Based on the analysis of the Cusp magnetic field suppression convection principle, the simulation model of superconducting Cusp magnetic field is built by the finite element method. In the case of satisfying the magnetic field strength of the crucible wall and giving the excitation current, the number of layers of the superconducting coil is calculated by using the established model. The influence of coil spacing, thickness of shielding thickness, horizontal distance between coil and shielding thickness and longitudinal distance on magnetic induction strength, horizontal distance and longitudinal distance between coil and the shielding are analyzed under the condition that the number of superconducting coils is constant. The influence of the force on the coil, the influence of the thickness of the shielding body on the magnetic leakage strength of the magnetic field. The simulation results show that the optimized Cusp magnetic field structure parameters can be used in the actual design. © 2018 IEEE.

Multi-agent task assignment problem exists in collaborative target tracking, collaborative rescue, regional search, etc. Most researchers regarding multi-agent task assignment only consider static tasks. However, in complex scenarios, the states of tasks (e.g., Monitoring of hazardous environments) are time-varying. This type of the task can be modeled as a multi-point dynamic aggregation (MPDA) process. This paper proposes a distributed task assignment method for the MPDA task. This method firstly adopts an auction algorithm to obtain a pre-allocation planning that can ensure every task can be completed. Then, the agents who complete the pre-allocation planning will evaluate the uncompleted tasks and assist other agents to complete these tasks, so that tasks can be completed as soon as possible. Compared with the optimal solution, simulations show that the task allocation method can obtain satisfied allocation solutions with a lower computational cost. The gap from the optimal solution is only 8% on average. Especially, for problems including more than 100 tasks, the proposed method can obtain planning solutions within one second, and the makespan of the MPDA task is more than 50% better than the best one of the 1000 random sample solutions. © 2018, Curran Associates Inc. Distributed sub-optimal resource allocation via a projected form of singular perturbation

Distributed optimization for resource allocation problems is investigated and a sub-optimal continuous-time algorithm is proposed. Our algorithm has lower order dynamics than others to reduce burdens of computation and communication, and is applicable to weight-balanced graphs. Moreover, it can deal with both local constraints and coupled inequality constraints, and remove the requirement of twice differentiability of the cost function in comparison with the existing sub-optimal algorithm. However, this algorithm is not easy to be analyzed since it involves singular perturbation type dynamics with projected non-differentiable righthand side. We overcome the encountered difficulties and obtain results including the existence of an equilibrium of the algorithm, the sub-optimality in the sense that the solution approaches to the optimal solution as an adjustable parameter tends to zero, and the convergence of the algorithm. Generalization of integral inequalities and (c_1,c_1) stability of neutral differential equations with time-varying delays

A uniform stability analysis is developed for a type of neutral delays differential equations which depend on more general nonlinear integral inequalities. Many original investigations and results are obtained. Firstly, generations of two integral nonlinear inequalities are presented, which are very effective in dealing with the complicated integro-differential inequalities whose variable exponents are greater than zero. Compared with existed integral inequalities, those proposed here can be applied to more complicated differential equations, such as time-varying delay neutral differential equations. Secondly, the notions of (ω, Ω) uniform stable and (ω, Ω) uniform asymptotically stable, especially (c1, c1) uniform stable and (c1, c1) uniform asymptotically stable, are presented. Sufficient conditions on about (c1, c1) uniform stable and (c1, c1) uniform asymptotically stable of time-varying delay neutral differential equations are established by the proposed integral inequalities. Finally, a complex numerical example is presented to illustrate the main results effectively. The above work allows to provide further applications on the proposed stability analysis and control system design for different nonlinear systems. © 2017 Beijing Institute of Aerospace Information.

Wearable devices have appeared in every aspect of our lives, from small items such as wristbands and eyeglasses to finished garments as shoes and clothing. With the promoting of scientific development, intelligent technology is also combined with wearable devices to form a unique network that depends on the human body. The increasing demand for equipment has made smart wearable devices a research hotspot. Such equipment is usually small, light-weight, good flexibility, and can be adapted to the complex use of the environment. But these advantages just become the limitations of power supply for ***, the fixed charger can not be used to charge the device during use, and the volume of such a special battery can not be increased in order to increase the storage capacity. Therefore, how to solve the problem of power suppling for the wearable device effectively is a big challenge. Based on this, the paper proposes a distributed system of smart wearable energy harvesting, which considers the human body as the core and uses a variety of ubiquitous energy sources such as solar energy, thermal energy and mechanical energy. The system makes a combination of wearable and distributed design to form a wireless body area network,and provides a stable power output for smart wearable devices.

Silicon crystal puller (SCP) is a key equipment in silicon wafer manufacture, which is, in turn, the base material for the most currently used integrated circuit (IC) chips. With the development of the techniques, the demand for longer mono-silicon crystal rod with larger diameter is continuously increasing in order to reduce the manufacture time and the price of the wafer. This demand calls for larger SCP with increasing height, however, it causes serious swing phenomenon of the crystal seed. The strong swing of the seed causes difficulty in the solidification and increases the risk of mono-silicon growth *** main aim of this paper is to analyze the nonlinear dynamics in the FSRL system of the SCP. A mathematical model for the swing motion of the FSRL system is derived. The influence of relevant parameters, such as system damping, excitation amplitude and rotation speed, on the stability and the responses of the system are analyzed. The stability of the equilibrium, bifurcation and chaotic motion are demonstrated, which are often observed in practical situations. Melnikov method is used to derive the possible parameter region that leads to chaotic motion. Three routes to chaos are identified in the FSRL system, including period doubling, symmetry-breaking bifurcation and interior crisis. The work in this paper explains the complex dynamics in the FSRL system of the SCP, which will be helpful for the SCP designers in order to avoid the swing phenomenon in the SCP. Sensor network deployment is the key for sensors to play an important performance. Based on game theory, first, the authors propose a multi-type sensor target allocation method for the autonomous deployment of sensors, considering exploration cost, target detection value, exploration ability and other factors. Then, aiming at the unfavorable environment, e.g., obstacles and enemy interference, the authors design a method to maintain the connectivity of sensor network, under the conditions of effective detection of the targets. Simulation result shows that the proposed deployment strategy can achieve the dynamic optimization deployment under complex conditions.

In this paper, a novel online Q-Iearning approach is proposed to solve the Infinite Horizon Linear Quadratic Regulator (IHLQR) problem for continuous-time (CT) linear time-invariant (LMI) systems. The proposed Q-Iearning algorithm employing off-policy reinforcement learning (RL) technology improves the exploration ability of Q-Iearning to the state space. During the learning process, the Q-Iearning algorithm can be implemented just using the data sets which just contains the information of the behavior policy and the corresponding system state, thus is data- driven. Moreover, the data sets can be used repeatedly, which is computationally efficient. A mild condition on probing noise is established to ensure the converge of the proposed Q-Iearning algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed algorithm.

This paper is concerned with the problem of cooperative attitude tracking and vibration reduction for multiple flexible spacecraft without modal variable measurement under a directed communication topology. Firstly, a distributed attitude synchronization control law for MRPs representation is proposed in the absence of external disturbances, where the modal information is obtained using a modal variable estimator. To deal with a more practical case that the spacecraft are affected by external disturbances, the control law is further modified by integrating a disturbance observer and a feedforward compensating scheme,in which the lumped disturbances including the external disturbances and errors of the estimated modal information are observed and compensated in finite time. Under this enhanced control scheme, the attitude tracking errors and vibration variables will converge to zero even in the presence of external disturbances, and the controller is continuous and chattering-free. Besides,compared with the existing results, the communication graph in this paper is assumed to be directed and contain a spanning tree with the virtual leader as the root node. A numerical example is illustrated to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.

Particulate environment is frequently encountered in the millimeter wave propagation path. The particles usually produce scattering and absorption to the millimeter wave. Unfortunately, these particles usually have different size, ingredients and even a mixture of many elements. This paper presents a preliminary study of the attenuation of particles on millimeter wave transmission. The dielectric property of water sand and ice were also discussed. The study was conducted at 110 GHz and 220 GHz. Calculation was based on the Mie theory. A full wave simulation was also conducted to better understand the attenuation effect.
