To meet the requirements of precision assembly in industrial scenarios, an efficient, accurate and robust modeling control method has become an important research objective. This paper proposes a novel manipulator control method with three-level constraints, called the real deep Lagrangian network (Real-DeLaN). In this method, real data (also called physical data) are collected from the physical manipulator and utilized to train the Lagrangian dynamics network model to improve the migration ability from simulation to reality. The torque output of the dynamic model is corrected by real-time calculation of friction in the network. The contact force on the end effector of the manipulator is compensated based on the principle of virtual displacement work. Furthermore, a robust controller based on the dynamics model is designed, and the Lyapunov theorem is used to prove that the controlled system can achieve three different kinds of stability. The experimental results show that Real-DeLaN can better control the joints to perform trajectory tracking, reduce the friction error of the manipulator, and show better anti-interference ability. The robust controller further improves the robustness and tracking control effect of this method. Moreover, the method has higher practicability than other existing methods due to its good adaptability and migration ability. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

With the widespread application of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), ensuring system stability and security has become increasingly crucial. The jamming problem seriously affects signal reception. Traditional detection methods are costly and susceptible to equipment bias. In this study, leveraging the extensive coverage of mobile phones, we propose a machine learning-based approach for GNSS crowdsourcing jammer detection and localization. Firstly, employ the Random Forest algorithm (RF) to detect jamming in screened GNSS raw measurements;subsequently, utilize Gaussian process regression optimized by genetic algorithm (GA-GPR) to predict the spatial distribution of carrier-to-noise ratio (C/N0) and automatic gain control (AGC). By applying weighted fitting and gradient descent techniques on the spatial distribution of C/N0 and AGC, the location of jammers is determined based on their minimum values. To evaluate our approach, we conducted experiments in an open environment measuring 80 m × 70 m using a commercial jammer and 16 mobile phones as measurement devices. The results demonstrate that our algorithm achieves a jamming detection accuracy rate of 99.69% and accurate localization with an average error distance of 1.2456 m. © 2025, The Authors. A compact dual polarization dipole antenna for the application to 5G base station is investigated, which is composed of radiator, baluns, and metal reflector, having an impendence bandwidth of 23.6% with VSWR<1.5. The dual-polarized antenna has a high ports isolation, high cross-polarization and high gain in operating bandwidth. The results indicate that this work can operate in entire N78 band and provide potential application for 5G base station.

NL-CS Net: Deep Learning with Non-Local Prior for Image Compressive Sensing

Deep learning has been applied to compressive sensing (CS) of images successfully in recent years. However, existing network-based methods are often trained as the black box, in which the lack of prior knowledge is often the bottleneck for further performance improvement. To overcome this drawback, this paper proposes a novel CS method using non-local prior which combines the interpretability of the traditional optimization methods with the speed of network-based methods, called NL-CS Net. We unroll each phase from iteration of the augmented Lagrangian method solving non-local and sparse regularized optimization problem by a network. NL-CS Net is composed of the up-sampling module and the recovery module. In the up-sampling module, we use learnable up-sampling matrix instead of a predefined one. In the recovery module, patch-wise non-local network is employed to capture long-range feature correspondences. Important parameters involved (e.g. sampling matrix, nonlinear transforms, shrinkage thresholds, step size, etc.) are learned end-to-end, rather than hand-crafted. Furthermore, to facilitate practical implementation, orthogonal and binary constraints on the sampling matrix are simultaneously adopted. Extensive experiments on natural images and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms the state-of-the-art methods while maintaining great interpretability and speed. © 2023, CC BY.

Resistance Distances in Directed Graphs: Definitions, Properties, and Applications

Resistance distance has been studied extensively in the past years, with the majority of previous studies devoted to undirected networks, in spite of the fact that various realistic networks are directed. Although several generalizations of resistance distance on directed graphs have been proposed, they either have no physical interpretation or are not a metric. In this paper, we first extend the definition of resistance distance to strongly connected directed graphs based on random walks and show that the two-node resistance distance on directed graphs is a metric. Then, we introduce the Laplacian matrix for directed graphs that subsumes the Laplacian matrix of undirected graphs as a particular case, and use its pseudoinverse to express the two-node resistance distance, and many other relevant quantities derived from resistance distances. Moreover, we define the resistance distance between a vertex and a vertex group on directed graphs and further define a problem of optimally selecting a group of fixed number of nodes, such that their resistance distance is minimized. Since this combinatorial optimization problem is NP-hard, we present a greedy algorithm with a proved approximation ratio, and conduct experiments on model and realistic networks to validate the performance of this approximation algorithm. Knowledge Graph has become a dominant research field in graph theory, but its incompleteness and sparsity hinder its application in various fields. Knowledge Graph Reasoning aims to alleviate these problems by deducing new knowledge or identifying false knowledge from existing knowledge. Recently, the Graph Convolution Network (GCN) based method is one of the most advanced methods to realize knowledge graph reasoning. However, it still suffers from some problems such as incomplete neighbor information aggregation and slow training speed. This paper proposes a knowledge graph reasoning model named GK for the link prediction task, which obtains better performance than existing GCN-based methods by introducing Graphormer into knowledge reasoning. The GK first proposes that nodes and their surroundings can be regarded as a hierarchical architecture that enables the model to capture more practical reasoning information to improve prediction accuracy. In addition, to accelerate the training speed of the model on the large-scale Knowledge Graph, we present a faster shortest path-finding method F-SPF in the edge coding process. Extensive experimental results show that the GK model can obtain the state-of-the-art prediction results of current GCN-based methods and can improve the training speed.

The advancement of Zero-Shot Learning in the medi-cal domain has been driven forward by using pretrained models on large-scale image-text pairs, focusing on image-text alignment. However, existing methods primarily rely on cosine similarity for alignment, which may not fully capture the complex relationship between medical images and reports. To address this gap, we introduce a novel approach called Cross-Attention Alignment for Radiology Zero-Shot Classification (CARZero). Our approach innovatively leverages cross-attention mechanisms to process image and report features, creating a Similarity Representation that more accurately reflects the intricate relationships in medical semantics. This representation is then linearly projected to form an image-text similarity matrix for cross-modality alignment. Additionally, recognizing the pivotal role of prompt selection in zero-shot learning, CARZero in-corporates a Large Language Model-based prompt alignment strategy. This strategy standardizes diverse diagnostic expressions into a unified format for both training and inference phases, overcoming the challenges of manual prompt design. Our approach is simple yet effective, demonstrating state-of-the-art performance in zero-shot classification on five official chest radiograph diagnostic test sets, including remarkable results on datasets with long-tail distributions of rare diseases. This achievement is attributed to our new image-text alignment strategy, which effectively addresses the complex relationship between medical images and reports. VarBen: Generating in Silico Reference Data Sets for Clinical Next-Generation Sequencing Bioinformatics Pipeline Evaluation

Next-generation sequencing is increasingly being adopted as a valuable method for the detection of somatic variants in clinical oncology. However, it is still challenging to reach a satisfactory level of robustness and standardization in clinical practice when using the currently available bioinformatics pipelines to detect variants from raw sequencing data. Moreover, appropriate reference data sets are lacking for clinical bioinformatics pipeline development, validation, and proficiency testing. Herein, we developed the Variant Benchmark tool (VarBen), an open-source software for variant simulation to generate customized reference data sets by directly editing the original sequencing reads. VarBen can introduce a variety of variants, including single-nucleotide variants, small insertions and deletions, and large structural variants, into targeted, exome, or whole-genome sequencing data, and can handle sequencing data from both the Illumina and Ion Torrent sequencing platforms. To demonstrate the feasibility and robustness of VarBen, we performed variant simulation on different sequencing data sets and compared the simulated variants with real-world data. The validation study showed that the simulated data are highly comparable to real-world data and that VarBen is a reliable tool for variant simulation. In addition, our collaborative study of somatic variant calling in 20 laboratories emphasizes the need for laboratories to evaluate their bioinformatics pipelines with customized reference data sets. VarBen may help users develop and validate their bioinformatics pipelines using locally generated sequencing data. © 2021 Association for Molecular Pathology and American Society for Investigative Pathology

We presents a squared sine functioned adaptive (SSA) algorithm for acoustic-echo-cancellation (AEC) applications in-presence-of impulsive noise. In the development of the SSA algorithm, a novel cost function is constructed by exerting a sliding window type squared sine function on the estimation error vector, which provides robustness in the impulsive-noise environments and speed-ups convergence when the input is colored signals. Theoretical models for predicting the mean-weight-behavior, transient excess-mean-square-error (EMSE) behavior, and tracking behavior are presented. Moreover, the optimal step size and minimum EMSE of the tracking performance are provided. The computation complexity of SSA algorithm has also been investigated. Numerical experiments demonstrate that the theoretical results match well with simulation results and show the superiority of the proposed SSA algorithm against known algorithms in AEC applications. © 2023, CC BY.
