This paper investigates the method for estimating the domain of attraction of the origin for a class of fractional order system subject to actuator saturation with the fractional order 0 < α < 1. The sufficient condition on the asymptotic stability are obtained using Lyapunov direct approach and fractional order inequality. The method for the estimation on the contractively invariant ellipsoid is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs), and hence can be easily adopted for controller synthesis. Two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed method.

The paper presents a limit analysis of psychophysical methods which is designed for the changes in visual perception of when visual stimulus appear alternately. The purpose of this experiment is to reveal the quantizing relationship between stimulate and feeling response. Meanwhile, we studied the perception of image on visual information considering the color psychological attributes to clarify the changes of visual perception when image information presented by limit analysis approach. Based on the psychological scale, the test images were divided into three types using psychophysical analysis. The test results of psychophysical methods also were validated, focusing the verifications on the correctness of the main image date behind the limit analysis. The images data is derived from entropy, moment of inertia, local balance, and correlation. Both the two kinds of analysis arrived at the same conclusion, which turned out that the image perception happens in emotional process and depends upon the psychophysical property and signal superposition response.

In the field of image processing, compared with noisy image, high-quality or clean image usually has a positive impact on the final results, which lead to the emergence of image denoising. Recently, the patch-based methods have attracted considerable interest of researchers, which leverage the self-similarity of the noisy image or information of other relevant images. In this paper, we proposed a novel patch-based method to reduce the noise in optical coherence tomography (OCT) image, which consist of two steps. A combination of internal denoising and external denoising is adopted to select similar patches for each patch in the noisy image. Next, we use low rank technique to denoise the group of the noisy patch and its similar patches. After all patches in a noisy image are denoised, the corresponding clean image is constructed by aggregating all denoised pixels and the first step denoising is accomplished. A new noisy image is constructed and taken as the input of the second step denoising. Experimental results demonstrate that our method achieves better effect and performance, compared with the existing state-of-the-art methods.

The massive or large scaled multiple input multiple output(MIMO) systems have gained huge consideration due to high achievable data rates, reliable system performance and advantaged energy efficiency for future wireless networks. For such systems, we should have a keen knowledge of the channel model, the ways of configuration, spectral efficiency and so on. The obtaining of the far-field pattern in the massive MIMO system from measurements made in the near-field has attracted widespread attention recently. In this article, two basic techniques for accomplishing this have been proposed. In the first technique, the NTFF(near-field to far-field) transformation is based on the equivalence principle. While in the second technique, it is based on the plane wave spectrum(PWS) expansion. Both of the methods have their own advantages for the massive MIMO systems. One can drastically reduce the computation time and the other can make enormous reduction in the storage consumption. Experimental results show that the two transformation techniques are proved to be feasible and they are consistent with each other.

Background noise is a severe problem in speech related systems. In order to solve this problem, it is important to eliminate the noise from the noisy speech, which is called speech enhancement. Typical speech enhancement algorithms only operate on the short-time magnitude spectrum, while keeping the short-time phase spectrum unchanged for synthesis. Or only compensate the phase spectrum while keeping the magnitude spectrum unchanged. In this paper, we present a novel method by changing both magnitude and phase spectra to produce a modified complex spectrum. The test of an objective speech quality measure PESQ, and spectrogram analysis had showed that the proposed method can obtain better enhancement performance.

Urban drainage system is important for a modern city. This paper considers the control problem of an urban drainage system when a storm happens. By analyzing a storm, we see that the procedure of every storm is similar and its approximate procedure can be divided into three phases according to the change trend of rainfall. Therefore, we introduce the iterative learning control(ILC) into the urban drainage system and present a method of ILC based model predictive control(MPC). A 2D model based on a simpli ed model of drainage system is adopted. The procedure of a storm is divided into three phases and the ILC based MPC is designed for each phase by regarding it as a similar batch process. The handle of different length of phases is also considered. Since the learning based on the historic results is utilized, the proposed control method can improve the control result storm by storm. The numerical examples verify the effectiveness of the proposed design.
