To enhance the tracking control performance of the speed and tension system of the reversible cold strip rolling mill and reduce the impact of uncertainties,a fractional-order sliding mode finite time control strategy is proposed based on adaptive sliding mode disturbance ***,novel fractional-order adaptive sliding mode disturbance observers(NFOASMDOs)are employed to dynamically observe the unmatched uncertainties in the system,thereby effectively enhancing the tracking control ***,the dynamic surface backstepping control is combined with the fractional-order sliding mode control to complete the designs of the finite time fractional-order sliding mode controllers(FTFOSMCs),which suppress the system's chattering phenomenon effectively,and avoid the "differential explosion" ***,the feasibility of the presented control method is illustrated by the simulation comparison study.

In order to solve the challenge of multi-objective team personalized tourism route design, in view of the shortcomings of the existing divide and conquer algorithms, this study proposes an innovative personalized tourism route design method based on fuzzy APACA. This new scheme uses the principles of gradient descent theory to accurately identify and locate key influencing factors, and accordingly carries out a sensible classification of indicators to reduce possible interference. At the same time, by using the unique mechanism of fuzzy APACA, this scheme cleverly constructs the design strategy of tourism routes. The empirical results show that this scheme shows a significant improvement compared with the traditional divide and conquer algorithm in terms of key performance indicators such as the accuracy of personalized tourism route design and the processing efficiency of key factors, showing its obvious strong advantages. In the multi-objective team, the personalized tourism route design plays a crucial role, which can accurately predict and optimize the growth trend and output results of the multi-objective team's personalized tourism route design. However, in the face of complex simulation tasks, traditional divide-and-conquer algorithms show some inherent shortcomings, especially when dealing with multi-level challenges, their performance is often unsatisfactory. To overcome this, this study introduces a new idea of fuzzy APACA optimization for the design of personalized tourism routes, and accurately controls the influencing parameters through gradient descent theory, which is used as the road map for index allocation, and then uses fuzzy APACA to innovate and construct a system scheme. The test results clearly point out that in the context of the evaluation criteria, the new scheme has been significantly optimized in terms of accuracy and processing speed for a variety of challenges, showing stronger performance superiority. Grid-following inverters remain the primary interface for modern renewable energy systems due to their strong power output performance. As the global demand for clean and efficient energy conversion increases, optimizing the stability of inverter systems is crucial for integrating renewable sources into the power grid. In certain energy conversion scenarios, current sensors are placed on the inverter side due to equipment constraints and space limitations, which can impact the stability of the inverter. Although the stability of inverter-side current feedback (ICF) configurations has been studied, methods to further enhance their stability remain underexplored. In this paper, the stability of ICF grid-following inverters is analyzed using a passivity-based design approach, focusing on a point of common coupling voltage controller. The proposed controller is thoroughly analyzed, and a detailed design strategy is presented to ensure stability under varying grid impedance conditions. Experimental results validate the theoretical analysis, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed design in enhancing the stability of ICF grid-following inverters. These advancements contribute to improving energy conversion efficiency and reliability. © 2025 IEEE.

Multiple types of sensors are utilized for remote monitoring of single industrial process to compensate for the limited accuracy of a single type of sensor. Network slicing technology is considered promising for collecting data from heterogeneous sensors and meeting diverse Quality of Service (QoS) requirements. However, existing research on network slicing optimization mainly focuses on inter-slice resource constraints based on slice heterogeneity, neglecting slice coupling feature. In this regard, this paper proposes a novel network slicing framework for edge-assisted industrial IoT systems. The framework includes a slice coupling model and network resource allocation (transmission and computing) to address the problem of improving estimation performance while ensuring system convergence. The slice coupling model is primarily composed of the estimation error covariance of two slices, calculated using the Age of Task (AoT) as a bridge, which reflects the accuracy and freshness of the estimation. To reduce the complexity of the direct solution, the optimization problem is scaled down and decoupled. The iterative Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is proposed to determine the allocation rates of inter-slice transmission and computing resources. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves a flexible balance under heterogeneous estimation weights and exhibits near-optimal performance. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system as the contributor of building climate management is studied on multi-zone climate dynamics modelling and control for occupancy comfort. The first-principles model together with data-driven model as the hybrid model is proposed for comprehensive multi-zone hygro-thermal dynamics. The unmodeled climate dynamics such as unknown nonlinearity and uncertainty is modeled in a linear form based on the compact form dynamic linearization (CFDL) method. Then model free adaptive control (MFAC) scheme including controller design and parameter estimation is proposed to realize multi-zone climate control and occupancy comfort. The dynamic response performance of the hybrid model-based adaptive control and the first-principles model-based adaptive control has been tested in a multi-zone building with four different zones. The results show that the proposed hybrid model-based adaptive control scheme can achieve obvious performance improvement in minimizing steady-state error. © 2022 IEEE.

The coarse pointing assembly (CPA), as the outer loop of the laser terminal, its tracking stability is the basis for ensuring laser communication. This paper presents the model of the CPA. Aiming at the disturbance factors in the low-speed operation process of the CPA, an active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) method for the position loop of the CPA is designed based on the generalized proportional integral observer (GPIO) to achieve disturbance compensation control. Finally, simulations are carried out on the system model. The simulation results show that compared with the PID control strategy adopted, the proposed ADRC strategy based on GPIO of the CPA can effectively improve the tracking accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to improve the efficiency of indoor mobile robots in locating and segmenting environmental instances, an instance segmentation method based on RTMDet is proposed. Firstly, the more powerful ConvNeXt V2 is used as the backbone network of the model, which improves the performance of the existing RTMDet model. Subsequently, NAS-FPN is used as a converged network to detect the network at any given time. Finally, AdamW is used as the model optimiser, which effectively solves the problem of excessive memory occupation when updating parameters and improves the performance of the model. The proposed method obtains the highest evaluation index in all cases. After training and testing on the Cityscapes data set, the recognition accuracy reaches 65.0%. © 2024 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

Simulation of open quantum systems is undoubtedly critical to design of quantum devices and applications of quantum technologies since dynamics of open quantum systems cannot be solved analytically in general. However, the dimension of open quantum systems grows exponentially as the number of their subsystems increases or as involving complicated environments, which reduces the computational efficiency of the simulation. In this paper, we boost numerical simulation of master equations of open quantum systems from several aspects with which the total time and the occupied memory in the simulation are significantly reduced without losing precision. Our method can be applied to the simulation of non-Markovian quantum systems described by an augmented system model as well. We conduct numerical experiments on simulation of a non-Markovian spin chain. Compared with the algorithm in a well-known toolbox, QuTiP, our method can take 26.3% time and less memory under fair conditions. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

The utilization of impedance control is capable of achieving excellent force tracking performance. However, the balance between stability and flexibility is seldom considered in current methods. To address this issue, a novel adaptive variable impedance controller for contact force tracking is proposed in this study. Lyapunov theory is applied to develop an adaptive adjustment law of damping parameter in impedance control to enhance the robot's adaptability to uncertain environment and dynamic desired force. Additionally, a force compensator is designed based on direct adaptive control to expedite the response of force tracking. What sets this proposed method apart is that it does not require an accurate understanding of environmental parameters. Instead, it dynamically modifies the impedance parameters based on the force error to guarantee the stability and coordination of the system. Simulation results indicate that the proposed controller improves the flexibility and robustness of the force tracking capability of the robot system when compared to existing variable impedance control methods and effectively diminishes force overshoot. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, large-scale pretrained natural language processing models such as BERT, GPT3 have achieved good results in processing tasks. However, in daily applications, these large-scale language models usually exist large model size or long running time, and the model portability and application are not very convenient. To settle this problem, we come up with a lightweight summarization generation method based on knowledge distillation (LW-BERT-KD, abbreviated as LBK model) to prove that complex neural network knowledge (taking BERT model as an example) can be extracted to lightweight language processing models (taking BiLSTM model as an example), thus achieving the purpose of complex knowledge extraction and model compression. In this paper, the BERT model is regarded as the teacher model, and the BiLSTM is regarded as the student model. The knowledge distillation technology is the transfer of knowledge from teacher models to student models, so that the generated model is effective, lightweight, and easy to port. On the Chinese abstract generation dataset, the training effect of this model is significantly better than the basic Transformer baseline. The experimental results show that if the training parameters are increased by 100 times, the model achieves comparable results with complex preprocessing language models. © 2023 IEEE.
