Since different ontologies are mostly developed independently, establishing meaningful links between their entities, so-called ontology matching, is critical to ensure their communication. Due to the complexity of the ontology matching problem, Evolutionary Algorithm (EA) can present a good methodology for determining ontology alignments. However, since none of the similarity measure can distinguish all the identical ontology entities in any context, ontology alignments generated by the automatic matching tools should be validated by the users to ensure their qualities. To improve the quality of the ontology alignment, in this work, a similarity measure is first proposed to calculate the similarity value of two ontology entities; then, an optimal model for ontology matching problem is constructed; after that, an EA-based automatic matcher is presented to solve the ontology matching problem, which can also adaptively determine the timing of getting user involved; and finally, the ontology concept hierarchy graph based reasoning approaches are proposed to tradeoff the user's workload and his work's effect. The experiment is conducted on the Interactive track provided by the Ontology Alignment Evaluation Initiative (OAEI), and the comparisons with OAEI's participants show the effectiveness of our proposal.

Satellite remote sensing will have certain errors in data retrieval accuracy, which requires further ground observation verification. This paper examines and verifies 2019 Jiangsu provincial Ground-level monitoring data and TROPOMI data to evaluate the applicability of TROPOMI tropospheric NO2 Vertical Column Density (VCD) data and compares the results to OMI data analysis verification results. The results show that the correlation coefficient r between the TROPOMI NO2 data and Ground-level monitoring data at the monthly mean scale is as high as 0.9, and consistent seasonal cyclic changes are observed. The correlation between Ground-level monitoring data and OMI NO2 data is lower than TROPOMI (r=0.78 < 0.9). Compared to OMI satellites, the TROPOMI attains a smaller deviation in tropospheric NO2 monitoring. Jiangsu Province had the highest monthly average concentration in January, which were 38.67 ug/m3 (Ground-level), 17.35 × 1015 molec/cm2 (TROPOMI) and 20.04 × 1015 molec/cm2 (OMI). The lowest concentration in August was 13.39 ug/m3 (Ground-level), 5.2 × 1015 molec/cm2 (TROPOMI) and 7.03 × 1015 molec/cm2 (OMI).

Considering the distinctiveness of different group features in the sparse representation, a novel joint multi- task and weighted group sparsity (JMT-WGS) method is pro- posed. By weighting popular group sparsity, not only the rep- resentation coefficients from the same class over their asso- ciate dictionaries may share some similarity, but also the rep- resentation coefficients from different classes have enough di- versity. The proposed method is cast into a multi-task frame- work with two-stage iteration. In the first stage, representa- tion coefficient can be optimized by accelerated proximal gra- dient method when the weights are fixed. In the second stage, the weights are computed via the prior information about their entropy. The experimental results on three facial expres- sion databases show that the proposed algorithm outperforms other state-of-the-art algorithms and demonstrate the promis- ing performance of the proposed algorithm.

The industrial supply chain networks basically capture the circulation of social resource, dominating the stability and efficiency of the industrial system. In this paper, we provide an empirical study of the topology of smartphone supply chain network. The supply chain network is constructed using open online data. Our experimental results show that the smartphone supply chain network has small-world feature with scale-free degree distribution, in which a few high degree nodes play a key role in the function and can effectively reduce the communication cost. We also detect the community structure to find the basic functional unit. It shows that information communication between nodes is crucial to improve the resource utilization. We should pay attention to the global resource configuration for such electronic production management.

This paper studies a security-check system at the high-speed railway stations with two types of inspection channels, including Normal channels and Green channels. Here, general passengers go through the strict inspections in the Normal channels with unlimited waiting space, whereas special passengers are offered a fast inspection in the Green channels with a finite capacity. To investigate the stationary behavior of the studied security-check system, a queueing model is developed through deriving the two-dimensional quasi-birth-and-death(QBD) process. In addition, a matrix-geometric solution is presented in the paper to determine the steady-state probability and evaluate the system performance of interest, such as the average queue length and average waiting time. A sensitivity analysis is also conducted in the numerical experiments to demonstrate the managerial impact of varying the finite capacity in Green channels on the overall system performance.
