Indoor localization is a popular topic because of the poor performance of GPS in the indoor environment. This paper has provided a new method to achieve the goal of indoor localization. Combining the usage of posture sensors with the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, we solved the problem of plentiful tags in the traditional RFID indoor localization. The relative localization subsystem is based on posture sensors and the absolute localization subsystem is based on RFID. A set-membership theory based data fusion algorithm is proposed to fuse the data of relative localization and absolute localization. Experimental results show that the proposed data fusion algorithm could significantly reduce the accumulated error of our indoor localization system.

This paper addresses the problem of circuit design and global exponential stabilization of memristive neural networks with time-varying delays and general activation functions. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method and free weighting matrix technique, a delay-dependent criteria for the global exponential stability and stabilization of memristive neural networks are derived in form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Two numerical examples are elaborated to illustrate the characteristics of the results. It is noteworthy that the traditional assumptions on the boundness of the derivative of the time-varying delays are removed.

Cluster analysis is important in scientific and industrial fields. In this study, we proposed a novel chaotic biogeography-based optimization (CBBO) method, and applied it in centroid-based clustering methods. The results over three types of simulation data showed that this proposed CBBO method gave better performance than chaotic particle swarm optimization, genetic algorithm, firefly algorithm, and quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization. In all, our CBBO method is effective in centroid-based clustering.
