A network-based Virtual Private Network (VPN) architecture by using fundamental routing mechanism is proposed. This network is a virtual overlay network based on the relay of IP-in-IP tunneling of virtual routing modules. The packet format employs the encapsulation of IPSec ESP(Encapsulating Security Payload), an impact path code and an extended DS(Differentiated Services) code to support multi-path routing and QoS. Comparing with other models of VPN, this network system can be deployed in the current network with little investment, and it is easy to implement. The simulation result shows its performance is better than the traditional VPN system of black box mode.

It is necessary to study the radiation characteristic of metal solid objects for millimeter wave passive guidance. On the basis of discussing the grounded theory, the antenna temperature contrast formula of metal solid objects is presented. Furthermore equivalent radiometric section coefficient based on scale-shrinking measuring theory is proposed in favor of engineering applications. The 8 mm theoretical calculation and actual measurement are mostly below 1K. So, equivalent radiometric section coefficient gives a virtual way for engineering measurement of metal solid objects.

This paper proposes a new post-processing algorithm with edge preserving. To control the granular and edge preserving in the process of post-processing, we introduce a new potential function. To avoid the non-linear obstacle, the object energy is converted with half-quadratic regularization. At last, the implementation of the algorithm is improved to speed up the computation. Experiments show our method can achieve the design object that effectively remove artifacts at the same time maintain the edges.

On basis of developing the synchronous detection Dicke radiometer, a 3mm radiometric imaging system that is controlled by PC and MCU is presented in this paper. Also, the master-slave hardware and software design of imaging system is proposed for the ground application. The beam width of 3mm radiometer is 0.5degree, which makes the imaging system possess higher spatial resolution. The experimental results show that the imaging system works stably and flexible but the radiometer need depressing the affection of system noise for further step.

On basis of studying the fusion algorithm of multiple sensors, a new approach is presented to fuse the millimeter wave radiometric image and the optical-based simulated image by wavelet transform. The 8mm simulation result shows that fusion image has more complementary information and possesses higher resolution than the measuring image. This paper presents a method for the detection of small objects from the infrared images. The detection is performed on the intensity surface well fitted by the cubic facet model. The small target energy distribution presents as a convex surface on the image intensity surface and the target center is the maximal extremum points of the convex surface. According to the extremum theory, the possible small target position is analytically determined by directly convolving the original image with the derivative operators deduced from the bivariate cubic function. With the available coarse target locations, the potential target is separated from the background by examining the intensity features of the target cluster. Experimental results on the sample infrared images demonstrate the proposed algorithm provides a robust and efficient performance.
