This paper studies a supply chain quality coordination and risk-sharing problem. We find when the supply chain is coordinated under internal and external quality fault existing, it can be obtained the optimal profit, order quantity and risk sharing of the supply chain parties for each. And when the supply chain is coordinated and the item has not been sold, the supplier should allow the seller return his order item with wholesale price. The total optimal expected profit is smaller when internal and external quality fault is appeared but the risking share is larger. The risk sharing is positively correlated with the fault rate but is noncorrelated with the return policy. The risk sharing of the supply chain is also positively correlated with the wholesale price, retail price and the seller is not zero risk sharing1.

In this work, scheduling problems with resource allocation and past-sequence-dependent (p-s-d) setup times are considered. Under these settings, the actual job processing times are dependent on the amount of resource allocated and the setup times are proportionate to the length of the already processed jobs. The objective function is a combination of the total completion time and the total resource consumption. In addition, the machine may need maintenance to improve its production efficiency, so the maintenance is also integrated. The optimal job sequence, the optimal amount of resource allocated to each job, and the optimal maintenance position are determined jointly. It is shown that the problem under study is polynomial time solvable.

In this paper, we examine the knowledge transfer process on community networks by analyzing the average knowledge level as a function of the agent's absorptive capacity. It is found that the average knowledge level decreases with the increment of inner-community links and the decreases of inter-community links when we keep the total links (including inner-community and inter-community links) constant. It is also shown that as for inner-community (inter-community) links unvaried, the increment of inter-community (inner-community) will promote average knowledge level.

This paper puts forth a model of the transportation and inventory integration and optimization problem based on system and optimal theory which we take into account the antinomy relationship of transportation and inventory and the antinomy relationship of inventory and stock-out in supply chain logistics system. We consider that the resources available and the total time of inventory and transportation are *** the transportation process, transportation cost, transportation time and transportation capacity may vary between the two adjacent nodes for the reason of the transfer among various transportation modes. When the mode of the transportation is changed, we need consider the transshipment time and transshipment *** issue is a multi-transportation option network question under the normal distribution of the minimum total cost which consists of transportation cost, inventory cost, stock-out cost and time cost. In this paper, we comparatively study and specifically calculate the minimum total transportation and inventory cost in several different cases. Our paper shows that the result is not only more reasonable and effective than other models which can be seen in the appendix but also more in line with the actual situation of the supply chain logistics system. We can get our purpose that we may have a certain referential significance to reduce the total cost and raise the total profit of the supply chain logistics system.

Supply chain integration nowadays is considered as an important approach to building and sustaining advantages. Many previous empirical researches focus on the effect of supply chain integration on the firms' performance, yet, the antecedence of supply chain integration is still largely unknown. This paper investigates the relationship between environmental uncertainty (including demand uncertainty, supply uncertainty and technology uncertainty) and supply chain integration (including customer integration, supplier integration and internal integration) with 139 samples from Chinese manufacturing industry. The results reveal both supply uncertainty and technology uncertainty significantly influence supply chain integration; the effect of supply uncertainty is negative, while that of technology uncertainty is positive. However, demand uncertainty just has a significant effect on internal integration. The relationship between demand uncertainty and external integration (including customer integration and supplier integration) is mediated by the internal integration.
