In this paper, the state space model of high speed train is established to describe its nonlinear dynamic characteristics, whose parameters are disturbed by noise with an arbitrary distribution, and an online state and parameter identification method is proposed based on a parameters set by employing Bayesian theory and Particle Filter (PF). Firstly, the priori probabilities of all of the possible parameters are set to be equal, and the predicted states with different parameters are estimated using PF. Then the posterior probabilities of the parameters are updated by analyzing the characteristic of the measurement noise using Bayesian theory. Finally, the system sate and parameter are estimated by weighted summing all of the parameters and predicted states. The simulation results indicate that the proposed method can estimate the states and parameters of high speed train online and adaptively. © 2016 SERSC.

In this paper the asymmetric bistable system excited by binary aperiodic signals is taken as a model and the average symbol error rate is regarded as an index to study stochastic resonance(SR) ***,the SR driven by binary signals under α stable noise is ***,the interplay between the α stable noise parameters α,β,and the system parameters a,b,r on the resonant output effect is *** results show that weak binary signals detection can be realized by adjusting the system parameters a,b and *** optimal values solved by these parameters can make the system produce the best SR *** a certain a or b,there is an optimal value under different α or β.For the parameter r,there is an optimal value under different α,and there are several optimal values under different β.Moreover,when α or β is given different values,the evolution laws in asymmetric bistable SR system excited by binary signals are *** results lay a foundation for realizing the adaptive parameter adjustment in asymmetric bistable SR system with α stable noise.

Mono-crystalline silicon is widely applied in the photovoltaic and the integrated circuit *** power supply,as the key element of the mono-crystalline silicon growth furnace,plays an important role in the performance of the whole *** this paper,we propose a new kind of two-stage silicon growth furnace heating power supply topology *** first stage three phase rectifier employs the compound active clamp zero voltage soft switching(CACZVS) three-phase power factor correction(PFC) converter to achieve unity power factor and DC bus voltage regulation,and the second stage DC/DC converter employs phase shifted full bridge zero voltage and zero current soft switching converter(FB-ZVZCS) to regulate the output *** with the heating power supply of non-controlled rectifier type or three-phase power factor correction circuit using hard switching,the proposed two-stage converter structure can achieve high power factor,high efficiency and more flexibility of *** simulation results show the correctness of the analysis.

Under the three-phase unbalanced grid condition, the commonly used controller design methods of three-phase voltage source rectifiers (VSR) are based on the instantaneous power model and the current and voltage double-closed loop control structure. The inner current loop proportional integral (PI) controllers are designed for the positive- and negative-sequence current components, separately, therefore, there are eight mutual influenced control parameters need to be tuned, which is very complicated. In this paper, a current loop fixed frequency model predictive control (MPC) method is proposed for the three-phase VSR under the unbalanced voltage input condition. As compared to the traditional double-closed loop PI control structure based on the conventional instantaneous power model, the proposed method uses less control parameters with easy tuning rule, and simple control structure. The proposed current loop MPC control strategy can effectively restrain the active power oscillation and the current harmonics in both balanced and unbalanced grid input condition, which is proved by both simulation and experiment results.

With the development of artificial intelligence technology, robotics technology has become more and more mature. Ground walking robots not only develop rapidly, but also have been applied in actual production and life. However, the development of wall climbing robot technology is still in the laboratory research and small-scale application. We live in a world where progress is continuing. Large-scale buildings, bridges and ships are becoming more and more common. In these places, it is inevitable to involve the construction, maintenance and clarity of high-rise buildings and ships. In the case of dangerous and inefficient manpower work, the application of wall climbing robots can play a very good role. Therefore, the development of wall climbing robots is of vital importance both now and in the future. Starting from the performance characteristics of wall climbing robot, this paper studies and summarizes the moving mode, control mode, conditions to be satisfied and various adsorption forms of wall climbing robot, and introduces the basic research situation in the field of wall climbing robot.

Smooth controller design for non-linear systems using multiple fixed models

Multiple model adaptive control (MMAC) with second-level adaptation is a recently proposed methodology for dealing with systems where the parametric uncertainty is large. Compared with the multiple model switching scheme, the new scheme can lead to significant improvements in performance. Some research has been conducted using the new scheme, but all of the results concern linear systems with an adaptive identification model set. In this study, MMAC with second-level adaptation scheme is extended to non-linear systems in strict feedback form, and the fixed identification model set is under consideration. This is motivated by the fact that a smooth controller can lead to smooth performance and the fixed identification model set gains potential advantages over the adaptive identification model set, especially for the case that the parameters of the system change over the time. Design details are presented and the stability of MMAC with second-level adaptation using a fixed identification model set for non-linear systems is given, which has not been discussed before. Finally, two simulations are performed to show that this scheme performs much better than conventional schemes, including adaptive control and multiple-model switching schemes, in terms of convergence speed and transient performance.

In this paper,the weak signal detection under a stable noise is investigated based on bistable vibrational resonance(VR) which is driven by a high frequency *** the one hand,the energy of the high frequency drive signal is transferred to the low frequency weak signal when VR occurs;on the other hand,the control of stochastic resonance(SR) is achieved based on VR,which transfers more noise energy into useful signal *** addition,considering the requirements of real-time detection,the amplitude and frequency of the high frequency drive signal are optimized by the knowledge-based particle swarm optimization(KPSO),which takes the mean signal-noise-ratio(MSNR) of output as the fitness function,and the property that VR system produces the best resonance effect just when the valid system parameter a(B,Ω) is greater than zero as ***,the parameter compensation is combined to achieve multi-high frequency weak signals detection with a stable ***,the method is applied to the vibration fault diagnosis of a mono-crystalline silicon furnace,and the experiment results show the effectiveness and practicability of the method.

Chimera states in spatiotemporal dynamical systems have been investigated in physical, chemical, and biological systems, and have been shown to be robust against random perturbations. How do chimera states achieve their robustness? We uncover a self-adaptation behavior by which, upon a spatially localized perturbation, the coherent component of the chimera state spontaneously drifts to an optimal location as far away from the perturbation as possible, exposing only its incoherent component to the perturbation to minimize the disturbance. A systematic numerical analysis of the evolution of the spatiotemporal pattern of the chimera state towards the optimal stable state reveals an exponential relaxation process independent of the spatial location of the perturbation, implying that its effects can be modeled as restoring and damping forces in a mechanical system and enabling the articulation of a phenomenological model. Not only is the model able to reproduce the numerical results, it can also predict the trajectory of drifting. Our finding is striking as it reveals that, inherently, chimera states possess a kind of "intelligence" in achieving robustness through self adaptation. The behavior can be exploited for controlled generation of chimera states with their coherent component placed in any desired spatial region of the system. Copyright © 2018, The Authors. Enhanced Geometric Map:a 2D&3D Hybrid City Model of Large Scale Urban Environment for Robot Navigation

To facilitate scene understanding and robot navigation in large scale urban environment, a two-layer enhanced geometric map(EGMap) is designed using videos from a monocular onboard camera. The 2D layer of EGMap consists of a 2D building boundary map from top-down view and a 2D road map, which can support localization and advanced map-matching when compared with standard polyline-based maps. The 3D layer includes features such as 3D road model,and building facades with coplanar 3D vertical and horizontal line segments, which can provide the 3D metric features to localize the vehicles and flying-robots in 3D space. Starting from the 2D building boundary and road map, EGMap is initially constructed using feature fusion with geometric constraints under a line feature-based simultaneous localization and mapping(SLAM) framework iteratively and progressively. Then, a local bundle adjustment algorithm is proposed to jointly refine the camera localizations and EGMap features. Furthermore, the issues of uncertainty, memory use, time efficiency and obstacle effect in EGMap construction are discussed and analyzed. Physical experiments show that EGMap can be successfully constructed in large scale urban environment and the construction method is demonstrated to be very accurate and robust.
