 2022 IEEE.

Recently, contrastive learning has been widely used in the field of sequential recommendation to solve the data sparsity problem. CL4Rec augments data through simple random crop, mask, and reorder, while DuoRec proposes a model-level data augmentation method. However, these methods do not take into account the issue of noisy data in sequential recommendation, such as false clicks during browsing. The noise may lead to poor representations of learned sequences and negatively affect the augmented data. Current sequential recommendation methods tend to learn the user’s intention from their original sequences, but these methods have certain limitations as the user’s intention for the next interaction may change. Based on the above observations, we propose Noise-augmented Contrastive Learning for Sequential Recommendation (NCL4Rec). Our NCL4Rec proposes sequential noise probability-guided data augmentation. We introduce supervised noise recognition during training instead of obtaining it from original sequences. Moreover, we design positive and negative augmentations of the sequence and design unique noise loss function to train them. Through experiments, it is verified that our NCL4Rec consistently outperforms the current state-of-the-art models. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Modeling and Path Generation Approaches for Crowd Simulation Based on Computational Intelligence

Modeling and simulating group behaviours have been an active research topic in the field of computer animation and game. This paper presents some novel approaches for supporting entity modeling and path generation in crowd simulation. It analyses related work about crowd simulation first. Then, an entity modeling approach based on CGA (Cellular genetic algorithm) and NURBS (Non uniform relational B splines) technologies is presented. Next, following the analysis to PSO (Particle swarm optimization) and ABC (Artificial bee colony) algorithms, a crowd path generative approach based on ABC- PSO is put forward. After that, a simulating example of crowd cohesion and performance comparison are exhibited for showing the efficiency of the algorithms. Finally, the current work is summarized and an outlook for the future work is given.

When Neural Code Completion Models Size up the Situation: Attaining Cheaper and Faster Completion through Dynamic Model Inference

Leveraging recent advancements in large language models, modern neural code completion models have demonstrated the capability to generate highly accurate code suggestions. However, their massive size poses challenges in terms of computational costs and environmental impact, hindering their widespread adoption in practical scenarios. Dynamic inference emerges as a promising solution, as it allocates minimal computation during inference while maintaining the model’s performance. In this research, we explore dynamic inference within the context of code completion. Initially, we conducted an empirical investigation on GPT-2, focusing on the inference capabilities of intermediate layers for code completion. We found that 54.4% of tokens can be accurately generated using just the first layer, signifying significant computational savings potential. Moreover, despite using all layers, the model still fails to predict 14.5% of tokens correctly, and the subsequent completions continued from them are rarely considered helpful, with only a 4.2% Acceptance Rate. These findings motivate our exploration of dynamic inference in code completion and inspire us to enhance it with a decision-making mechanism that stops the generation of incorrect code. We thus propose a novel dynamic inference method specifically tailored for code completion models. This method aims not only to produce correct predictions with largely reduced computation but also to prevent incorrect predictions proactively. Our extensive evaluation shows that it can averagely skip 1.7 layers out of 16 layers in the models, leading to an 11.2% speedup with only a marginal 1.1% reduction in ROUGE-L. As an effective and emerging component of intelligent education, Knowledge Tracing(KT) achieves the combination of artificial intelligence and individualized learning, whose aim is to assess students' mastery of knowledge concepts and assist in developing learning plans. Several existing KT models either use concepts sequence as input and evaluate students' knowledge state or treat exercise as input to predict students' future performance. In this paper, we introduce a constraint factor to extract concepts' and exercises' relation matrix, design three methods in representation learning, and propose a Multichannel Attention Networks based KT model(MAKT). Specifically, we restrict the co-occurrence relationship within a time window to extract the relation matrix and then train their representations via graph generative learning, graph contrastive learning, and matrix decomposition, respectively. In MAKT, a sliding window is implemented by multichannel where input sequence is sequentially lagged in turn by one position and attention mechanism is applied. We conduct experiments on several benchmark datasets and demonstrate that MAKT with concepts' and exercises' representation trained by matrix decomposition outperforms state-of-the-art models. © 2022 IEEE.

Bug fixing holds significant importance in software development and maintenance. Recent research has made substantial strides in exploring the potential of large language models (LLMs) for automatically resolving software bugs. However, a noticeable gap in existing approaches lies in the oversight of collaborative facets intrinsic to bug resolution, treating the process as a single-stage endeavor. Moreover, most approaches solely take the buggy code snippet as input for LLMs during the patch generation stage. To mitigate the aforementioned limitations, we introduce a novel stage-wise framework named PATCH. Specifically, we first augment the buggy code snippet with corresponding dependence context and intent information to better guide LLMs in generating the correct candidate patches. Additionally, by taking inspiration from bug management practices, we decompose the bug-fixing task into four distinct stages: bug reporting, bug diagnosis, patch generation, and patch verification. These stages are performed interactively by LLMs, aiming to simulate the collaborative behavior of programmers during the resolution of software bugs. By harnessing these collective contributions, PATCH effectively enhances the bug-fixing capability of LLMs. We implement PATCH by employing the powerful dialogue-based LLM ChatGPT. Our evaluation on the widely used bug-fixing benchmark BFP demonstrates that PATCH has achieved better performance than state-of-the-art LLMs. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Learning with Open-world Noisy Data via Class-independent Margin in Dual Representation Space

Learning with Noisy Labels (LNL) aims to improve the model generalization when facing data with noisy labels, and existing methods generally assume that noisy labels come from known classes, called closed-set noise. However, in real-world scenarios, noisy labels from similar unknown classes, i.e., open-set noise, may occur during the training and inference stage. Such open-world noisy labels may significantly impact the performance of LNL methods. In this study, we propose a novel dual-space joint learning method to robustly handle the open-world noise. To mitigate model overfitting on closed-set and open-set noises, a dual representation space is constructed by two networks. One is a projection network that learns shared representations in the prototype space, while the other is a One-Vs-All (OVA) network that makes predictions using unique semantic representations in the class-independent space. Then, bi-level contrastive learning and consistency regularization are introduced in two spaces to enhance the detection capability for data with unknown classes. To benefit from the memorization effects across different types of samples, class-independent margin criteria are designed for sample identification, which selects clean samples, weights closed-set noise, and filters open-set noise effectively. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method outperforms the state-of-the-art methods and achieves an average accuracy improvement of 4.55% and an AUROC improvement of 6.17% on CIFAR80N. In the domain of facial recognition security, multimodal Face Anti-Spoofing (FAS) is essential for countering presentation attacks. However, existing technologies encounter challenges due to modality biases and imbalances, as well as domain shifts. Our research introduces a Mixture of Experts (MoE) model to address these issues effectively. We identified three limitations in traditional MoE approaches to multimodal FAS: (1) Coarse-grained experts’ inability to capture nuanced spoofing indicators; (2) Gated networks’ susceptibility to input noise affecting decision-making; (3) MoE’s sensitivity to prompt tokens leading to overfitting with conventional learning methods. To mitigate these, we propose the Bypass Isolated Gating MoE (BIG-MoE) framework, featuring: (1) Fine-grained experts for enhanced detection of subtle spoofing cues; (2) An isolation gating mechanism to counteract input noise; (3) A novel differential convolutional prompt bypass enriching the gating network with critical local features, thereby improving perceptual capabilities. Extensive experiments on four benchmark datasets demonstrate significant generalization performance improvement in multimodal FAS task. The code is released at https://***/murInJ/BIG-MoE.
