This paper presents a novel real-time signal processing system using for target tracking, it uses both ADSP21060 and FPGA to attain high performance and high-speed imageprocessing. It analyses the flexible hardware architecture based on the idea of reconfigurability and modularization, and discusses three main modules and extensibility of the hardware system. Then the implementation of the image pre-processing and target intelligent tracking algorithm is discussed in detail. The experimental result shows that the system processing rate reaches 30 frames per second. The system can automatically detect targets and output the tracking information in real-time.

Many vision-related processing tasks, including edge detection and image segmentation, can be performed more easily when all objects in the scene are in good focus. However, in practice, this may not be always feasible as optical lenses, especially those with long focal lengths, only have a limited depth of field. One classical approach to recover an everywhere-in-focus image is to use Laplacian pyramid image fusion. First, several source images with different focuses of the same scene are taken and decomposed into the low/high-frequency components image sequences. Within these decompositions, the high-frequency components image sequences with the largest magnitude are selected at each pixel location. Finally, the fused image can be recovered from the decomposed components image sequences. In the support vector machine (SVM), the pixels with larger support values have a physical meaning in the sense that they reveal relative more importance of the data points for contributing to the SVM model. In this paper, we use Laplacian pyramid for the multi resolution decomposition, and then replace the traditional salient features by support values of the mapped least squares (LS)-SVM for fusing image. Experimental results illustrate that the proposed method outperforms the traditional approach.

In clinical practice, digital subtraction angiography (DSA) is a powerful technique for the visualization of blood vessels in X-ray image sequences. Different with traditional DSA image registration processes, in our proposed image registration method, the control points are selected from the vessel centerlines using multiscale Gabor filters, and mutual information (MI) is then taken as the similarity criterion to find the correspondences. Experimental results demonstrate our algorithm efficiently yields satisfying registration result for DSA images.

A network-based Virtual Private Network (VPN) architecture by using fundamental routing mechanism is proposed. This network is a virtual overlay network based on the relay of IP-in-IP tunneling of virtual routing modules. The packet format employs the encapsulation of IPSec ESP(Encapsulating Security Payload), an impact path code and an extended DS(Differentiated Services) code to support multi-path routing and QoS. Comparing with other models of VPN, this network system can be deployed in the current network with little investment, and it is easy to implement. The simulation result shows its performance is better than the traditional VPN system of black box mode.

It is necessary to study the radiation characteristic of metal solid objects for millimeter wave passive guidance. On the basis of discussing the grounded theory, the antenna temperature contrast formula of metal solid objects is presented. Furthermore equivalent radiometric section coefficient based on scale-shrinking measuring theory is proposed in favor of engineering applications. The 8 mm theoretical calculation and actual measurement are mostly below 1K. So, equivalent radiometric section coefficient gives a virtual way for engineering measurement of metal solid objects.

This paper proposes a new post-processing algorithm with edge preserving. To control the granular and edge preserving in the process of post-processing, we introduce a new potential function. To avoid the non-linear obstacle, the object energy is converted with half-quadratic regularization. At last, the implementation of the algorithm is improved to speed up the computation. Experiments show our method can achieve the design object that effectively remove artifacts at the same time maintain the edges.
