A planar, small size, high gain, low specific absorption rate (SAR) and circularly-polarized (CP) wearable antenna is proposed in this paper. The antenna is fabricated on a substrate with a dielectric constant of 3.5 with a thickness of 0.5 mm and sized at 42×42 mm only. Both the simulation results show that the overlap bandwidth of impedance and axial ratio of the proposed antenna is 13.7% (5.15-5.91 GHz). To isolate the antenna against the influence of the human body, a artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) plane is added on the reverse side of the radiator. The AMC structure effectively isolates the human body from the radiation of the antenna and reduces the specific absorption rate (SAR) of it by more than 96.1% at 5.5 GHz, which improves the antenna gain and the peak gain reaches 5.09 dBi at 5.5 GHz. The wearable performance of the antenna was analyzed, and it is observed that it can sustain good performance even under human body loading. Beside, the antenna has a small size, which makes it ideal for wearable applications. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Surface electromyography (sEMG) is widely utilized in rehabilitation therapy. However, existing gesture recognition methods predominantly concentrate on rigid static gestures, overlooking the importance of dynamic switching in practical tasks and the associated dynamic features for natural hand control. This neglect limits the consideration of hand gesture dexterity and diversity. In response, this work proposes a novel paradigm for hand gesture recognition, in which the switching state between two gestures is treated equally as a static pattern for downstream feature extraction and classification. A 3-dimensional self-organizing mapping neural network is investigated to fully characterize the high-dimensional sEMG signals. Due to the sequential feature of hand gesture variation, the prior switching probability is further applied to reduce ambiguity and computational consumption. The proposed paradigm and algorithm are tested and verified through five-fold cross-validation with multiple subjects. The experimental results show that the average accuracy of the 3D self-organizing mapping method is 78.74% while considering switching states, which is at least 6.97% higher than some traditional learning-based algorithms: long short-term memory and wavelet neural network. This work suggests the potential for achieving dexterous control in prosthetics. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

GTK:A Hybrid-Search Algorithm of Top-Rank-k Frequent Patterns Based on Greedy Strategy

Currently,the top-rank-k has been widely applied to mine frequent patterns with a rank not exceeding *** the existing algorithms,although a level-wise-search could fully mine the target patterns,it usually leads to the delay of high rank patterns generation,resulting in the slow growth of the support threshold and the mining *** at this problem,a greedy-strategy-based top-rank-k frequent patterns hybrid mining algorithm(GTK)is proposed in this *** this algorithm,top-rank-k patterns are stored in a static doubly linked list called RSL,and the patterns are divided into short patterns and long *** short patterns generated by a rank-first-search always joins the two patterns of the highest rank in RSL that have not yet been *** the basis of the short patterns satisfying specific conditions,the long patterns are extracted through *** reduce redundancy,GTK improves the generation method of subsume index and designs the new pruning strategies of *** algorithm also takes the use of reasonable pruning strategies to reduce the amount of computation to improve the computational *** datasets and synthetic datasets are adopted in experiments to evaluate the proposed *** experimental results show the obvious advantages in both time efficiency and space efficiency of GTK.

Separate, Locate and Align: Determine Context Relation of Scene Text from Multiple Perspectives in TextVQA

Text-based Visual Question Answering (TextVQA) focuses on answering questions about the scene text in images. Most works in this field uses transformer based models to modeling the interaction of question and scene texts which means the scene texts will be treated as a natural language sentence and concatenated in reading order as a part of input. However, they ignore the fact that different from words in natural language sentence which have inherent context relation, the context relation of scene texts in images need to be determined. To tackle this problem, we propose a novel method named Separate, Locate and Align (SLA) that discriminate the context relation of scene texts from semantic, visual and spatial aspects. Specifically, based on scene texts with similar visual information (e.g. background color, font color, font style, etc.) having semantic contextual relations, we propose a Text Semantic Separate (TSS) module to discriminate the semantic relation between different scene texts according to their visual contextual information. Then, we introduce a Spatial Circle Position (SCP) module that helps the model discriminate the spatial relation between different scene texts. Last, we design a Visual Alignment (VA) module to help the model distinguish the visual relationships between different scene texts according to the color distribution differences. Extensive experiments show that our method outperforms existing alternatives on TextVQA and ST-VQA datasets without pre-training tasks. © 1991-2012 IEEE.

In the digital era,electronic medical record(EMR)has been a major way for hospitals to store patients’medical *** traditional centralized medical system and semi-trusted cloud storage are difficult to achieve dynamic balance between privacy protection and data *** storage capacity of blockchain is limited and single blockchain schemes have poor scalability and low *** address these issues,we propose a secure and efficient medical data storage and sharing scheme based on double *** our scheme,we encrypt the original EMR and store it in the *** storage blockchain stores the index of the complete EMR,and the shared blockchain stores the index of the shared part of the *** with different attributes can make requests to different blockchains to share different parts according to their own *** experiments,it was found that cloud storage combined with blockchain not only solved the problem of limited storage capacity of blockchain,but also greatly reduced the risk of leakage of the original *** Extraction Signature(CES)combined with the double blockchain technology realized the separation of the privacy part and the shared part of the original *** symmetric encryption technology combined with Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption(CP–ABE)not only ensures the safe storage of data in the cloud,but also achieves the consistency and convenience of data update,avoiding redundant backup of *** analysis and performance analysis verified the feasibility and effectiveness of our scheme.

A Hybrid Tourism Recommendation System Based on Multi-Objective Evolutionary Algorithm and Re-Ranking

The tourism recommendation system (TRS) can intelligently recommend the next attractions for users according to their historical visit records. To improve tourists’ travel experience, it is very important for TRS to select the attractions that users are interested in from a large number of attractions. Most tourism recommendation methods only consider accuracy as an evaluation index, which can no longer meet the needs of users who are increasingly seeking for diversified attractions. Actually, there is often a conflict between accuracy and diversity, and how to balance these two conflict objectives is a difficulty problem for recommendation system. In order to solve the problem, a hybrid recommendation model based on multi-objective optimization and re-ranking (MOEA/D-HRR) is proposed in this study. To overcome the limited predictive power of a single recommendation algorithm, MOEA/D-HRR mixes three different classical techniques by weighted summation of their recommended results, and then improve the diversity of the recommendation list by using the re-ranking algorithm based on Maximal Marginal Relevance (MMR). In addition, we construct a multi-objective optimization problem in which accuracy and diversity are formulated as two objectives, and use a multi-objective evolutionary algorithm (MOEA) to optimize the weights and parameter of the re-ranking algorithm. A lot of experiments on two public tourism datasets and a new tourism dataset were carried out. Experimental results showed that the model could provide users with diversified attractions while ensuring the accuracy of recommendation attraction. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

A hybrid subgrid scheme based on the conventional finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) schemes are proposed. The alternating-direction-implicit FDTD (ADI-FDTD) is used to calculate electromagnetic fields in fine grid regions subgrids and the FDTD method is applied to the coarse grid regions. Numerical results demonstrate that the drastically reduced computation time and memory can be achieved by using the proposed 3D hybrid algorithm.

When we geometrically optimize the metal nanoparticles embedded in the active layer of perovskite, the light absorption capacity of perovskite solar cells has been significantly enhanced. At the same time, we investigate the effect of metal nanoparticles heating on the electrical performance and stability of perovskite solar cells. The research results show that the heat loss of the metal nanoparticles can be effectively reduced by optimizing the geometric parameters of the metal nanoparticles. The temperature of the perovskite active layer is also reduced. The results show that the carrier mobility of the perovskite solar cell increased. The energy conversion efficiency of the perovskite solar cell increased by 38%.

A novel broadband millimeter-wave(mm-Wave) vertically-integrated Vivaldi antenna with stable gain and good radiation patterns is presented in this paper. The proposed antenna element consists of five substrates. There are two symmetrical metal radiation strips on the top of each substrate. The two adjacent stripes are connected through the metallized via. A coupling-slot on the substrate integrated waveguide(SIW) is employed as the feeding structure to these strips. Simulations show that the antenna can have a wider impedance bandwidth of 28%, and a higher gain of 8 dBi. In addition, based on this antenna element, a 2×2 circularly polarized(CP) antenna array is designed to demonstrate that the proposed antenna is a promising candidate for the mm-Wave CP applications. The 2×2 array exhibits an impedance bandwidth of 16.8% and axial ratio(AR) bandwidth of 16.6% with the good right-hand CP radiation patterns.

With the development of technology and threat forms, network intrusion detection has become a challenging task. The intrusion detection algorithm based on supervised learning requires a lot of manpower and material resources to obtain a large amount of labeled data. Besides, the accuracy of unsupervised learning can not meet the requirements of intrusion detection systems. We propose a semi-supervised network intrusion detection method in this paper. Information Gain is employed to filter redundancy features. Then, we combine labeled samples with unlabeled samples and adopt Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to convert multiple features into comprehensive features. Finally, an Tri-Training strategy is adopted to integrate the basic LightGBM classifier, and make full use of unlabeled data to generate pseudo labels, thereby optimizing the basic LightGBM classifier. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach, a large number of experiments are performed on the UNSW-NB15 dataset. The experimental results fully show that the method is superior in improving detection efficiency and reducing label dependence, and has a lower false alarm rate and a higher detection rate. © 2020 IEEE.
