Tomographic SAR (TomoSAR) technology has gained significant attention in recent years due to its three-dimensional imaging capability. However, in practical applications, phase errors between different channels can degrade the quality of three-dimensional imaging. Current state-of-the-art methods for phase error compensation based on autofocus techniques suffer from high computational complexity, making them unsuitable for large-scale three-dimensional imaging. In this paper, we propose a multi-channel phase error estimation method based on error back-propagation training optimization. By utilizing the TomoSAR model that incorporates phase errors from multiple channels, we construct a matrix containing the parameters to be estimated for inter-channel phase errors. Through stochastic gradient descent algorithm, we iteratively optimize the parameters of the phase error matrix, ultimately obtaining an estimation of the inter-channel phase errors. Experimental results validate the accuracy of the proposed method.

This paper explores the size-invariance of evaluation metrics in Salient Object Detection (SOD), especially when multiple targets of diverse sizes co-exist in the same image. We observe that current metrics are size-sensitive, where larger objects are focused, and smaller ones tend to be ignored. We argue that the evaluation should be size-invariant because bias based on size is unjustified without additional semantic information. In pursuit of this, we propose a generic approach that evaluates each salient object separately and then combines the results, effectively alleviating the imbalance. We further develop an optimization framework tailored to this goal, achieving considerable improvements in detecting objects of different sizes. Theoretically, we provide evidence supporting the validity of our new metrics and present the generalization analysis of SOD. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our method. Facial Expression Recognition With Vision Transformer Using Fused Shifted Windows

Facial expressions contain massive affective information. Previous methods have focused on using diverse models based on CNN or Transformer to handle the facial expression recognition(FER) task. However, most of them treat the FER task as a general image classification task and neglect the impact of regions of interest (ROIs) for the performance of FER. To verify the influence of different ROIs, in this paper, we propose a vision Transformer based on Fused Shifted windows (FSwin), called FSwin Transformer. The semantic information of the face, obtained by ROIs, guides the FSwin Transformer to focus more on the key regions. The fused shifted windows enable the model to perform global semantic interactions, allowing it to concentrate on key regions without losing the topological structural information of the entire face. Additionally, learnable parameters are introduced to learn the feature weights expressed by each ROI, helping the model dynamically adjust the attention distribution. We have conducted controlled experiments to quantitatively verify the impact of ROIs. And the experimental results show that with the increase of the number of ROIs, the accuracy of FER is significantly improved, demonstrating that the key ROIs play an important role in feature extraction. The results on Jaffe, CK+, FER2013, AffectNet have reached 99.8%, 99.0%, 74.8%, and 68.9%, respectively, which all set new state-of-the-art. Extensive cross-dataset experiments also show that the FSwin Transformer has good generalization ability, proving that our proposed model has a beneficial effect on FER tasks. © 2010-2012 IEEE.

Deriving the spatial features of user equipment (UE) and traffic distribution is crucial for optimizing real-world wireless network performance, such as load balancing and improving cell-edge user experience. In this paper, we creatively construct the beam-space grid with high-dimensional beam reference signal receiving power (RSRP), serving as spatial reference system for 5G mobile networks. However, this is a challenging task due to i) access to 3D UE geographic information is limited by privacy protection and device settings, ii) beam-RSRP with up to 75% loss in measurement reports (MRs), iii) large computation and storage requirements of grid information caused by the exploding grid number in high-dimensional beam-space. A novel approach is designed to tackle these challenges, that coherently integrate low-rank matrix completion and dimension reduction techniques. Using telco big data, specifically MRs from live networks, we recover the beam-RSRP with high-precision and construct the beam-space grid even without geographic information. This research ensures stable derivation of spatial distribution features in the beam-space grid while efficiently processing grid information.

The recognition of stress responses in health, resilience, and psychopathology holds significant scientific importance. The biological information carried by the facial tissue oxygen saturation (StO2) is a useful indicator for stress recognition. Although graph-based methods have achieved state-of-the-art (SOTA), there is room for improvement. This study proposes an automatic graph generation method for facial StO2, replacing manual methods and enhancing the information of graphs. To further enhance the capability of graphs’ representation, a dimensionality reduction strategy for nodes is proposed. The strategy is implemented based on an novel objective function that can increase the inter-class distance and reduce the intra-class distance. After obtaining highly representative graphs, a dual-stream network integrating GAT and GCN is designed to extract stress-related features from the graphs, ultimately achieving the SOTA recognition accuracy.

CausalAPM: Generalizable Literal Disentanglement for NLU Debiasing

Dataset bias, i.e., the over-reliance on dataset-specific literal heuristics, is getting increasing attention for its detrimental effect on the generalization ability of NLU models. Existing works focus on eliminating dataset bias by down-weighting problematic data in the training process, which induce the omission of valid feature information while mitigating bias. In this work, We analyze the causes of dataset bias from the perspective of causal inference and propose CausalAPM, a generalizable literal disentangling framework to ameliorate the bias problem from feature granularity. The proposed approach projects literal and semantic information into independent feature subspaces, and constrains the involvement of literal information in subsequent predictions. Extensive experiments on three NLP benchmarks (MNLI, FEVER, and QQP) demonstrate that our proposed framework significantly improves the OOD generalization performance while maintaining ID performance. In recent years,there are numerous studies on chaotic systems with special equilibrium curves having various shapes such as circle,butterfly,heart and *** paper describes a new 3-D chaotic dynamical system with a capsule-shaped equilibrium *** proposed chaotic system has two quadratic,two cubic and two quartic nonlinear *** is noted that the proposed chaotic system has a hidden attractor since it has an infinite number of equilibrium *** is also established that the proposed chaotic system exhibits multi-stability with two coexisting chaotic attractors for the same parameter values but differential initial states.A detailed bifurcation analysis with respect to variations in the system parameters is portrayed for the new chaotic system with capsule equilibrium *** have shown MATLAB plots to illustrate the capsule equilibrium curve,phase orbits of the new chaotic system,bifurcation diagrams and *** an engineering application,we have proposed a speech cryptosystem with a numerical algorithm,which is based on our novel 3-D chaotic system with a capsule-shaped equilibrium *** proposed speech cryptosystem follows its security evolution and implementation on Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)*** results show that the proposed encryption system utilizes 33%of the FPGA,while the maximum clock frequency is 178.28 MHz.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is rapidly permeating all aspects of human life, involving a network of devices that share sensitive data. A notable application is the e-healthcare systems, which employ connected sensors, medical servers, and wearable devices. However, the public nature of communication in e-healthcare systems poses challenges such as security, privacy, and authentication of participating entities. Recently, many authentication protocols have been introduced to address these challenges. However, most of these protocols remain vulnerable to various security attacks, including device or medical server impersonation, denial of service, physical or cloning, and de-synchronization attacks. Therefore, we introduce an authenticated key-management protocol utilizing hash functions and Cipher-Block Chaining-Advanced Encryption Standard encryption (CBC-AES) encryption. The proposed protocol also employs the Physical Unclonable Function (PUF), which makes it more robust and efficient in resisting physical or cloning attacks. Additionally, the proposed scheme resists various security threats, including impersonation, session key leakage, ephemeral secret leakage, and de-synchronization attacks. We analyze the scheme’s security and reliability through formal and informal analysis. The informal analysis demonstrates that the scheme encompasses crucial security features, while the formal analysis substantiates. Moreover, performance analysis of the proposed protocol with various competing results indicates that our protocol achieves an average reduction in communication and computation overheads by 36.03.% and 41.79%, respectively. © 2014 IEEE.

Remote sensing technology plays an important role in many tasks such as natural disaster detection, weather and climate monitoring and military defense. Currently, remote sensing image processing predominantly relies on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Transformers, which require a huge amount of multiplication and addition operations, bringing pressure to the deployment of satellite platforms with strict power consumption and computing power constraints. Spiking neural network (SNN), where the signal is encoded as a spike train instead of analog values, significantly reduces energy consumption compared to traditional artificial neural network. This paper proposes an all-input parallel deployment approach that minimizes or eliminates interactions with off-chip memory, thereby accelerating inference speed and reducing power consumption. We deployed LeNet ultra-low latency SNN on the Xilinx VC709 Board. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed accelerator achieves a processing speed of 1240 frames per second, an accuracy rate of 98.14%, and a power consumption of only 0.745 Watts, making it well-suited for the low power and real-time requirements of remote sensing tasks.

The rapid development of the Internet of Things (IoT) accumulates a large number of communication records, which are utilized for anomaly detection in IoT communication. However, only a small part of these records can be labeled, which increases the difficulty in anomaly detection. This article proposes a semisupervised hierarchical stacking temporal convolutional network (HS-TCN), which is the first semisupervised model for anomaly detection in IoT communication, and it can train unlabeled data based on a small number of labeled data. Furthermore, HS-TCN fully considers the features of streaming data in IoT communication and can weed out uncertain records. Finally, the experimental results demonstrate that HS-TCN promotes the performance of anomaly detection and attains better efficiency. © 2014 IEEE.
