The multi-section coupled transmission line is equivalent to the cascade of multi-section ladder impedance filters, which provides a basis for the research of broadband directional couplers and meets the needs of microwave systems. Using this method, a multi-section -15 dB stripline directional coupler was designed in the application frequency range of 0.7-3.7 GHz, and the directional coupler was improved by loading the branch compensation capacitor. And through the electromagnetic simulation software HFSS for simulation optimization. The simulation results show that the coupling degree of the coupler is about -15 dB in 0.7-3.7 GHz, the return loss is greater than 20 dB and the isolation is greater than 30 dB, the insertion loss is less than 0.33 dB, the in-band fluctuation is less than 1 dB, and the physical size is 38mm $\times 6$ mm, which meets the design requirements of the -15 dB coupler.

Intercepting and repeatedly retransmitting radar signals, interrupted sampling repeater jamming (ISRJ) generates higher power false signals that can seriously affect radar operation. To combat this interference, a scheme for countering ISRJ with Doppler frequency shifts by designing a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar with pulse train encoding and decoding is proposed. On the one hand, the scheme can suppress the pulse compression sidelobes of the target and ISRJ with Doppler frequency shifts. On the other hand, a detection matrix is designed to identify spurious peaks formed by interfering signals. Finally, the proposed scheme can accurately obtain target and jamming information in the environment while satisfying the constant mode (CM) constraints.

CNNs (Convolutional Neural Networks) have a good performance on most classification tasks, but they are vulnerable when meeting adversarial examples. Research and design of highly aggressive adversarial examples can help enhance the security and robustness of CNNs. The transferability of adversarial examples is still low in black-box settings. Therefore, an adversarial example method based on probability histogram equalization, namely HE-MI-FGSM (Histogram Equalization Momentum Iterative Fast Gradient Sign Method) is proposed. In each iteration of the adversarial example generation process, the original input image is randomly histogram equalized, and then the gradient is calculated to generate adversarial perturbations to mitigate overfitting in the adversarial example. The effectiveness of the method is verified on the ImageNet dataset. Compared with the advanced method I-FGSM (Iterative Fast Gradient Sign Method) and MI-FGSM (Momentum I-FGSM), the attack success rate in the adversarial training network increased by 27.9% and 7.7% on average, respectively.

To effectively improve the frequency selectivity of the filter, a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) filter with miniaturization and out-of-band rejection was designed. To achieve the desired filter response, symmetrical C-shaped resonators are etched on the top and bottom layers of the SIW filter. The C-shaped resonator etched on the top layer of SIW achieves miniaturization and filtering characteristics. In order to improve the frequency response, a two-stage SIW filter and a SIW filter with coupled gap-ring defected ground structure (CGRDGS) are proposed, and an equivalent circuit is given to verify the transmission response. In the Mobile Edge computing (MEC) environment, the prediction efficiency is low when user recommendation is based on Quality of Service (QoS) data due to network environment and other factors. Traditional methods use Collaborative Filtering (CF) or tensor decomposition methods to mine the relationship between historical QoS data for prediction, but there are problems with prediction accuracy and efficiency. Given this, this paper proposes an efficient QoS data prediction method (CTT) combining tensor kernel paradigm-tensor decomposition. The method first introduces the tensor kernel norm to approximate the tensor rank function to better capture the spatio-temporal correlation of real QoS data; Second, tensor decomposition is combined to address inefficiencies. Experimental results on the public QoS dataset WS-Dream show that the method significantly improves the runtime while guaranteeing prediction accuracy and applies to scenarios with different data missing densities.

Community detection is a trendy area in research on complex network analysis and has a wide range of real-world applications, like advertising. As people become increasingly concerned about privacy, protecting participants’ privacy in distributed community detection has become a new challenge. When applied to not identically and independently distributed (Non-IID) data, most federated graph algorithms suffer from the weight divergence problem caused by diversified training of local and global models, resulting in accuracy degradation. Furthermore, the privacy protection approaches based on anonymization, such as differential privacy (DP), and cryptography, such as homomorphic encryption (HE), incur accuracy loss and high time consumption, respectively. In this paper, we propose a globally consistent vertical federated graph autoencoder (GCVFGAE) algorithm, which builds a globally consistent model among the coordinator and all participants to solve the Non-IID graph data problem. As well, an attribute blinding strategy based on security aggregation is developed to protect the network privacy of each participant without losing accuracy. Both real-world and artificial networks’ experiments show that our algorithm reaches higher accuracy than the existing vertical federated graph neural networks (GNNs) and the simple distributed graph autoencoder without federated learning and detects communities identical to those found by the standard graph autoencoder (GAE). © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In this paper, we propose a novel convolutional neural network (MDR-Net) for ultrasound image segmentation by exploiting multi-decision and deep refinement of the target. Our MDR-Net consists of two main parts, i.e., a multi-decision module (MDM) and a deep refinement module (DRM). Specifically, the MDM effectively addresses the issue of inconspicuous target regions in ultrasound images by combining multi-scale features and multi-receptive field self-attention to enhance the discriminative representation of features and diagnose feature points multiple times. In addition, to alleviate the problem of blurred boundaries and severe speckle noise, the DRM progressively fuses multi-scale features and makes the fused features interact with higher-level features to refine the target details step by step. Finally, we evaluate the proposed method on two publicly available datasets, namely BUSI and UDIAT. We achieve a Dice of 0.8265 and 0.8827 on the two datasets, which are at least 2% and 1.24% higher than other state-of-the-art ultrasound image segmentation methods.

To solve the problem of semantic loss in text representation, this paper proposes a new embedding method of word representation in semantic space called wt2svec based on supervised latent Dirichlet allocation(SLDA) and Word2vec. It generates the global topic embedding word vector utilizing SLDA which can discover the global semantic information through the latent topics on the whole document set. It gets the local semantic embedding word vector based on the Word2vec. The new semantic word vector is obtained by combining the global semantic information with the local semantic information. Additionally, the document semantic vector named doc2svec is generated. The experimental results on different datasets show that wt2svec model can obviously promote the accuracy of the semantic similarity of words,and improve the performance of text categorization compared with Word2vec.

Polyps, like a silent time bomb in the gut, are always lurking and can explode into deadly colorectal cancer at any time. Many methods are attempted to maximize the early detection of colon polyps by screening, however, there are still face some challenges: (i) the scarcity of per-pixel annotation data and clinical features such as the blurred boundary and low contrast of polyps result in poor performance. (ii) existing weakly semi-supervised methods directly using pseudo-labels to supervise student tend to ignore the value brought by intermediate features in the teacher. To adapt the point-prompt teacher model to the challenging scenarios of complex medical images and limited annotation data, we creatively leverage the diverse inductive biases of CNN and Transformer to extract robust and complementary representation of polyp features (boundary and context). At the same time, a novel designed teacher–student intermediate feature distillation method is introduced rather than just using pseudo-labels to guide student learning. Comprehensive experiments demonstrate that our proposed method effectively handles scenarios with limited annotations and exhibits good segmentation performance. Federated graph learning has been widely used in distributed graph machine learning tasks. The data distribution of existing graph-based federated Spatio-temporal prediction methods is mainly segmented by graph topology. However, in the real-world Spatio-temporal traffic speed prediction task, a location will have data from different devices belonging to different companies. A node may have multi-party information in the real-world distributed traffic speed prediction scenario. The difference in multi-party information leads to the information not being fully utilized. Moreover, the direct transmission of node embedding in the federated learning process may also risk privacy leaks. Using homomorphic encryption and other encryption methods will bring a high computational overhead. Therefore we propose a new distributed privacy-preserving traffic speed prediction algorithm, which uses secure node attribute aggregation strategy(SNAAS) to apply to the multi-party collaborative traffic speed prediction scenario when the graph topology structure is public. At the same time, secret sharing technology is used in SNAAS to protect the attribute matrix and reduce the overhead of secret computing. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
