β-Bi2O3 decorated Graphene Nanosheets(GN/β-Bi2O3) were prepared by a facile solution-mixing method,furthermore the influence of graphene content on photocatalytic activity was systematically investigated. The results indicated that these composites have high degradation rate of RhB(about 3 times higher than that of bare β-Bi2O3) at graphene content 1%*** the content increased to 5%wt, the degradation rate decrease to only 1.1 times. This high photocatalytic activity is attributed predominantly to the presence of graphene, which serves as an electron collector and transporter to efficiently lengthen the lifetime of the photogenerated charge carriers from β-Bi2O3. Moreover,the crystal structure, surface morphology and optical properties of resulted materials were characterized by XRD, SEM and UV-vis diffuse reflection, respectively.

In this work, methane hydrate formation was compared between a stirred reactor and a fixed bed of porous media (silica sand) in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). The experiments were carried out in batch operation and at 7.0 MPa and 274.15 K. The aqueous concentration of SDS used was in the range of (300-1500 ppm). The results indicated that the SDS concentration of 500 ppm was found to be an optimum concentration for methane hydrate formation, and methane hydrate formation was significantly promoted in the fixed bed of silica sand with 500 ppm SDS as compared to those using SDS solutions in the stirred reactor. The water conversion to hydrate and the gas storage capacity achieved 78.1% and 139.8 V/V, respectively.

To evaluate the strength attenuation law of soft rock in the western mining area of China, we established an evolution model for the strength parameters of soft mudstone at the post-peak stage by employing a tri-linear strain softening model. In the model, a stiffness degradation coefficient co and a softening modulus coefficient a were introduced to take into account the stiff- ness degradation, and the subsequent yield surfaces at post-peak stage were all assumed to meet the Molar-Coulomb yield criterion. Furthermore, attenuation laws of stiffness and strength parameters of soft mudstone were analyzed according to an engineering case. Finally, the model's accuracy was verified by comparison of results from numerical calculation and tri-axial compression tests. Results showed that the attenuation of the friction angle was dominated mainly by the instantaneous stress states and damage features, while the attenuation law of cohesion was also related to the plastic behavior. The degradation rates of strength param- eters decreased with increasing confining pressure and the friction angle tended towards its initial value. Residual strengths were also enhanced with increasing confming pressure. The results indicate that the evolution model can accurately describe the strain softening behavior of soft rock.

The combined self-consistent and Mori-Tanaka approach proposed for the evaluation of the effective elastic property of particulate composites is extended to evMuate the effective elastoplastic property of particulate composites. Suppose there are sufficient identical particle inclusions with total volume fraction c in a representative volume element (RVE) of a particulate composite, these inclusions are separated into two groups, with volume fractions (1 -A-1)c and c/A over the RVE, respectively. We assume that the first group of inclusions has already been embedded in the original matrix to form a fictitious matrix, and the RVE of the composite consists of the fictitious matrix and the second group of particle inclusions. The property of the fictitious matrix is determined by the conventional self-consistent scheme, while the effective elastoplastic property of the composite is determined by the conventional Mori-Tanaka scheme. Analysis shows that, the conventional Mori-Tanaka scheme and self-consistent scheme can be obtained as the two limit cases of the extended approach as A = 1 and A = c~, respectively. The constitutive behavior of the inclusions in either Group I or Group II is identical, indicating the consistency in the description of the constitutive behavior in the two steps. ~klrthermore, the effective elastoplastic behavior of some typical particulate composites is analyzed, and the satisfactory agreement between the computational and experimental results demonstrates the validity of the extended approach. The introduced A can serve reasonably as a parameter, which is related to the actual property of composites and can be identified by experiments, for a more accurate evaluation of the effective elastoplastic property of particulate composites.

This paper introduces an improved fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model specially designed for the safety culture assessment of petroleum enterprises. The model is established based on the authors' years of experience in this field. The index system of the safety assessment mentioned herein is based on SMART safety culture principles, covering safety material, safety behavior, safety system, safety belief, persistence of safety, and openness of safety. The proposed system also includes the safety material culture, in which on-the-spot analysis of the key factors of safety culture is conducted together with duty consultants. All the fuzzy membership indexes and their degrees were weighed and calculated with the final evaluation results, presented in accordance with the analytic hierarchy process. All the safety culture statuses of petroleum enterprises Z, S, and C were then incorporated into detailed analysis. The results of the application confirm that the levels of safety culture follow the order of Z petroleum enterprise key factors in safety culture construction for petroleum enterprises. Thus, the proposed model heightens production levels, and plays an important role in the construction of business safety culture.

The effects of several parameters on the simultaneous saccharification and fermentation of straw stalk for ethanol fuel production were investigated on the basis of orthogonal experiments. The parameters include temperature and time of fermentation, quantity and proportion of yeast inoculation, as well as cellulase dosage. An ethanol yield of 0.183 g/g was obtained from the straw stalk pretreated with diluted acid under determined optimum conditions. These conditions were: fermentation temperature: 38℃; fermentation time: 72 h; yeast inoculation quantity: 15%; yeast inoculation proportion: 2:1; and cellulose enzyme dosage: 20 U/g. The relationship between ethanol concentration c and fermentation time t is presented as follows, c=abt/(1+bt). The rate constant k of straw stalk hydrolysis by the cellulose enzyme depends on hydrolysis time, as described by k=k1t-h. Therefore, straw stalk hydrolysis reaction by the cellulose enzyme is fractal-like.

Strontium in celestine was activated in Twain-40 with the wetting and emulsifying methods. And strontium extract ratio increased providing that the negative effects of oxygen containing functional groups were eliminated on celestine surface. In the paper, the factors affecting the extraction of strontium in celestine were investigated with orthogonal experiments. The optimal conditions were described as follows: mass ratio of celestine to extracting aid=2.6:1, the solid-liquid ratio of extracting aid solvent composed was m(SDS): m(Twain 40): m(HCl)=6:1:2, when celestine was ground as small as less than 0.075mm in size, and extracted for 6 hours at 333K. The strontium extract ratio increased by 61.33% and reached 97.21%, while the ratio from the comparative experiment (without extracting aid agent) was only 35.88%. Extraction kinetics of strontium in celestine showed that the diffusion process was a controlling step, and the apparent active energy was about 14.1 kJ/mol. The research results were helpful to fully utilize strontium of celestine.
