Light field, as a new data representation format in multimedia, has the ability to capture both intensity and direction of light rays. However, the additional angular information also brings a large volume of data. Classical coding methods are not effective to describe the relationship between different views, leading to redundancy left. To address this problem, we propose a novel light field compression scheme based on implicit neural representation to reduce redundancies between views. We store the information of a light field image implicitly in an neural network and adopt model compression methods to further compress the implicit representation. Extensive experiments have demonstrated the effectiveness of our proposed method, which achieves comparable rate-distortion performance as well as superior perceptual quality over traditional methods. Effective identification of potential drug-drug interactions (DDIs) can prevent adverse effects caused by DDIs to a certain extent. This paper proposes the new hybrid method for predicting DDIs, which is called BiRW-KGBAN that combines bidirectional random walk and back aggregation based on knowledge graph. BiRW-KGBAN first constructs two knowledge graph KG-DrugBank and KG-KEGG that integrate data related to drugs. Then, an improved sampling method based on bidirectional random walk (BiRW) is used to sample the neighborhood information of drugs, including directly connected entities, related semantic relations and potential information. In addition, the path with drug as the center node is also extracted. Finally, two improved back aggregation model KGBAN1 and KGBAN2 are used to obtain the final embedded representation of the drugs. The experiments show that, compared with other existing methods, our method could obtain the higher-order topological information and the deeper potential neighborhood information of drugs, and has great improvements in DDIs prediction. The case study also shows that the proposed method has the potential for actual DDIs prediction. © 2022 IEEE.

In order to solve the challenge of multi-objective team personalized tourism route design, in view of the shortcomings of the existing divide and conquer algorithms, this study proposes an innovative personalized tourism route design method based on fuzzy APACA. This new scheme uses the principles of gradient descent theory to accurately identify and locate key influencing factors, and accordingly carries out a sensible classification of indicators to reduce possible interference. At the same time, by using the unique mechanism of fuzzy APACA, this scheme cleverly constructs the design strategy of tourism routes. The empirical results show that this scheme shows a significant improvement compared with the traditional divide and conquer algorithm in terms of key performance indicators such as the accuracy of personalized tourism route design and the processing efficiency of key factors, showing its obvious strong advantages. In the multi-objective team, the personalized tourism route design plays a crucial role, which can accurately predict and optimize the growth trend and output results of the multi-objective team's personalized tourism route design. However, in the face of complex simulation tasks, traditional divide-and-conquer algorithms show some inherent shortcomings, especially when dealing with multi-level challenges, their performance is often unsatisfactory. To overcome this, this study introduces a new idea of fuzzy APACA optimization for the design of personalized tourism routes, and accurately controls the influencing parameters through gradient descent theory, which is used as the road map for index allocation, and then uses fuzzy APACA to innovate and construct a system scheme. The test results clearly point out that in the context of the evaluation criteria, the new scheme has been significantly optimized in terms of accuracy and processing speed for a variety of challenges, showing stronger performance superiority. Mobile crowdsensing (MCS) is a potential technology for large-scale data collection. This technology requires the platform to recruit users to complete tasks in specific areas. A vital issue in MCS is task assignment, and most existing task assignment efforts consider only a single user type, which is not reasonable in real scenarios. Task assignment becomes more complicated when the platform tries to assign tasks to heterogeneous users with a limited budget in the platform. In this paper, we consider a quality-oriented task assignment for heterogeneous users problem. Professional users have a high sensing quality with a high cost, and normal users have a low sensing quality with a low cost First, we model the sensing capabilities and the costs of different users and formulate the quality-oriented task assignment for heterogeneous users problem. Then, we design the integer linear programming form and prove that the problem is NP-hard. By verifying the submodularity of the objective function, we present a greedy algorithm. Considering the inefficiency of the algorithm, we design two genetic algorithms to improve the total sensing quality. Finally, we evaluate the proposed algorithms under different cost cases based on a real dataset The results show that our proposed algorithm performs well under different cost distribution scenarios. © 2023 IEEE.

Reconstructing deformable soft tissues from endoscopic videos is a critical yet challenging task. Leveraging depth priors, deformable implicit neural representations have seen significant advancements in this field. However, depth priors from pre-Trained depth estimation models are often coarse, and inaccurate depth supervision can severely impair the performance of these neural networks. Moreover, existing methods overlook local similarities in input sequences, which restricts their effectiveness in capturing local details and tissue deformations. In this paper, we introduce UW-DNeRF, a novel approach utilizing neural radiance fields for high-quality reconstruction of deformable tissues. We propose an uncertainty-guided depth supervision strategy to mitigate the impact of inaccurate depth information. This strategy relaxes hard depth constraints and unlocks the potential of implicit neural representations. In addition, we design a local window-based information sharing scheme. This scheme employs local window and keyframe deformation networks to construct deformations with local awareness and enhances the model's ability to capture fine details. We demonstrate the superiority of our method over state-of-The-Art approaches on synthetic and in-vivo endoscopic datasets. Code is available at: https://***/IRMVLab/UW-DNeRF. © 2025 IEEE.

The rapid development of modern industry makes fault diagnosis more important. In engineering practice, equipment often works under different working conditions, and there may be several new faults, called unknown faults, which cannot be identified by the traditional intelligent fault diagnosis method. To solve the difficulty of unknown faults diagnosis under multiple working conditions, a fault diagnosis method based on adversarial transfer learning and multitask learning is proposed in this paper. First, known faults and unknown faults are distinguished by adversarial transfer method with sample weights. Second, the fault classification module and fault location module trained by multitask learning are used to classify and locate the known faults. Besides, the number of categories of unknown faults is identified by the Bisecting K-Means clustering algorithm with silhouette coefficient. Experiment shows that the proposed method can be well applied to unknown fault diagnosis, and has a better recognition rate than other comparison methods. © 2023 IEEE.

Task assignment is a key challenge in mobile crowd-sensing because of the varying capabilities of crowd users. Location-based task assignment schemes require users to upload their location to an untrusted platform, which raises many privacy concerns. However, stronger privacy preservation may lead to lower system utility. It is challenging to maximize system utility under privacy preservation for users. In this paper, we propose a privacy-preserving task assignment for heterogeneous users (PTAH) problem in mobile crowdsensing. Specifically, we divide users into two groups: private users with location privacy requirements and public users without location privacy requirements. We first design a privacy-preserving mechanism to obfuscate the actual location of private users. Then we construct a relationship graph based on the locations between users and tasks. We prove that the PTAH problem is an NP-hard problem, so to maximize the system utility, we propose an approximation algorithm based on the greedy algorithm. Then we propose a multi-thread cooperative simulated annealing algorithm to search for a better approximate solution. Finally, we conducted simulations based on the widely-used real-world Roma dataset. The results show that our proposed algorithm consistently outperforms other baseline algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.

Ridesharing benefits the economy and the environment. In multi-hop ridesharing, passengers are permitted to switch vehicles within a single trip, extending the flexibility of conventional ridesharing. Nonetheless, vehicle dispatch is a difficult issue in multi-hop ridesharing. We subdivide the vehicle dispatching problem into the vehicle pairing problem and the request selection problem within a vehicle pair. To address these subproblems, we propose a two-stage framework for vehicle pair dispatching. In the initial stage, we model the vehicle pairing problem as a maximum vehicle-vehicle matching problem in a general graph, which differs from the conventional vehicle-request matching problem in a bipartite graph. The vehicle pairing algorithm is proposed to efficiently solve the vehicle pairing problem. In the second stage, we model the request selection problem as a multidimensional knapsack problem (d-KP) and propose an LP-relaxation request selection algorithm with an approximation ratio 1/5. Experiments conducted on a real-world dataset demonstrate the economic benefit of our proposed two-stage framework. © 2023 IEEE.

Early forest fire image recognition plays an important role in timely fire fighting. This paper proposes an early forest fire recognition method based on C-GhostNet network. The C-GhostNet network is an improved version of GhostNet, which mainly consists of a series of c-ghost bottlenecks, each c-ghost bottleneck mainly consists of two c-ghost modules. Through the concat operation and channel shuffle, the c-ghost module establishes the relationship between the input data and the output features generated by the original ghost module, so that GhostNet network has the ability to capture contextual features. The experimental results show that the C-GhostNet network achieves better recognition performance than GhostNet without introducing additional computational load, and the running speed reaches about 20FPS, which basically realizes real-time recognition. In addition, like GhostN et, the C-GhostNet network is also a lightweight network. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper explores the size-invariance of evaluation metrics in Salient Object Detection (SOD), especially when multiple targets of diverse sizes co-exist in the same image. We observe that current metrics are size-sensitive, where larger objects are focused, and smaller ones tend to be ignored. We argue that the evaluation should be size-invariant because bias based on size is unjustified without additional semantic information. In pursuit of this, we propose a generic approach that evaluates each salient object separately and then combines the results, effectively alleviating the imbalance. We further develop an optimization framework tailored to this goal, achieving considerable improvements in detecting objects of different sizes. Theoretically, we provide evidence supporting the validity of our new metrics and present the generalization analysis of SOD. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our method.
