space-based hyperspectral cameras require onboard light sources for the calibration and degradation monitoring of their detectors. Electrodeless lamps (EDLs) are an interesting solution because they have features of the extremely long life. The high brightness and wide spectral range, which spans from ultraviolet to infrared wavelengths, making light sources with narrow and intense spectral lines are a popular choice for scientific instruments. In this paper, an inductively-coupled krypton lamp was demonstrated as a calibration source, which offers a longer service life compared to traditional calibration sources and demonstrated that these EDLs are suitable for space applications. During testing, the device demonstrated good performance, with the inductor coil’s current peaking at about 8A and the lamp’s start-up time being 200 microseconds.

Spectral calibration sources are essential for the calibration and characterization of spectroscopic detection equip-ment. This paper presents the design of an inductively coupled light source as a spectral calibration source. We employed a longitudinal magnetic field inductive discharge design, conducted a simulation analysis of the magnetic field distribution within this design, and solved the drift-diffusion equations to obtain the electron temperature and energy distribution of the generated plasma. The designed RF circuit has a stable resonant frequency at 13 MHz, and the operating power can be adjusted between o and 20 W. This device demonstrates excellent performance and stability, offering a longer lifespan compared to traditional calibration sources.

With the rapid development of aerospacetechnology, the detection ability of remote dim target has become a key task. Cross strip anode (XS) photoelectric imaging detector can be used to capture weak target signal, has become a powerful tool for remote target detection. Due to the complex and changeable space environment, various noises will inevitably enter the detection system, thus interfering with the accurate detection of targets and reducing signal resolution. In order to improve the precision of calculating the centroid of cross strip anode under strong noise, a model based on physical information neural network (PINN) is proposed. Compared with the traditional centroid method, the physical information based neural network method does not need to set specific parameters according to the type of noise, so it is hardly affected by noise interference and can obtain high precision centroid localization.
