Automatic detection of follicle ultrasound images based on improved Faster R-CNN

Follicle Ultrasonic images detection technology plays an important role in the monitoring of bull-follicle. Because of follicle ultrasound image containing lots of speckle noise and fuzzy edges, the traditional image detection algorithm is difficult to get better detection results on the ultrasonic image, and the traditional image detection algorithm needs to carry out sample feature extraction for each image, which is time-consuming and time-consuming and labor-intensive. According to the characteristics of the cattle follicle ultrasound image sets, this paper proposes a model of image detection based on improved deep learning Faster R - CNN to automatically detect cattle ovarian follicles, through joint VGG-16 different network layer characteristic figure to replace single deepest characteristic figure, retain the deep semantic characteristics at the same time, also keep the shallow characterization information. The experimental results show that this method has a better effect on the ultrasonic image detection of bovine follicle.

The ability to reconstruct complex networks plays an important role in our understanding of how nodes interact with each other and how information ows coordinate node's dynamic behaviors. Many similarity-based methods usually prefer steadystate data to time-series and perform poorly with the latter, such as pearson correlation and mutual information. Meanwhile,these similarity-based methods result in networks of non-directional structure. Moreover, various methods have been proposed based on linear dynamic models. One of the most representative methods is graphical granger causality. In this paper,we consider the problem of discovering network structure from time-series and introduce a novel method for reconstructing nonlinear causal interactions among nodes in complex networks, termed as grouped sparse nonlinear graphical granger causality, which is particularly t for directionality and nonlinearity of real network systems. The performance of our proposed method is evaluated on synthetic datasets and the benchmark datasets of Dream3 Challenge4. Both the result of them demonstrate that our proposed method outperforms other methods.

Prediction of the future traffic states of the overall city arterial networks provides the process of urban traffic evolution for researchers,which can serve as reference information for the city traffic ***,the complexity and heterogeneity of urban traffic system and the big data challenge have proven to be substantial difficulties.A probabilistic tree modeling framework for estimating the overall traffic states is proposed in this ***,we extract several typical traffic states covering the overall ***,the state predicting algorithm based on dynamic Variable-order Markov Model and Genetic Algorithm is developed,where different date attributes were evaluated ***,the prediction model using probability tree with multiple prediction steps is *** results using traffic speed data in Shanghai demonstrate the high accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method.

Low-poly style illustrations, which have 3D abstract appearance, have become a popular stylish recently. Most previous methods require special knowledges in 3D modeling and need tedious interactions. We present an interactive system for non-expert users to easily manipulate the low-poly style illustration. Our system consists of two parts: vertex sampling and mesh rendering. In the vertex sampling stage, we extract a set of candidate points from the image and rank them according to their importance of structure preserving using adaptive thinning. Based on the pre-ranked point list, the user can select an arbitrary number of vertices for the triangle mesh construction. In the mesh rendering stage, we optimize triangle colors to create stereo-looking low-polys. We also provide three tools for exible modication of vertex numbers, color contrast, and local region emphasis. The experiment results demonstrate that our system outperforms state-of-the-art method via simple user interactions.

The advancement of information communication technologies(ICT) has begun to change both industrial and consumer products towards ones with attributes of smartness and servitization. Nevertheless, smart features and deep integration with smart environment tend to complicate the effort for the provision of personalized products. To solve this problem, this paper puts forward a Smart Service Products (SSP) model comprising smart environment-enabled features and services-enabled smartness, apart from its own physical capability and functionality. A cloud-based framework for SSP personalization is proposed to enable the supply of personalized SSP with short lead-time and mass efficiency. Hence, a real case is implemented to validate the approach.

The Ellipsoidal Invariant Set of Fractional Order systems Subject to Actuator Saturation:The Convex Combination Form

The domain of attraction of a class of fractional order systems subject to saturating actuators is investigated in this paper. We show the domain of attraction is the convex hull of a set of ellipsoids. In this paper, the Lyapunov direct approach and fractional order inequality are applied to estimating the domain of attraction for fractional order systems subject to actuator saturation. We demonstrate that the convex hull of ellipsoids can be made invariant for saturating actuators if each ellipsoid with a bounded control of the saturating actuators is invariant. The estimation on the contractively invariant ellipsoid and construction of the continuous feedback law are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Two numerical examples illustrate the effectiveness of the developed method. © 2014 Chinese Association of Automation.

Cancer is a term used to refer to a large set of diseases. The cancerous cells grow and divide and, as a result, they form tumours that grow in size. The immune system recognise the cancerous cells and attack them, though, it can be weakened by the cancer. One type of cancer treatment is chemotherapy, which uses drugs to kill cancer cells. Clinical, experimental, and theoretical research has been developed to understand the dynamics of cancerous cells with chemotherapy treatment, as well as the interaction between tumour growth and immune system. We study a mathematical model that describes the cancer growth, immune system response, and chemotherapeutic agents. The immune system is composed of resting cells that are converted to hunting cells to combat the cancer. In this work, we consider drug sensitive and resistant cancer cells. We show that the tumour growth can be controlled not only by means of different chemotherapy protocols, but also by the immune system that attacks both sensitive and resistant cancer cells. Furthermore, for all considered protocols, we demonstrate that the time delay from resting to hunting cells plays a crucial role in the combat against cancer cells. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. The phenomenon of cracks on the surface of buildings is widespread. The existence of cracks affects the normal use of buildings, shortening the service life, seriously damaging the structure of buildings, resulting in safety accidents. Therefore, regular detection and reinforcement of cracks on the surface of buildings is a necessary link to ensure safety. At present, the detection of building surface cracks is mainly carried out by manpower with means of equipment assisted. However, there are some problems in manpower detection, such as high manpower consumption, low *** paper presents a method of detecting and inspecting cracks on building surface based on image processing technology in machine vision, which includes image gray transformation, image denoising etc. Curve fitting and least square method are used to obtain crack parameters, so as to improve the inspecting efficiency and realize the automation of building surface inspection.
