3D anomaly detection has recently become a significant focus in computer vision. Several advanced methods have achieved satisfying anomaly detection performance. However, they typically concentrate on the external structure of 3D samples and struggle to leverage the internal information embedded within samples. Inspired by the basic intuition of why not look inside for more, we introduce a straightforward method named Internal Spatial Modality Perception (ISMP) to explore the feature representation from internal views fully. Specifically, our proposed ISMP consists of a critical perception module, Spatial Insight Engine (SIE), which abstracts complex internal information of point clouds into essential global features. Besides, to better align structural information with point data, we propose an enhanced key point feature extraction module for amplifying spatial structure feature representation. Simultaneously, a novel feature filtering module is incorporated to reduce noise and redundant features for further aligning precise spatial structure. Extensive experiments validate the effectiveness of our proposed method, achieving object-level and pixel-level AUROC improvements of 4.2% and 13.1%, respectively, on the Real3D-AD benchmarks. In named entity recognition, the main methods for constructing deep neural networks are fine-tuning and prompt tuning. Fine-tuning is a commonly used paradigm to optimize neural networks by using task-specific objective functions to make them more adapted to solve downstream tasks. In which pre-trained language models are used as external resources to provide contextual representations. Prompt tuning is a recent paradigm in which the downstream tasks are reformulated to look more like those solved during the original PLM training with the help of a textual prompt. It is effective to utilize potential knowledge of PLMs. In this paper, we propose the fusion approach, which sufficiently fuses the semantics obtained by extracting fine-tuning and prompt-tuning. In our approach, the model makes decisions based on the information obtained from the reconstructive fusion of the fine-tuned semantics and the semantics of the pre-trained language model. The representation obtained by fine-tuning and the representation obtained by prompt tuning are reconstructed into a multidimensional semantics using a gate fusion module (GFM). In particularly, our model has two gate components, one gate to extract the semantics of fine-tuning and the other gate to extract the semantics of prompt tuning, and finally the reconstructed semantic representation is obtained. This takes full advantage of the potential knowledge of PLM. Our model is evaluated on the CONLL2003, ACE2005 and GENIA corpora. Accelerating Backward Aggregation in GCN Training with Execution Path Preparing on GPUs

The emerging Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) has been widely used in many domains, where it is important to improve the efficiencies of applications by accelerating GCN trainings. Due to the sparsity nature and exploding scales of input real-world graphs, state-of-the-art GCN training systems (e.g., GNNAdvisor) employ graph processing techniques to accelerate the message exchanging (i.e. aggregations) among the graph vertices. Nevertheless, these systems treat both the aggregation stages of forward and backward propagation phases as all-active graph processing procedures that indiscriminately conduct computations on all vertices of an input graph. In this paper, we first point out that in a GCN training problem with a given training set on an input graph, its aggregation stages of backward propagation phases (called as backward aggregations in this paper) can be equivalently converted to partially-active graph processing procedures, which conduct computations on only partial vertices of the input graph. By leveraging such a finding, we propose an execution path preparing method that collects and coalesces the graph data used during different training layers of backward aggregations, and constructs their corresponding sub-graphs (called as execution paths in this paper) as inputs to conduct the backward training on GPUs. Further, we propose a structural-aware strategy for the execution paths to compute their optimal group sizes, so as to gain as high as possible performances on GPUs during the backward aggregations. The experiment results by conducting GCN training in typical real-world graphs show that compared with GNNAdvisor, our approach improves the performance of backward aggregations by up to 5.68x on NVIDIA P100 GPU, and up to 6.57x on NVIDIA V100S GPU. Knowledge Graph is an important research field that involves the storage and management of knowledge, but the incompleteness and sparsity of Knowledge Graphs hinder their application in many fields. Knowledge Graph Reasoning aims to alleviate this problem by completing missing paths or identifying wrong paths between entities. Graph Convolution Network (GCN) based methods are one of the state-of-the-art approaches to this work. However, it is difficult to directly generalize to unknown nodes and utilizes valid information from the local neighborhood which results in poor flexibility and extensibility and will loss of important information. This paper presents EG-KGR, a plug-and-play knowledge reasoning model based on enhanced graph sampling and aggregate inductive learning algorithm to relieve the above problems and enhance existing GCN-based methods. Specifically, EG-KGR supports incremental characteristics, uses inductive learning to replace transductive learning, and designs random sampling and local information sampling optimization methods to improve the model's generalization ability, prediction accuracy, and running speed. Extensive experimental results show that our EG-KGR can achieve optimal results.

Multimodal dialogue emotion recognition integrates data from multiple modalities to accurately identify emotional states in conversations. However, differences in expression and information density across modalities complicate the fusion of features. Traditional methods may introduce redundant information from other utterances, reducing the accuracy of emotion recognition. Existing one-hot labels often fail to capture the full range of emotional expressions, leading to biased results. To address these issues, we propose a model that fuses different modalities within the same utterance to avoid redundancy. It employs a progressive classification process, refining emotion recognition from coarse to fine granularity. Additionally, we use emotion polarity probabilities as weights for fine-grained classification and introduce a multimodal information-rich label that considers both the data and their interactions. Experiments on IEMOCAP and MELD datasets demonstrate the model’s effectiveness, significantly improving dialog emotion recognition accuracy. Our code is available at https://***/r/LOCG-188E.

Accurately diagnosing the fault that causes the failure is crucial for maintaining the reliability of a microservice system after a failure occurs. Mainstream fault diagnosis approaches are data-driven and mainly rely on three modalities of runtime data: traces, logs, and metrics. Diagnosing faults with multiple modalities of data in microservice systems has been a clear trend in recent years because different types of faults and corresponding failures tend to manifest in data of various modalities. Accurately diagnosing faults by fully leveraging multiple modalities of data is confronted with two challenges: 1) how to minimize information loss when extracting features for data of each modality; 2) how to correctly capture and utilize the relationships among data of different modalities. To address these challenges, we propose FAMOS, a Fault diagnosis Approach for MicrOservice systems through effective multi-modal data fusion. On the one hand, FAMOS employs independent feature extractors to preserve the intrinsic features for each modality. On the other hand, FAMOS introduces a new Gaussian-attention mechanism to accurately correlate data of different modalities and then captures the inter-modality relationship with a crossattention mechanism. We evaluated FAMOS on two datasets constructed by injecting comprehensive and abundant faults into an open-source microservice system and a real-world industrial microservice system. Experimental results demonstrate the FAMOS's effectiveness in fault diagnosis, achieving significant improvements in F1 scores compared to state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods, with an increase of 20.33 %.

Disentangled Cascaded Graph Convolution Networks for Multi-Behavior Recommendation

Multi-behavioral recommender systems have emerged as a solution to address data sparsity and cold-start issues by incorporating auxiliary behaviors alongside target behaviors. However, existing models struggle to accurately capture varying user preferences across different behaviors and fail to account for diverse item preferences within behaviors. Various user preference factors (such as price or quality) entangled in the behavior may lead to sub-optimization problems. Furthermore, these models overlook the personalized nature of user behavioral preferences by employing uniform transformation networks for all users and items. To tackle these challenges, we propose the Disentangled Cascaded Graph Convolutional Network (Disen-CGCN), a novel multi-behavior recommendation model. Disen-CGCN employs disentangled representation techniques to effectively separate factors within user and item representations, ensuring their independence. In addition, it incorporates a multi-behavioral meta-network, enabling personalized feature transformation across user and item behaviors. Furthermore, an attention mechanism captures user preferences for different item factors within each behavior. By leveraging attention weights, we aggregate user and item embeddings separately for each behavior, computing preference scores that predict overall user preferences for items. Our evaluation of benchmark datasets demonstrates the superiority of Disen-CGCN over state-of-the-art models, showcasing an average performance improvement of 7.07% and 9.00% on respective datasets. These results highlight Disen-CGCN’s ability to effectively leverage multi-behavioral data, leading to more accurate recommendations.

Logs record essential information about system operations and serve as a critical source for anomaly detection, which has generated growing research interest. Utilizing large language models (LLMs) within a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) framework for log-based anomaly detection is an effective approach due to its strong generalization capabilities and efficient few-shot performance. However, the effectiveness of this method hinges on the quality of the knowledge source, which can be impacted by noise and changes within the software systems. Facing these problems, in this paper, we propose a novel log-based anomaly detection method named EagerLog, employing active learning to choose the logs for humans to label, thereby adding them to the knowledge source, thus enhancing the knowledge source and maintaining its quality. Our experiments on three open datasets (BGL, Thunderbird, Zookeeper) and one industrial dataset demonstrate that EagerLog can achieve 93.65% F1 score with approximately 10 labeled log sequences, surpassing existing methods by 15.32%.

Depressive disorders to some extent erode the mental and physical health of many individuals. There is a pressing need for new technologies to enhance the diagnosis as well as treatment of depression, which currently relies heavily on subjective reports and lacks precise classification for its subtypes. Anxiety-type depression is a subtype of depression that is clinically challenging to distinguish from non-anxiety-type depression. Statistical data indicates anxiety-type depression has a higher prevalence among university students, poses greater risks, and has more possibility of leading to suicidal tendencies. Research integrating neuroimaging with artificial intelligence for assisted diagnosis and treatment of anxiety-type depression holds significant clinical importance. This study collected fNIRS data from depression patients and evaluated classification performance using a deep learning measure based on the CNN framework, highlighting the extraction of the most significant feature associated with anxiety-type depression deficits. This work provides a valuable lens to understand the complexities of anxiety-type depression and design human-computer interaction treatment methods. Drawing on research in psychology and cognitive science, and recent advancements in cognitive intervention studies, we illustrate the demands of assisted diagnosis, requiring a high degree of intelligent treatment of depression. We propose addressing these demands by designing and integrating a social-assistive chatbot that employs CBT for treating anxiety-type depression into a comprehensive agent system.

This paper explores the size-invariance of evaluation metrics in Salient Object Detection (SOD), especially when multiple targets of diverse sizes co-exist in the same image. We observe that current metrics are size-sensitive, where larger objects are focused, and smaller ones tend to be ignored. We argue that the evaluation should be size-invariant because bias based on size is unjustified without additional semantic information. In pursuit of this, we propose a generic approach that evaluates each salient object separately and then combines the results, effectively alleviating the imbalance. We further develop an optimization framework tailored to this goal, achieving considerable improvements in detecting objects of different sizes. Theoretically, we provide evidence supporting the validity of our new metrics and present the generalization analysis of SOD. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our method.
