Safety tests are used to verify the safety functions of Chinese Train control system (CTCS). The structural complexity and interface diversity of the system bring some challenges to generate test cases including possible failure modes for specific safety functions. In this paper, we propose a method of generating test cases for the train-ground transmission function based on model-based mutation testing. The timed automata model of CTCS is established. Then, mutation operators are designed according to the types of the failure modes which may occur in the process of train-ground information transmission. By applying these mutation operators, the mutants are obtained. Finally, test cases are generated via conformance checks between the mutants and the original model. The application of this method is illustrated by the level conversion scene. The result shows that this method can automatically generate 208 safety test cases covering five failure modes for the scene. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2020.

Substation is the core hub of power system. With the expansion of the scale of the power system and the improvement of its intelligence, the problems of the redundancy of architecture and equipment in the protection and monitoring system of substation can no longer be ignored. This paper proposes an evaluation method for integration in the protection and monitoring system based on G1 method. Firstly, according to the requirements of integration in the protection and monitoring system, the corresponding indicators are proposed to form an index system for evaluating integration. And then, an evaluation method is proposed for integration of the protection and monitoring system, based on G1 method and expert investigation. Finally, the feasibility of the evaluation method is verified by comparing and analyzing the evaluation results of a typical substation and its structural optimization substation.

In this paper, we consider a joint beamforming design in a cognitive radio (CR) network aided with an intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) panel. The symbol-level precoding (SLP) is adopted at the base station to enhance the symbol error rate (SER) performance of the network. The joint beamforming design is formulated as a nonconvex optimization problem to achieve max-min fairness in the secondary network subject to the interference temperature constraints, the maximum power constraint, and the constant modulus constraints over the passive beamformer. To solve this problem with the coupling between variables, we propose an algorithm based on the alternating optimization (AO) technique, and then two subproblems can be obtained to optimize the transmit and passive beamformers alternately. Specifically, a penalized successive convex approximation (P-SCA) method is developed to optimize the passive beamformer. The simulation results demonstrate that the SLP technique can further enhance the system performance in terms of signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) compared with the conventional block-level precoding. © 2021 IEEE.

Mobile channel modeling has always been the core part for design, deployment and optimization of communication system, especially in 5G and beyond era. Deterministic channel modeling could precisely achieve mobile channel description, however with defects of equipment and time consuming. In this paper, we proposed a novel super resolution (SR) model for cluster characteristics prediction. The model is based on deep neural networks with residual connection. A series of simulations at 3.5 GHz are conducted by a three-dimensional ray tracing (RT) simulator in diverse scenarios. Cluster characteristics are extracted and corresponding data sets are constructed to train the model. Experiments demonstrate that the proposed SR approach could achieve better power and cluster location prediction performance than traditional interpolation method and the root mean square error (RMSE) drops by 51% and 78% relatively. Channel impulse response (CIR) is reconstructed based on cluster characteristics, which could match well with the multi-path component (MPC). The proposed method can be used to efficiently and accurately generate big data of mobile channel, which significantly reduces the computation time of RT-only.

With the gradual development of autonomous driving technology, the cost of traditional road test is becoming higher and higher. The mainstream approach of autonomous driving test has been transferred to the accurate and efficient simulation test system based on typical environment. Millimeter wave (mmWave) radar is an important part of autonomous driving and integrated sensor system. This means that the foundation of the future autonomous driving environment simulation system needs the real mmWave vehicular radar signal propagation mechanism. Therefore, the research of radio wave propagation characteristics in vehicular mmWave radar frequency band is the basis of mmWave radar simulation. In this paper, the vehicular mmWave radar signal in the expressway environment is measured, and ray-tracing (RT) simulation is conducted according to the measurement configuration. The electromagnetic (EM) parameters is calibrated through the Radar Cross section (RCS). The signal propagation characteristics are researched, and a hybrid channel model is established with RT, which effectively increases the simulation efficiency and serves for future autonomous vehicle driving test.

Next Generation Train control system(NGTC) based on train-train communication can efficiently realize train tracking control through constant distance *** to ensure the stability of the platoon with the control strategy is very crucial since the leader train action is random in the platoon *** on Stochastic Priced Timed Game(SPTG),we propose a train-train communication control strategy modeling and verification ***,according to the control strategy's requirements,a platoon control model including a leader train and follower trains are established and the stability are verified by SPTG ***,using time expansion as the cost function,the optimal operation strategy of the platoon is obtained through combination of the cooperative game of the platoon's SPTG automata model and ***,the stability optimization objection of the platoon is simulated in single-train operation,two-train operation and multi-train operation tracking *** with the random operation of the platoon,the result shows that this method can make the platoon stability error smaller.

The consumption of natural gas (NG) in China has quadrupled over the past decade. However, there is an absence of measurement-based assessment of methane emissions from NG consumption, including those from the urban distribution network. Here, we conducted a mobile survey with concurrent measurements of ambient methane concentrations, carbon dioxide concentrations, and13CH4isotopic signatures in the center and suburban areas of Hangzhou, a megacity in East China, from November 2021 to June 2022. We detected 176 leak indications in the 1408 km road covered with 32% attributed to NG leaks based on the source isotopic signature and the methane-to-carbon dioxide ratio derived from the Keeling plot and measured concentrations. We quantified the flux using Weller’s empirical equation, which yielded an emission factor of 115 L·d–1·km–1in Hangzhou. The value ranges from 16 to 314 L·d–1·km–1by accounting for various uncertainty sources. This emission factor falls on the lower end compared to previous studies conducted in North American and European cities. Our findings confirm the effectiveness of mobile surveys in detecting methane emission sources in urban China.

The schematic diagram of optical cavity design has been introduced in detail;meanwhile, the principle of measuring the gas concentration with optical resonator is also introduced. The pressure distribution and the velocity distribution of the optical cavity have been simulated by finite element method. Finally, the field performance of the optical cavity has been tested. Using the optical cavity spectroscopy technology, the gas component detection system is set up to realize high precision online monitoring of gas components such as CO, H2S and HF. The detection system uses narrow line-width semiconductor laser to select the characteristic gas spectrum and output the absorption peak wavelength. Three kinds of gas concentration are measured by time division multiplexing, and the online sampling device of closed loop gas is integrated to complete the monitoring platform of high precision. The paper has developed the SF6 composition monitoring device based on optical attenuation technology, which provides the new research method for the online monitoring of gas components such as CO, H2S and HF with the high accuracy of 3 ppm. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2020.
