The recurrent neural network model based on attention mechanism has achieved good results in the text summarization generation task, but such models have problems such as insufficient parallelism and exposure bias. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposes a two-stage Chinese text summarization generation method based on Transformer and temporal convolutional network. The first stage uses a summary generation model that fuses Transformer and a temporal convolutional network, and generates multiple candidate summaries through beam search at the decoding end. In the second stage, contrastive learning is introduced, and the candidate summaries are sorted and scored using the Roberta model to select the final summary. Through experiments on the Chinese short text summarization dataset LCSTS, ROUGE was used as the evaluation method to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method on Chinese text summarization. © 2023 SPIE.

The cross-task gap presents a significant challenge for multimodal models because of the differences in input-output workflows. For instance, multimodal pre-trained transformers may encounter uni-modal data during testing. To mitigate the gap, this paper introduces a Transformer in Multimodal Sentiment Analysis under Missing Modalities (TMMM) aims to perform well using missing-modal data during testing. TMMM uses a missing multimodal training approach to prevent accuracy degradation in testing. At the same time, a new network architecture allows the model to reconstruct missing modalities during testing. Classification token fusion and Mixture-of-Experts structures further enhance the model’s performance. A pre-training method utilizing contrastive learning, which can construct negative samples with positive samples, is proposed to overcome insufficient labeled data. Our experiments demonstrated the effectiveness of TMMM on two datasets with no modalities missing, i.e., it consistently achieved the highest classification accuracy and Macro-F1, which outperformed the best state-of-the-art baseline on each dataset by about 2% and 2.5%. Additionally, TMMM usually performs better than other baselines on datasets with missing modalities during testing.

Quantum trajectory can be viewed as a numerical simulation method for wavefunctions which consume smaller memories compared to density matrices in master equations. In this paper, we adopt quantum trajectory to simulate the evolution of a non-Markovian quantum system modeled by an augmented system and further use parallel computing to improve efficiency. Compared to the Lindblad master equation solver in QuTiP, it can run more efficiently using less memory. In the example of a 8-spin-chain non-Markovian system, it only takes about 0.57% of the memory footprint and 4.12% of the runtime of the solver for the Lindblad master equation. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

In DC microgrids, current sharing and voltage regulation are two main objectives for real-time control, while the operation loss reduction is typically achieved by steady-state optimization. However, the ratio of current sharing is generally determined by the result of the centralized optimization in the classical hierarchical control framework of DC microgrids. Such an issue brings insufficient capability in respond to the changes of photovoltaic power and stored energy in the solar-powered energy systems. To handle this, this work proposes a distributed control scheme for single-bus DC microgrids. Under the proposed controller, the objectives of current sharing, bus voltage regulation and the total operation loss(converter loss and line loss) reduction can be guaranteed simultaneously. Moreover, the constraints on line currents and bus voltage are tackled as ***, simulations verify the performance of the proposed control scheme.

Electroencephalogram (EEG)-based seizure sub-type classification enhances clinical diagnosis efficiency. Source-free semi-supervised domain adaptation (SF-SSDA), which transfers a pre-trained model to a new dataset with no source data and limited labeled target data, can be used for privacy-preserving seizure subtype classification. This paper considers two challenges in SF-SSDA for EEG-based seizure subtype classification: 1) How to effectively fuse both raw EEG data and expert knowledge in classifier design? 2) How to align the source and target domain distributions for SF-SSDA? We propose a Knowledge-Data Fusion based SF-SSDA approach, KDF-MutuaISHOT, for EEG-based seizure subtype classification. In source model training, KDF uses Jensen-Shannon Diver-gence to facilitate mutual learning between a feature-driven Decision Tree-based model and a data-driven Transformer-based model. To adapt KDF to a new target dataset, an SF-SSDA algorithm, MutualSHOT, is developed, which features a consistency-based pseudo-label selection strategy. Experiments on the public TUSZ and CHSZ datasets demonstrated that KDF-MutualSHOT outperformed other supervised and source-free domain adaptation approaches in cross-subject seizure subtype classification.

Despite diffusion models having shown powerful abilities to generate photorealistic images, generating videos that are realistic and diverse still remains in its infancy. One of the key reasons is that current methods intertwine spatial content and temporal dynamics together, leading to a notably increased complexity of text-to-video generation (T2V). In this work, we propose HiGen, a diffusion model-based method that improves performance by decoupling the spatial and temporal factors of videos from two perspectives, i.e., structure level and content level. At the structure level, we decompose the T2V task into two steps, including spatial reasoning and temporal reasoning, using a unified denoiser. Specifically, we generate spatially coherent priors using text during spatial reasoning and then generate temporally coherent motions from these priors during temporal reasoning. At the content level, we extract two subtle cues from the content of the input video that can express motion and appearance changes, respectively. These two cues then guide the model's training for generating videos, enabling flexible content variations and enhancing temporal stability. Through the decoupled paradigm, HiGen can effectively reduce the complexity of this task and generate realistic videos with semantics accuracy and motion stability. Extensive experiments demonstrate the superior performance of HiGen over the state-of-the-art T2V methods. We have released our source code and models.

Refined composite multi-scale dispersion entropy(RCMDE),as a new and effective nonlinear dynamic method,has been applied in the field of medical diagnosis and fault *** this paper,we first introduce RCMDE into the field of underwater acoustic signal processing for complexity feature extraction of ship radiated noise,and then propose a novel classification method for ship-radiated noise based on RCMDE and k-nearest neighbor(KNN),termed *** results of a comparative experiment show that the proposed RCMDE-KNN classification method can effectively extract the complexity features of ship-radiated noise,and has better classification performance under one and two scales than the other three classification methods based on multi-scale permutation entropy(MPE)and KNN,multi-scale weighted-permutation entropy(MW-PE)and KNN,and multi-scale dispersion entropy(MDE)and KNN,termed MPE-KNN,MW-PE-KNN,and *** is proved that the RCMDE-KNN classification method for ship-radiated noise is feasible and effective,and can obtain a very high recognition rate.

This article addresses an adaptive tracking control problem for uncertain high-order fully actuated (HOFA) systems with unknown parameters and disturbances. Under the framework of backstepping, the unknown parameter is estimated and the external disturbance is handled by using adaptive control and H8 technique, respectively. Moreover, the Levant differentiator is employed to reduce the computation burden. Additionally, the boundedness of signals in the closed-loop system is proven using the Lyapunov theory. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is validated through the simulation study. © 2024 IEEE.

The current diagnostic methods for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) based on Resting-State Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (rs-fMRI) face two significant challenges. Firstly, the functional connectivity networks (FCNs) of the brain are subject to uncertainty due to noise interference during the rs-fMRI acquisition process. Secondly, variations in equipment parameters across different imaging sites lead to diverse distributions of collected features. To address these issues, this paper introduces a novel Multi-Task Stacked Adaptive Fuzzy Neural Network (AT-STTSK) specifically designed for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classification. The proposed network seamlessly integrates a Multi-Output TSK (MO-TSK) fuzzy system, a Stacked Autoencoder (SAE), and a Transformer. This integration aims to reduce the impact of uncertainty factors, enhance the model's interpretability, and leverage the multi-head attention mechanisms to capture both local and global information, thus strengthening feature learning. Additionally, we explore the utilization of a Contrastive Learning (CL) strategy to further optimize the model. By incorporating these advancements, our AT-STTSK network offers a promising approach for improving the accuracy and reliability of ASD diagnosis based on rs-fMRI data. The validity of the method in this paper is verified on ABIDE dataset, and the result shows that the accuracy rate can reach 85.7% at most.

The multi-stack fuel cell system (MFCS) is an important basis for the application of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) technology to large-scale power generation systems. MFCS can provide higher power, longer lifetime and better reliability. Different from the single-stack fuel cell system (SFCS), there may be some inconsistencies among the stacks in the MFCS. If the inconsistencies are ignored, they will significantly affect the lifetime of the MFCS. This study focuses on the lifetime extension of multi-stack SOFC power generation systems with inconsistent stacks. Since the multi-stack system of SOFC generally cannot control the flow rate of each stack respectively, it brings a difficulty to the control of the MFCS with inconsistencies among the stacks. In order to overcome this difficulty, this paper built a multi-stack SOFC system model, which can characterize the degradation and inconsistencies among SOFC stacks. And then designed a power distribution strategy based on fuzzy control to extend the lifetime of the MFCS. The strategy was verified by simulations. The simulation results show that the strategy can effectively control the inconsistencies among the stacks and significantly extend the lifetime of the MFCS. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.
